The "Other Titles" are really just nicknames and probably wouldn't be used at all on formal occasions. I doubt they have a strict order of precedence in any case; whoever's using them will do so as they please, but after the official titles.

If Tolkein has taught me anything, you use all the other titles when you're bragging to a dragon!

Hey, @BoneyM, just checking; are we going to be waiting on the results of the skull river thing until we definitely lock-in the Protector next turn? (Sorry if this was already covered.)

Also, a question for the thread (I recall @picklepikkl expressing a desire to be tagged in these instances?): I know that our current understanding of necromancy in the thread is that it uses shyish to manipulate dhar without interacting with it personally, which functions as the basis for our belief in the possibility of tongs. However, I am unsure where this originated from, and some canon materials I am perusing (quite vaguely) seem to suggest a focus on direct manipulation of the black wind for the most part, along with several thematic spells that occasionally touch upon the lore of death; i.e not purple wielding black, but black wielded as if it were purple, (and sometimes perhaps a corrupt mixture of the two?).

Can anybody tell me which book we're getting our lore from on that, or if it's a quest specific thing? I'm not saying that it isn't how it works, but I'm going through a lot of books trying to get more information on Shyish, Necromancy, and Nehekhara and such and I'd like to know if there's any reference material for it.

(A useless but interesting factoid obtained from this research already: The Chaos Gods are apparently 100% willing to hand out magic power to any ghost who wants to mess with people, absolutely free, like a soup line for evil spirits. This neatly explains why all those evil or unpleasant people are able to cause so much more havoc as a ghost than they were as an angry clerk or whatever).

We've already locked-in the Protector for this turn. And the events of the interlude happened during this turn, not next turn.
[*] Plan: SQUEAK, Panoramia variant
-[*] MAX: Have him scour all the reference materials at his disposal for any other Dhar-radiating explosive, as well as how difficult it might be for non-Skaven to replicate their blackpowder. (NEW)
-[*] JOHANN: Have him investigate the metal evidence taken from the Skull River ambush. (NEW)
-[*] DUCK: Work with Panoramia to try to implement the Waaaghsoak Mushrooms as an aid to spellcasting.
-[*] EIC: Have the Hochlander investigate how feasible it would be for a non-Skaven to acquire warpstone-enhanced blackpowder. (NEW)
-[*] Attempt to complete your 'Fog Path' spell (NEW-ish)
-- [*] Use overwork if necessary
-[*] Join the Karag Dum Expedition in Praag, rather than at High Pass.
-[*] PENTHOUSE: Add security measures to your Penthouse to prevent forcible entry.
-[*] The Protector

I don't remember where and how Mathilde got that title "The Silver Savage". Can someone remind me?

The windsoak mushrooms might make for a valuable trade export. Especially to places with low amounts of Wind such as Araby.

I could easily see Karak Eight Peaks Celestial tea being pretty desirable either as a magical aid or something to help bring about a peaceful and contemplative mindset.

@BoneyM, is the Celestial mushroom tea pleasant to drink or does it retain the sliminess post-rehydration?

Edit: Also how long do the Ulgu pies stay good for after cooking?

We can now mass-produce Powerstones-lite, perfect for giving yourself a temporary boost when you need to blow up an enemy formation. That's the kind of thing you literally always want to have on hand Just In Case, the way we have that Ulgu powerstone and could have (if we'd thought of it) used to make our rescue operation safer. The way Mathilde just casually made up a huge pile of mushroom tea for Hubert shows exactly how I expect most magisters to react when they're kitting out their journeymen: Relatively cheap and super useful.

The best part? Once you set up an appropriately wind-rich environment for the mushrooms to grow, you can probably make them without substantial spellcaster intervention. And when you do have the wizard support, you can apparently crank out batches in days.

TL;DR Investing a few AP in setting up production of these could probably give us a consistent stream of a few CF a turn. Or Panoramia could make a mad load of dosh, that's also an option. :p

I can't wait for a Skyrim moment when a Grey Journeyman starts wolfing down dozens of pies midbattle to replenish his magicka Ulgu reserves.

I wonder what a proper Hysh waaaghshroom recipe would be like? Mushroom-flavored ice cream?

Imagine how Cython might react to a giant bowl of *Hysh*-infused ice cream.

"And as a dragon, it is a matter of great regret that I cannot hunt and eat light. We can never satisfy every facet of our nature."
It isn't quite literal light and we haven't gotten the hunting part down but I think they'll be pleased.

inb4 the "Poly dragon romance y/n" thing ends up happening again because Panoramia's milkshake brings all the emperor hysh dragons to the greenhouse.
