[X] The campaign is over, but your duty to Stirland remains. Go home to Wurtbad.

The downside of this option is that Van Hal was implied to be keeping the Witcher Hunters on a short leash, and without them they'll probably become involved, which is an issue due to Mathilde being a mage. Also there are still loads of monsters within Sylvania so it is best to quite while we're ahead, and not become stuck in an undead quagmire.

A cheer arises from some thirty-five thousand throats, and you find that yours is not among them.

It's over.
First and foremost, Mathilde needs a hug.

Wilhelmina and Anton should be able to provide
if not, then what good is that 8/10 and 9/10 relation?

Kind of want to take the opportunity to join Asarnil on his travels for a while, that might be pretty fun and he has taken a liking to us, so he might allow it.

But on the other hand... Abdelheims kids.

Not so much loot it as make sure no nasties remain there.

Could the dwarves perhaps scout for yet-unseen tunnels or such?

Now would be a pretty good time to keep this Purging Ball rolling...

It really wouldn't, because you've lost half the men you started with and the leader who started it and all the wizards but you. Finishing his stated intention is one thing, taking the already-exhausted men on a rampage against the countryside on your own say-so is quite another. Even Alexander the Great ran out of steam and had to head home eventually, and Mathilde is no Alexander the Great.

And the vote last turn was to decide when the siege of Drakenhof would be successful, and the vote was to destroy the castle. The mountain the castle was built upon was not part of the target. Going after it now would be to move the finish line.

[X] The campaign is over, so your duty to Abelhelm is done. What else is there? Leave. Pack your snake-in-a-box, pack your equipment, pack your savings, pack the Liber Mortis, and go somewhere else.

[X] The new Elector Count will have his own ideas about their preferred spymistress. Perhaps you'll nominate Julia, if he's accepting suggestions. But your taste for politics has soured. You'll settle down in Wurtbad or your noble-given lands and put out your shingle as a wizard, and see what business comes your way. You'll have time to catch up on your reading, at least...

Getting to stay in Stirland but not have the yoke of 'spymaster' around your neck like a millstone? That's the stuff.

[] Appoint yourself the new Elector Countess. Who will stop you?

I know QM doesn't want to go full CK2, but I'm temped to argue for this. It's not like we couldn't pull it off, after all this, and be basically legitimate enough politically.

We've invested so much in Stirland.

This was extremely satisfying, on so many different levels.

@BoneyM - what about those other opportunities we could of had throughout this part of the quest, such as searching the Shyish labyrinth cavern or the Van Hal historic place? Also, you previously mentioned options with regards to Drakhenoff Town; can we still do our mage scan of the population to see if they have a dhar latice? Also in general set up an administration there as we shouldn't abandon it, particularly if there's going to be a dwarven bridge going to it.

Also I wouldn't mind if the wandering option involved travelling with Asarnil.

Either this or Wurtbad, and since that is already winning I'll go for this.

We've got a lab and a sunken house in Wurtbad along with our network and the trading company.

Go full ronin, you know you want to!

[X] First Things First: Go to Wurtbad, have a good cry, and get some hugs. Decide what to do with your life later.
