To be fair this is also Macross, and the world is still far from united. We're just a lot less likely to kill each other.

    So if the Macross timeline stays more or less intact. which it should because I don't think anything we will do what make them come to us faster. We have 10 years or so before the scout ships arrive. As long as we don't stop development and research I think we can actually have much more advanced mobile suits then we would if we followed Canon timeline development from Gundam. By that time we should have full production of the upgraded RGM-89D Jegan D Type and if we are lucky We might have MS that wouldn't be around for five or even ten years in the future like the RGM-96X Jesta RGM-89J Jegan Normal Type RGM-109 Heavygun at least in limited production by the time the armada arrives.

    We need experience if we are to become a Ace pilot. This is as good as any time to start building that up.

    This is a Macross and Gundam crossover. I doubt we will be getting any other franchise in here. Will get references to other franchises but that's about it. Mainly because bringing too many other franchises in going to drag down the quest in general. References and little nods to other franchises probably the best.

    • You hated that he called you buddy, it was somehow worse than Nugget.

    You met up with one of the other 2 MS teams that the Federation had deployed (half of the other one stayed with Shin, the other with Crossbones), all of them were in Zaku 1s, and they were supported by 12 Balls.

    About 10 minutes into the advance you got a strange premonition and looked up to see an enemy Zaku.

    That is the commander type which means it is more then capable of hitting us if we dodge overwhelming field of fire is a go.
