I'm going to commission Panoramia and Matildha together. But I'm a little unsure what color Panoramia's hair is. I checked and couldn't find it anywhere. Does blond and brown eyes sound good overall for her?
Panpan's hair colour has never been nailed down but blonde, brown, red or green would all be appropriate for her order. Black would be rarer but not unheard of.

I admit I always picture it as green with green eyes. Cause well, I might be a little biased.

So its a toss up between blond or ginger+freckles to me.

I've always thought Panoramia had brown or reddish brown hair, for whatever reason. But I think you're right, it's just a mental image I've assumed, rather than being stated anywhere.

I believe green hair is a possible Ghyran Arcane Mark, so even if she doesn't have green hair now, Future Panoramia certainly could.
(Edit: No, it's actually green skin.)
You've got this other chunk of description, at least.
I'm not great at questions like this because I don't really have a mental image of characters, I have a sort of cloud of traits and skills and foibles and goals with a nametag. I guess it'd boil down to something like: robes, boots when she's working or hiking, sandals when she's not, silver sickle in her belt, tanned arms and face, fit, about five foot even. Long hair that's tied back when she remembers to, a staff that takes root of its own accord so it's normally standing upright somewhere near her. A satchel on her side full of well-cushioned pockets for holding flasks and bottles that are usually full of soil and plant samples.

But if any of the above disagrees with anyone's mental image, feel free to keep your own.

I guess I've been imagining her as a druid in my head and my mental image of a celtic druid is youthful, light skinned, light brown hair, possibly with freckles.

Basically my plan is to visit the combes now, visit Uzkulak on the way back to K8P and scout it out, then spend a turn preparing: learning all we can about religious doctrine, Ranaldism, buying useful books, and getting in touch with Ranaldites around the Empire. Between our friend who helped us melt down that statue, the Empress, and maybe the Gray College, I'm sure we can come into contact with someone who could manage a spy network/resistance/religious organization.

Then we finally head to Uzkulak, work with our new friend to get things established, maybe spend an action on the following 1-2 turns as well to do work there, and then our new friend will continue managing this little subversive organization while also being our contact within Uzkulak. We can go to them for information on the goings on in Uzkulak, and they can do things like request supplies from us when needed.

...Also, on Panoramia's hair, I personally thought of it as green. But I can totally see browns and reds and such working too. Earthy colors, indeed.

RL ambassadors, are chosen not solely for their diplomacy stat, but also (and that often weighs more) from their knowledge of the other culture and its politics and their contacts in it. People would have to be stupid not to ant to appoint Mathilde as Ambassador to the Karaz Ankor, mediocre diplomacy or no.
Oddly, she'd be a bad diplomat not because of her diplomacy score, but because of her Divided Loyalties. The first thing a Diplomat needs to do is put their country first.

...So it occurs to me that while everybody has been so focused on guessing who this source of undoubtably repute is, we've overlooked something important. Namely, what the fuck sort of "confidential information" could be told that results in this sort of grudge. Because whatever it is seems to be the direct cause of this, and anything that is not just someone saying "Mathilde Weber has the soul of a dwarf" seems like it would require a very convoluted thought process to get a grudge against Ranald at the end. Hell, even that seems kinda crazy.
So my guess is the Chair. We know it's hooked up to the Waystone Network, so Thorgrim would almost instantly sense that Karag Vlag was back. And it getting that added Juice is enough to add back some of its functions, which might include a way to notify Thorgrim that a dwarven soul was missing (it would probably list a lot of souls missing, but the ones from chaos are already grudged and not news. That exactly one is missing because Ranald would be news).

we've been explicitly told not to count on being able to visit places on the way back, so since we can visit Uzkulak now, we should do what we need to do there now. We are a Grey wizard, surely we can Illusion ourselves to look like some local Spartacus long enough that we can spread the word.

...Why would the Throne have a list of Dwarven souls that never made it to Gazul's realm, let alone one listing exactly who took them? That seems more like the concern of the Ancestor Gods than the High King, not to mention just a generally weird thing to have. Unless, like, he turned on the Sally Port of Gazul and it let the God himself lodge a complaint or something.

If that's the case, then I still don't want to start this project of spreading Ranaldism in Uzkulak now while we are unprepared and have an Expedition to take care of. We can instead visit and scout Uzkulak on that prep turn I mentioned.

So we fixed the Dwarf Waystone network even more. Man I can't wait for Mathilde's next meeting with Thorgrim. We're finally gonna get the recognition for everything we've done for the Dwarfs since Sylvania.
