[ ] Use Rite of Way to ease the ascent
[ ] Investigate the 'Windfall' with the Light Wizards
[ ] Citharus, Barbitus, and Timpania
[ ] Journeyman Cyrston von Danling

Here's what I'm thinking. We told Horstmann that we'd keep an eye on his ducklings, and I don't want him thinking we're skipping out on that, given how sus we've been in other ways. I also want to poke Cyrston, to complete the circuit of all the people directly under our lead.

Investigating the Windfall sounds very neat and ties into our windsight, and this is literally the reason we designed the Rite of Way.

These are my choices, let´s check the leaders of the knights and let´s put our battlemagic and windsight to good use.

[ ] Preceptor Joerg von Zavstra
[ ] Sir Ruprecht Wulfhart the Younger

Hmm, the Windfall does sort of double up as spending time with the Light Wizards...

"It should have been two at most," he grumbles. "The four-wheel design would have had us halfway back to Karak Kadrin by now, as long as every road on the way was solid and perfectly maintained stone at no more than a three degree incline. I should have pushed back more against the sort of Grandmasters that haven't seen the sun since they were Apprentices, but there was trouble enough with me being appointed Head Engineer and having to relocate the project would have ended it there and then. Even though the only reason it was me and not one of them was because none of them would do it."

Okay is anyone else here extremely amused that what Gotrek describes here is basically a dwarven rail locomotive?

Given a Certain WoG and all. XD

Gotrek apparently takes this as an unvoiced question. "My wife is Clanless. My Clan wouldn't allow her to join it in marriage, so I left it."

You consider the offer that Gotri said he's willing to extend. "Do you regret it?"

He shakes his head firmly. "I regret that they made it necessary. Never my response."
That sounds like Gotrek would be receptive to Gotri's offer unlike Snorri who seems to be happy in Clan Redbeard.

I am sus of green. Not sure what I want for slot #4.

You nod, impressed at such an efficient solution at such short notice. "Very efficient. Nothing's wasted."

He snorts and folds his arms. "Of course. We aren't making it home if we get in the habit of wasting."
A nice and practical Dwarf, this Gotrek.

Also, he stands by his principles. I think we easily could invite him to the K8P, and he'd be happy to accept.

My current leanings

We're getting close to the time for our little side-trip aren't we?

[ ] Scouting near the convoy
- With the Winter Wolves

We know there're Tzeentchian demons nearby and Chaos Dwarves have been marching here very recently. Far scouting is good, but Tzeentchian demons are unlikely to be spotted unless they're close, and I don't want them slipping past us.

[ ] Use Rite of Way to ease the ascent
- Will only be necessary during the roughest patches

Literally what it was made for.

[ ] Investigate the 'Windfall' with the Light Wizards
- Where the Winds blowing from the north descend to ground level, which is only know to happen in mountainous terrain: here, the Mountains of Mourne, the Goromadny Mountains, and nothern Norsca.

I really want to get a look at this. There's no real practical reason in the short term, but it's something that'd normally cost a whole AP worth of time due to the distance, and we currently have a significant group of magi to compare notes with.

[ ] Use Rite of Way to ease the ascent
This is what we invented it for.

[ ] Journeyman Cyrston von Danling
[ ] Journeywoman Alexandra Kohler
Cover more of our underlings...

[ ] Citharus, Barbitus, and Timpania
[ ] Investigate the 'Windfall' with the Light Wizards
... And either our underling's underlings or the fascinating thing they're going to look at. For magical Science!

[ ] Use Rite of Way to ease the ascent
It's what we invested overwork in for.

In order:

We made the spell to use it,
Magic research is cool, plus more time with suspicious light wizards,
We haven't talked to Wolfhart yet, and we can here more about how E&S are doing,
And Green is definitely Sus.

@BoneyM, what was it you had in mind of we rolled a 6?

Anyhow. On to the vote.

Will be necessary to speed up the journey. It also needs proper field-testing.

[ ] Scout the lands of the Iron Wolves
Better to know if they're coming.

[ ] Investigate the 'Windfall' with the Light Wizards

This one doubles up as social interaction with the lights. I'm game for this.

Other than that, I'm likely thinking about the different scouting actions with the Taalites and the Winter Wolves.

Windfall, barring us going rogue, is likely to be a once in a lifetime chance for us, so I figure it's worth it if only for the uniqueness.

I'm thinking of compromising between council members and subordinates, one each.

The tithe? I think we can get around that due to paying off that debt since it's not an income.
No, because LMs don't tithe. It's 10% for Journeymen, 5% for Magister, and 0% for Lord Magister. That's one of the few perks we didn't already effectively have(though she's already so rich it doesn't matter).

Incidentally, we should totally take a "throw money at the Bursar" action.
Mathilde really has a hard life. Gold just keeps piling up if she doesn't constantly fight it.
