Patient(or better name?): The best battle is one you never need to fight. +intrigue, +diplomacy.

Warrior of Fog carried the fight, but not foghting the dragon or most of the skaven was the only way we survived.

As I understand it, we Johann and Mathilde got a gas mask each?

If so, can we put the gas mask somewhere out of the way in Ranald's temple?

I mean, that did go rather well overall, and it would be fitting imo :)

@BoneyM have you rolled for losses yet?

@BoneyM, now that we've hit 100 Dwarf rep, do we have the most Dwarf rep of any living human? And did we hit the next level of respect? I recall that some people in Tobaro were in the 90s.

It just occurred to me to wonder why the liquifactioned soil boiling was important. As opposed to just being scorchingly hot but not boiling

Anyway, I just want to thank you @BoneyM for running this thoroughly enjoyable quest. It's really been a highlight of my day when I see you updated

Okay, we are calling the Celestial college and divining the everliving shit of that Warboss.

There is no way we can let an orc that knows when to fight get away.

Some kind of unconventional diplomacy trait?

After all, we made friends with Kragg, talked to 2 Skaven, a Dragon, some spiders,...

I think there should be some sort of Grand Thief or Raider type trait under Personal Traits. Maybe something that improves infiltration and stealth? Something to help with picking out or even finding choicier bits of loot? Doesn't even need mortal restrictions, construing it as a Blessing of Ranald at this point would be hilariously easy.

Something to reflect our numerous and unanimously successful excursions into enemy territory.

Through the dim light of the tunnel, you can see the glint of eyes staring back down at you with more intelligence than most would give a greenskin credit for, and you can see the waning Waaagh that centers on him. Warboss Birdmuncha.

[Rolling...]

"Zog that," he says, his voice a low rumble that reverberates through the cave, and then he's gone.
Aw ... I was hoping for an epic final battle where Grombrindal would finally get to do something.

On the other hand, this was appropriately anti-climatic for a campaign built around anti-climaxes. At least we're getting a reoccurring antagonist out of this!

A Grand Theft trait would indeed be appropriate, given how the last battle was kicked off. Perhaps even s supernatural/meta one that reflects Ranald fiddling the dice about loot rolls.

If drek is ambition/undertaking, drekked might be completed undertaking?

Edit: so the full title would be completed the expedition for the Silver depths?

@BoneyM

perhaps a trait to reflect Mathildes growing understanding of being able to use fault lines and fulcrum points to achieve effects way out of proportion to the investment in action/energy. Not sure what that would do mechanically and not to bothered by that either.
