Great update @BoneyM. Amazing performance by Mathilde there as well.

Any mechanical effects we as players are aware of with that new trait?

Also I just realized, people have talked about how we have generals but this is Stirland where the Marshal himself ony has base martial of ten, can we realy be sure any of the remaining generals is actualy better than us ?

Our fighting-with-swords Martial is pretty good. But, strip away the skill-bonuses like fitness, pistol and Greatsword that don't help in commanding armies, we're down to what, 11? If a few other non-leadership traits don't apply either, we drop even further.

My idea of 'taking command' is just to spread the word to organise more of a hunt for Kasmir.

Guys we basically only have 6 or 7 martial when not being a beatstick so I really implore you guys to not have an emotional Mathilde try and lead an entire army.

[X] By Van Hal's side. Whatever happens.

Maybe we should send for the priest (or the light-wizard, who can apparently heal?)

I don't see any reason why blooded, interrogator, or practical would lose effectiveness on a large scale, so that puts us at 10, and brave is debatable for 11.

That said, the points about the wound and our mental state are good.

Did we not try for the healer wizards? I thought we had tried for the healer ones.

I think the only plan that included the Jade Order was my Mostly Wizards plan. I'm pretty sure @veekie mentioned them, but ended up voting for something else instead of making his own vote like usual.

[X] Somewhere in that town-turned-battlefield is Brother Kasmir. Leave Van Hal's side. Find him. Sigmar will heal Van Hal.

I feel like Mathilde's been optimistic and reckless enough in the past for this to be the most in-character option. I don't particularly care if the Drakenhof attack is successful, and that's the only other thing I can think of that might influence my decision.

We are not qualified to command an army in any way, let the generals take care of it.

Well, Light Wizards can apparantly heal well enough (with a Simple healing spell which heals a bit, or a Fiendishly Complex one that heals everything @Blonddude42), if we can spot him against the sea of bleached bones. The main difference with Jades might be how many we had, and where they'd be deployed, but we're well into the realm of maybes by this point. Aside from that, looking at the spell list, I'm not sure why the Light wizards were such a popular choice.

I'm pretty sure +1 from Greatsword and Pistol still apply: we know enough about swords and firearms to be able to predict how use relevant troops in large-scale battle. Still, wounds are wounds.

He isn't bleeding. Stomach wounds usually kill through sepsis (or by damaging aorta, but he isn't bleeding, so that's not it), it is not a very fast process. He isn't to going to die right now, so odds are that Kasmir or Light wizard can heal him after the battle (or even earlier, we sent for the wizard already), so trying to find Kasmir is dangerous and likely pointless. Mathilde is no great general even while healthy, so taking command in her state isn't a great idea either. Dhar is non-option and suicide-by-skeletons is like finding Kasmir only with more risk and no gain. That leaves standing by his side and guarding him from infiltrators. It is unlikely that there would be infiltrators, but at least that option will not get us killed.

One thing I want to know is this: where was fucking Markus and his fucking Greatswords? Guarding Elector count is their job description, but somehow when he needed it, the only human with greatsword in sight was Mathilde.

@BoneyM can we include a vote to call upon our Shadowhorse? I think riding it to Kasimir and scooping him up might be a bit quicker.

The first challenge is that we have no idea where Kasmir is, other than 'probably in the town'.

If Mathilde doesn't automatically use Shadowsteed, she has a good enough reason we shouldn't force her to.
I was a little disappointed we didn't do our Shadow-Centaur-Rider thing into battle. It's got a nice Martial buff, too.

Oh, I think Mathilde will have words for Marcus and the Greatswords.
