Right we are mopping up the other MS so the ship needs to knock out the cannon carrying ship because it is nearly done with whatever it has planned. Also sure try to save her but she is an enemy and still a danger disable her before she does something erratic. Someone else come up with some good dialogue.

I'm somewhat uncertain here, but I'm inclined to go for the mobiles suits as the Westborn is a destroyer iirc. Therefore it is probably somewhat lacking in firepower to take out something attached to a capital ship.
Your not sure about trusting a voice in your head but you've got nothing to solve this problem with.

Hm. So while a Newtype being used by TZ to make clones is plausible it just occurred to me that an alternative explanation is that Zeon has developed the Psycommu early due to shenanigans, and well we're talking with the Newtype in question.

The white Zaku rips the shield out of the hands of Shockwaves' Gundam before kicking the MS away, it's not moving but your still reading life signs.

Ouch Shockwave just got demolished... like is there a trait involving melee here? Shudders at the possibility.

Grumbles about organizations with Zeon in their name turning people into weapons. Also the Zaku is a sitting duck for someone with Shin's ranged skills.

It is always nice to have teammates who can exploit an opportunity. The most straightforward, and honest answer for Alex to give would be the reason she has for stepping onto the battlefield.

What kind of hero are you?[/QUOTE]Well Alex joined a protest against the EF for the sides to become independent due to believing in spacenoid equality, joined the EFF after the pro Zeon supporters turned it into a riot making her believe Zeon was a threat to aforementioned goal, and told Shin she was fighting to the protect those she cares about. So any answer should probably include those in some manner.

Perhaps something along the lines of "A future where everyone is able to live a life of dignity, and has the freedom to go where they will!"? I'll this over more after I get done with dinner preparations, but feel free to offer feedback.

The Atlas class is equipped with powerful medium energy weapons and it is far more powerful than a pre-refit Zeon ship that and a cannon that has no defenses of it own. It is an escort which means it needs to be able to fight warships as well as deal with swarms.

It actually has a lot more anti-ms than anti ship, but point taken on the cannon being a sitting duck unless it fires on the destroyer.

Yeah that is the main point of it when I made it. The Point Defense System is the main part but it has two sets of energy weapons which are still a threat to other warships. Plus we have already dealt with most of the MS the cannon is the last threat because a ship is not going to be much use against the elite Squadron we are fighting right now. Also the cannon is attached to the bottom and of the TZ ship and that ship is pre refit of any kind so it is a majorly disadvantaged ship in this fight. It isn't meant to be on its own but in this situation, we make do with what you have. In the ideal situation, it would be paired with another at least but we only got the one right now so it will do.

I think this is a better write-in that decently reflects Alex's opinions in a manner that fits the circumstances, but feel free to offer feedback.

Anyways the moratorium is 2 hours per the thread rules meaning it over.

The speech can be changed if someone comes up with something better. We are a "Hero" but I would rather be the kind that deals with the problem first before we try and convince her to have a real life.

There seems little need to shoot to disable seeing as Wolf 06 will either surrender, or keep on fighting until the bitter end down to her sidearm, which is what aiming to disable risks imo. At the end of the day I have full confidence that if diplomacy fails Shin can take out a slow moving mobile suit that is already in his sights if it suddenly accelerates.

Although apparently Shin dislikes death so he'll probably shoot to disable regardless, but if you're going that route at least include some post shoot down dialogue. Perhaps something along the lines of "You've done your duty as a soldier until you were shot down, and been fortunate enough to emerge from it alive. Please don't waste your second lease on life, and find a reason to keep on living until the end."

Hey I added some more dialogue so that the blank doesn't resist being disabled.


Also unless she is mentally incompetent she is still getting charged. The only chance she has is if we can find evidence of her being controlled to preform those acts.
 
Honestly a mental ward wouldn't be needed, psychologists of course should be involved, what is needed is probably something closer to adoption, probably with a family with both medical and military backgrounds. This way they get introduced to the world under a fairly controlled and understanding environment.

It shows she isn't completely alone if she surrender to a completely unknown group (federation). She's more fearful in being alone and without direction, so i figured it will be a good pitch.

Until it backfires on us by either the other person completely rejecting her which is very likely, or the more probable outcome they are kept completely separated and isolated from each other as is the normal procedure for prisoners like this. Plus the other pilot is a fanatic and not someone who should be anywhere near the blank ever.

But we would have the child alive and surrendered willingly. There are more than enough resources to support the child in every way.

You do know that we don't even know if it is a child right? She could be an adult or be like us a stupid teenager. Not that it would change much unless there is evidence that she is being controlled or was forced into service she is facing charges. Look I am all for trying to stop her without killing her but I am not about to lie or make promises that you know we can't fulfill.

But i would expand that effort to keep somenone alive, even if those promises will be broken. I'm pretty sure that pilot did not have a say in the matter going by what they said this update and previous updates.

That just means she is either too gullible or she is has no idea that there are other options neither one excludes the possibility she still made the choice to help them. People make bad choices without all the information all the time they still need to face the consequences of those actions. This applies to Alex as well by the way. A part of me wants this to blow up in her face so she can finally start getting smarter. You are letting your heart lead you here you need to let your mind temper your heart or you will start making very poor decisions. Also the only way the blank is no longer a threat is if her MS is disabled or if she is removed from the suit. Let me remind you we still have a major battle to finish and we cannot waste time to take her. Have Shin disable the suit. Since you are okay with lying to her and breaking promises this isn't any worse except it lets us move o ln to the rest of the fight that we need to help with.
