[X] "Do you believe in fate?"

Will the Zentradi learn to fear the White Devil?
No because Amuro is not joining the EFF and even if he does that is years away and there is no reason he would become anything more than a skilled pilot in the new Fleet. All he did was help Cipher in someway during the attack on side 7 that was stopped easily and quickly before anything happened.

You got the obvious one, the others were wrong

Hmm well then who could they be I was only sure of the first two anyways. The Ace option might be and alien Ace due to the Encounter of the Fourth Kind naming scheme so we might get a view of the aliens.

The Fate one might be some of the other members of the White Base or people they met during their adventure.

The Deja Vu one might be Lahal Sune since Alex has met her clone it might work.

I mean, a fate expy as a Zentradi works better than it should.
What do you mean by this?

anime reference. The white devil is a name for Nanoha , who is the main character for a magical girl anime where its basically Gundom fights without explosions. Fate is the clone mage emotionally manipulated into fighting her until Nanoha manages to talk her down.
That is only slightly more insane than what I expect from anime.
Meltrandi, and going by canonical timeline, a few months after First Contact, when first wave of reinforcements comes to Zentrade
Huh what do you mean we are still a little over 9 years away from the arrival of the scouts for the first contact.

its a good anime, and not really that crazy. It also pivots to magi tech military stories rather than magical girl stories pretty fast.
Cool that is always my favorite kind of magic use. Let's go magi tech military. So do you think you could make an omake about our scientists having volunteers being cloned and the knowledge transfer machines the aliens used on them and the clones? To see if it only works on clones or if we can use the tech to speed up the training of our normal forces.
[X] The Red Comet's dilemma
Nice to see you here man welcome.

Actually, I was referencing Amuro Ray in the RX-78 Gundam, who's the original White Devil.

ah, well never mind then.

still might omake a Nanoha expy and fate expy in if the Meltrandi show up though.
Well we already have one of them in our service Tiv so we are partly there. So what do you think about the omake Idea I know you are good at making them so I figured it was best to just put it out there for you or anyone else that wants to give it a shot.

Sounds like a zeon kind of project. so I could see zeon doing it. might write if the idea if it grabs me. though the idea perculting right now is the guy who designed Jormungand reading out analysis about what its good for during joint reasarch, and having a breakdown with a whisky fuled call home. because he relized hat his lifes work is more or less only good for committing massacres, and in this timeline he has not had to rationalize that yet.

I mean i'm assuming thats why they built it. according to the wiki, they built it, moved it into position, and then ignored it. Not even bothering to give it targeting data. So to me at least that hints that it was built for an eventually that ended up not occurring. Like them not being able to seize the sides and pump em full of nerve gas.

Not really the knowledge transfer tech is something the federation would be all over but the only way to see if it works is to test it on someone and if they have them volunteer then using them to test the cloning tech to see how well and better it works than the normal cloning tech the UC TL already has. We are not building a clone army but we need to test and have all options pursued.

Your still making a person. that is something of an ethical minefield. Because your not sure how they are going to come out.

Yeah and that is why they are testing it out to see what happens and it is not like the people they clone are going to be turned into weapons they have rights but they need to see if there is any danger to using it on humans instead of the aliens. We aren't making a horde of clones it is only a handful of people at most that get selected and asked to volunteer. The thing is that the war that is coming is likely to kill off most of the people on earth and the colonies so in order to bounce back we need to have the cloning tech fully vetted and tested. Are there issues yes but they are acceptable in the face of extinction that is what top-secret classification and above are for to do and look for things that you can't and shouldn't tell the public about.

[] Mega Project: Project Tower Shield- Earth to space Anti-Capital weapons are badly needed
-[] Plan: Stonehenge (Phase I of IV)- A series of Ultra-Heavy Railguns placed around the Earth in strategic locations. (DC Hard)
-[] (Tech locked)
-[] (Tech locked)
-[] (Tech locked)
So guys for this option we should wait until we get more techs unlocked to see what kind of defenses the other options give since right now all we have is the railgun network, and since we can only do one mega project at a time we should focus on the space elevator.

If we are talking planet scale anti-space weapon then we would want to nom our half of the moon first. Easier to built weapons that size in low-G before on regular G.

It is built on earth because that is where alot of the industry and resources are so it is the place that needs protection the most. And if we built that stuff on the moon it would cost more take more time without the space elevators and would not be effective at protecting the earth because they would be too far to hit anything that attacked the Earth. Plus we need to learn to build it on harder places with higher gravity first so when we do build them on other world with less gravity like Mars and the moon it is easier for our crews.
