[X] Attempt to steal the mammoth from the Baersonlings

A mammoth is not a breeding population of them, but it might give an opportunity to prove that mammoths are practical and worth investing the empire's resources to acquire more of.

Lesson learnt from Abelheim ?
Abelhelm goes by the No-Bark Noonan school of thought.

The Everqueen isn't even his boss. She's Queen of Averlorn, not Saphery.
While 'boss' isn't right, I certainly think she's closer to having authority over him than, say, whoever rules Tiranoc. She's not just the Queen of Averlorn, she's the Everqueen.

(Though their closest connection is probably 'brother's girlfriend')

Honestly, i think the only one nominally in charge of Teclis is Finubar, and Finubar knows better than to tell Teclis what to do.

I'd like to talk to Joerg once before the expedition ends, and doing it this week would be interesting (since we're talking to L-dawg at the same time, and also Ruprecht was just talking about how awesome he is), but it's not that big a deal.

Honestly, the main reason I think we should talk with Asarnil and Deathfang on separate weeks is that the last time we had a scene with both of them... it didn't really seem like we had much chance to talk to either of them directly. I'd really like to talk to Asarnil one on one, and the people talking about how cool Deathfang is seem like they want to talk to them one on one too.

I'll be honest I don't really get the Jeorg hype. all Ruprecht said is 'I bet Jeorg could take this random Norscan chieftain'. What do you guys even expect him to say that is so interesting? The first talks to any of our traveling companions were pretty general expected.

I'd like to find out a little more of his deal and get his perspective on L-dawg, since she's been hanging out with his Knights and she apparently knew him even before then.
"With the Bachór Charodei? Nie. I will stay with the," she waves a hand at the nearby Knights, "leshiye towarzysz. Kovnik Joerg is sensible." She nods as if that settles everything and walks away.
I think socialing the two of them on the same turn might have useful synergy, and that socialing Asarnil and Deathfang last time was anti-synergistic. That's all; I don't feel super strongly about it.

Would he be inclined to share any particular perspective on literally the first social action we use on him? By comparison Horstman on his first action was not sharing anything of that nature.
It probably depends on the person. Michel and Cyrston were quite forthcoming on their first social actions, for instance. Joerg knows we've been doing stuff with L-dawg, so I think it's pretty likely he'd say something about her, or that we'd ask (especially if we were meeting with them on the same turn).

Wasn't he described as a quiet thoughtful man. He does not seems like one to gab and gossip, especially about holy women

We could, you know, bring up the topic ourself

We do not have that degree of granular control over Mathilde's actions.

Ah, that's a good point.
Quiet: Unless the topic is beasts or battle, Joerg rarely has much to say.
Yeah, bummer, I'd forgotten about that.
not that I feel strongly about it either way; but that is a very, very, dichotomous argument.
...yes? I didn't care for the last Asarnil+Deathfang conversation; I felt talking to both of them at once went poorly. In contrast, we've had other "talk to one person about a thing and then talk to another person in the same turn" conversations that were obviously synergistic, like when we talked to Snorri and Borek on the same turn. So, yeah, there is, empirically, a dichotomy: not all pairwise combinations are created equal.

Maybe this time we'll talk to both of them separately? Shrug.
