F for Johann's brainmeats and the shit we put them through.

[X] Send it to the Colleges as a potentially useful trinket
Let's give it to Roswita, let her be slightly less terrified every time she is in the same Province as a battle wizard.
I think she's more worried about miscasts than she is about splash damage from actual spells.

- Feel free to suggest other potential recipients of the Cathayan Jet. Because of its nature, it is useless to Wizards and Divine casters. Because of cultural mistrust, it is unlikely to be appreciated by Dwarves.
...

[X] Have it ward Abelhelm van Hal's tomb

There are necromancers other than ourselves out there.

EDIT: Wait no, I misread it, this doesn't work.

Well thats an unfortunate turn. Good results on the papers, but the Moulder books were worthless, Johann's been butting his head against a impossible to use gun for years, and the magical gem we got is generally useless to the forces of order.

- Grants College Favour

Ok this trinket only works aginast magic from the colleges/forces of order and none of the really evil magic users out there. We should send it to the college and gain favors since we are going to try for a assistant or it is just a good idea to bank favors.

It won't protect her from an angry Necromancer, but it's perfect for someone who's going to be sick of all the wizardly weirdness.

The ratling gun research is at least going to provide us with countermeasures, so it wasn't all bad.
You pen your notes and sketch a few charts of the full workings of the device, as well as jot down a few ideas on how one might throw a wrench into the works.

Ratling Gun mechanism and countermeasures (FRESH) (can be written by Johann)
That seems like a reasonable thing for him to do next turn.

Hmmm that description of how warpstone is used in the ratling gun...

Guys i think we need to take those powerstone creation courses.

"Hi! I remembered you were scared of magic so here's this magic thing to keep you safe from the magics!"

"Oh Sigmar what did Da ever see in you..."

Ranald and Shallya have a headstart in the race to be the best Aunt/Uncle figures, gotta make some catch up strides!

A talisman that's completely useless against the forms of magic that are most likely to be used to ruin someone's day with?

How ass-backwards is that? It's at it's best against legitimate magic users--but not the most dangerous legitimate magic users.
