Also, folks, we have a problem: there are two identical plans, Plan Redshirt with Mushrooms and Plan Redshirt v3 with Mushrooms. We need to consolidate on one of them; since Redshirt with Mushrooms (minus the v3) has more votes I'd say we should be on that one, even though v3 was posted first. @The Phoenixian @Nerdasaurus Rex, making sure you see this.

It's time Mathilde learned to control her shadow.

-[x] DUCK: Continue to work with Panoramia with implementing the Waaaghsoak Mushrooms as an aid to spellcasting.
-[X] EIC: Insert agents into a particular province, cult, company, or institution to start gathering their secrets. (Cult of Karnos, Talabecland)
-[X] Suggest Eike spend a few weeks in Karak Eight Peaks, so she can grow familiar with Dwarves and their ways.
-[X] Organize and coordinate investigations by Miners and Prospectors and collate the information they gather into a unified map
-[X] Gain enough control of your unruly shadow to still it temporarily.
-[X] Attempt to recruit Egrimm van Horstmann into WEB-MAT
--[X] COIN: Gambler
-[X] SERENITY: Write a paper: Daemonic Concealment of Karak Vlag
-[X] PENTHOUSE: Build a basic tower of single-Wind environments for each of the 'missing' Winds: Light, Amber, Amethyst, and Gold

I'm not particularly interested in spending an action on the Lhune Depths, so here's two plans that use it on developing our sword style and exposing AV to Divine Magic respectively, instead.

-[X] Suggest Eike spend a few weeks in Karak Eight Peaks, so she can grow familiar with Dwarves and their ways.
-[X] Branulhune's ability to disappear and reappear at a thought allows entirely new forms of combat. Continue to work on them.
-[X] Investigate the possibility of using one Wind to directly manipulate another.

Sword style is not something I expect to be relevant in the near future, but it's also something that I feel doesn't get any riskier with overwork. And if we get a meh roll, we probably still get some progress instead of outright nothing. And even if its not relevant in the near future, not having to spend another action point on it when it does become necessary would be nice. Also, it's entirely plausible we'll have to fight unexpectedly at some point and can't take a turn to train up our fighting style first.

Exposing AV to Divine Magic interests me more than integrating it with enchantments, and feels less likely to dramatically blow up in our faces due to the -10.

Voting this library location for now, but I definitely want to do more thinking on it.

Switching to this.

EDIT2: Extra approval vote.

Will have to take a look at plans in a little while (once things have been whittled down to a manageable number of alternatives, but in case I forget, the most important vote

[X] [KAU] In Kvinn-Wyr, with an entrance from the Eastern Valley

I don't think that coordinating miners and prospectors is the right choice here, even if we decide to actually do our job. And that's because it is something that a Dwarven Loremaster can do just as well as Mathilde. Bit they very very likely cannot do the type of personal exploring that Mathilde is capable of.
Of course there is the counter-argument that Mathilde has no possible idea what's down there and what to prioritize and that because of that a broad surface exploration by lots of Dwarves makes more sense. And I would agree, if this wasn't our last action on this project. Following the prospecting up with a personal exploration based on what we find as a group would be the most efficient way to do this, but the next Loremaster doesn't have the option to do that type of follow-up.
So I think that an unfocused personal exploration would be better than just saving the next Loremaster a single AP.

P.S.: I once again haven't read all of the discussion since yesterday, so forgive me if others have already made this argument.

Here's what Redshirt said:
I want to leave the job on the highest note we can, and I think this is the option that gets Belegar the most useful information with a single action.
Our skillset isn't really suited for wide-ranging subterranean exploration. It's suited for ranging behind enemy lines. But for just the initial stage of "look around and see what's out there," the comparative advantage we bring to the table is "skill at putting together a lot of individual observations into a cohesive whole" more than any particular skill at reconnaissance.
The most straightforward way to do so would be to wander in there and hope for the best, but you could also try to coordinate the Karak's Miners to perform the investigation and bring the results together into one cohesive map like you did in the Chiselwards during the Battle of Karag Lhune, or you could search for old records of the Lhune Depths that might have survived the fall of Karak Eight Peaks.
Emphasis mine. I'm also 100% fine with playing hooky and smoking cigarettes with the other delinquents, which is why I'm approval voting a bunch of things that spend zero time on our job. But I agree with Redshirt that if we're going to do any of the job actions at all, this is the best one to do in terms of giving Belegar intel.
