[X] Plan Exam Time
-[X] Use your newly-acquired blacksmithing gear to lure in a skilled but poor blacksmith to begin servicing the area. (no action required) (NEW)
-[X] Build a communal granary to store food for lean times (50 gc).
--[X] Hire a manager
-[X] Build a well (50 gc).
--[X] Hire a manager

-[X] Internalized Lessons: If you've been using a particular trait a fair bit in the last year, you can spend some time on it to internalize what you've learned and increase the trait (choose which trait; can be taken multiple times; will be more effective the more you've used the trait lately).
--[X] Piety

-[X] There's always room for more shadow spells in your repertoire. Send off to the Grey College for the basics on one of the others and get started on trying to learn it.
--[X] Doppelganger
--[X] Eye of the Beholder

-[X] Free Time: Now well-established in Wurtbad, you can spend some time in your scant off hours getting to know someone better. Pick one character. (does not take an action)
--[X] Anton

-[X] Go to Altdorf and submit yourself to the Magisterial examination. (takes three actions, will take place after other actions in the turn)
--[X] Ranald's Blessing

Small PSA on plan formatting:
[X]Plan we All Grow Up.
[X] Use your newly-acquired blacksmithing gear to... <snip>
Not to pick on you personally, just using recent example as this is a recurring issue in the thread, but plans should be formatted as follows for automatic tallying:

[*] Headline
-[*] Item 1
-[*] Item 2
-[*] Item 3
The dashes are important.

You've put several un-indented items with just [*] in front, the tally bot will count those separately, and votes for your plan name will only count the things that are -[*] under the plan-heading itself. Which in this case is nothing, as you start a new heading immediately afterwards.
Also, you've got several sub-items by the same name (hire a manager) which will further confuse the bot.
Here's how I would format this:

-[X] Imbue an item with a petty or lesser magic. (specify item and spell) (NEW)
--[X] Imbue your old pistol, with the lesser spell Blessed Weapon. Try and make the spell, stick, possibly recharge.
-[X] Your experience with the so-called Fog of War has given you a lot of ideas for new applications of Ulgu. Investigate them to see what might be possible.

I also disagree with your plan, but that's a separate matter. Lightening the QM's load by making tallying automatic is a common good.

(Just so it's clear: I'm writing * instead of X here so the bot doesn't interpret my formatting example as a plan. Plans should have X in their brackets, not *.)

I will vote for no plan that doesn't do the shrine rebuild. Wolf deserves at least that much.

--[*] Intrigue

What intrigue actions recently are you looking to learn from? I could very well be misremembering but there doesn't seem to have been much recently.

Edit: Yep, I had somehow forgotten the whole 'dismantling of the web of intrigue that held you and your Master in its web' thing.

[X] Plan Enchanting Exam
-[X] Imbue an item with a petty or lesser magic. (specify item and spell)
--[X] Spell: Glowing Light
--[X] Item: Gemstone
-[X] Qhaysh Juice: Whatever it is, it's dripping out of the box at a steady rate. You've got several gallons of the stuff and it's still coming out. It's got to be good for something.

A desk light seems like an appropriate start for enchantment.

-[X] 6. You'll have a cat, damn it. Spend time with the alley cats of Wurtbad and see what you can find. (low chance)

If the dwarf options take actions disregard them.

-[X] Free Time: Now well-established in Wurtbad, you can spend some time in your scant off hours getting to know someone better. Pick one character. (does not take an action)

I choose Kasmir over Anton since we parted on bad terms and I would like the chance to clear the air.

[X] Plan cramming before exams
-[X] Use your newly-acquired blacksmithing gear to lure in a skilled but poor blacksmith to begin servicing the area. (no action required) (NEW)

-[X] Imbue an item with a petty or lesser magic. (specify item and spell) (NEW)

-[X] Go to Altdorf and submit yourself to the Magisterial examination. (takes three actions, will take place after other actions in the turn)

--[X] Kasmir
-[X] Erect a shrine to Ranald in honour of his victory over Stromfels, and of Wolf's sacrifice that made it possible. (NEW)
-[X] Hire manager to oversee following improvements
--[X] Build a communal granary to store food for lean times (75 gc).
--[X] Build a well (75 gc).

Blacksmith: it is a no-brainer.
Exams: I think it's time for exams, and of course exams get the blessing.
Spells: Invisibility may be very useful during Magister duel.
Enchantment: Always present chainmail-grade protection is very useful thing to have in general. If we fuck up, we don't lose an expensive and/or very useful item.
Free time: I want to see how Kasmir overcame his crisis of faith. Is he still Sigmarite, or did he find another god?
Improvements: We will have to do these ones sooner or later with any plan and no one will vote to spend actions on that ever, so they will be built with manager's overhead anyway, so I want to start early to demonstrate our efforts to bursars. I am undecided on bailey - maybe we should do that one too (although if dwarven prospectors roll 100 and find large gold deposites or gromril or whatever we might want to build dwarven fortress instead).
Shrine: well, it is a shrine?

Hey @BoneyM I was under the impression that our Palace-Shrine was completely excavated. Are these vote options a mistake?

Home Comforts: Your Palace-Shrine is bursting with potential. And also mud.
[ ] Diggy Diggy Hole, Remixed: You're getting sick of having workmen tramping in and out of your abode. Recruit an entire team and personally oversee them to clear out all of the reachable portions of the Palace-Shrine and be done with it. (-100 gc)
[ ] Diggy Diggy Hole, Dwarf: You could call in some favours and get the entire place cleaned out with dwarven reticence and expertise (-20 gc for ale, -2 Dwarf Favours) (NEW)

[X] Plan Fief, Money, and Power
[X] Plan Red
Fuck stromfels

Guys, I understand the mechanical benefits, but I feel a little...skeevy, about using Ranald's Blessing for our Magisterial test. It's not really a passing grade if we need our god's help to pass.

The turn before that we finished up vampiric conspirancy that had us on the leash for six years. There were a couple of good Intrigue rolls for hunting one of the ladies involved, but there are some lessons in the event itself too.

@BoneyM, can we ask which actions require rolls and which don't? For example, building granary doesn't seem like it will involve rolling, but what about building shrine?

For those of you choosing to learn spells to try and reach the next rank of magic (assuming 2 spells needed to reach rank 5). I'll give you the probabilities of success (based on our 58% chance of success) of reaching magic 5.

1 spell learning action: 0% of success.
2 spell learning action: 34% of success.
3 spell learning action: 62% of success.
4 spell learning action: 80% of success.
5 spell learning action: 90% of success.
6 spell learning action: 95% of success.
7 spell learning action: 98% of success.

Wolf lets out an impressed whistle as you lead him into the alley. "Don't know what you've done, but I'm liking the energies here." Getting them down the ladder is trickier, but you manage. And then, finally, you release them from their blindfolds in the alley outside the Shrine, and they blink and peer around them into the darkness, lit by a glowing orb of light you summoned. Heideck steps through the doorway, takes a look inside, and steps out again. "Found your problem."

I laughed.

And in a single bloody instant, Wolf disappears from the waist up and gore sprays across the room, snatched up by the jaws of a hungry God. You're unable to keep from flinching away in horror, but Heideck's prayers redouble in strength as the terrible God is occupied with Wolf's mortal remains.

Then I was sad.

You enter the room on unsteady feet as Heideck gets to his own. As he turns to you, you open your mouth to say something, thanks or an apology or something, and he holds up a hand to interrupt. There's tears in his eyes but a smile on his face. "Many die in debt to Ranald, but very few die with Ranald in debt to them. His new home in the afterlife will be grand indeed."

If we do end up leaving Wurtbad, leaving the sunken palace in Heideck's care seems fitting.

Omake idea:
Mathilda is out searching for a familiar-grade cat, when she spots one that might fit the bill.
She follows it into an alleyway, where she finds it sitting smugly next to (or maybe on top of) a wolf that would be just perfect as a familiar.
