I'd really love it if a Grey Journeyman decides that this is the opportunity to learn from the fastest current rising star of his Order. Especially if said Journeyman is exactly the right mix of pestering and endearing to split Mathilde's opinion on him both IC and OOC (i.e. the player base).

Boney clearly has a good sense of how to write out realistic romances tastefully, which means this is an incredibly rare opportunity to see a more grounded fictional poly relationship. I'm curious and enthused for that. That being said, @BoneyM for all that it seems committing to a given course ahead of time is necessary for thread civility I think I speak for more than just myself when I say that you should feel free to take the romance results at the pace you deem appropriate. If that means the end result of this vote doesn't happen for several updates (possibly even after the expedition) that would be perfectly okay with me.

Essentially, please don't feel as if you need to rush or cut short relationship arcs just because the thread couldn't handle the voting meta-structure that would work best for it - I'd prefer if you just scribbled down the end state to take note of where this was going and drip-fed us the results piecemeal as they happened.

Exactly. Nepotism is bad today, but it's nothing compared to medieval times. She wants to pass it to family no matter what, and if we want the company to remain on the straight and narrow, it behooves us to check up on the kid and make sure she's not as spoiled and greedy as her uncles.

@BoneyM, my reading of Fog Path is that it works by detecting variation, it can travel over a ditch by looking at the center(air) and then looking around it (dirt) and by detecting the difference it knows to activate Skywalk. My question is how big of a gap does this apply to? At what span does a gap need to be for Fog Path perceive center(air) surrounded by air as opposed to center(air) surrounded by dirt?

Second question, what would Fog Path look like? Would it be literally standing on fog or would travellers be standing on the ground/air/water/whatever with a layer of fog obscuring their ground and feet?

I'm sorry, but I'm just not feeling the romantic relationship with dragon thing. Maybe if Mathilde does transcend her humanity and all that, eventually... but Pan seems like a pretty damn good partner for someone who hasn't transcended humanity, and that's Mathilde right now.

Though I still think Anton would have been a great choice. :(

I'm very curious about Qrech right now. I mean, he must surely have ambitions that he expects to achieve besides being a bookworm. Does he really expect to get out? Will we be able to corrupt him into following Ranald?

Also he is not in Dramatis Personae for some reason?
