Yeah, our problem wasn't that we were insufficiently killy, it's that our infiltration package is weaker than it should be.

Regimand told us to get Invisibility like two years ago. We need to go to college and get more knowledge.

Right, I remembered that it was a pun on Hazkal (recently brewed ale, or a fiery young warrior) and uzkul (bones, death); from the dead lineage of the Clanless, a new clan of great promise was born. I have good memory for puns and so when there wasn't a pun, I noticed.

(Also IIRC you got membership in the new clan either by participating in the battles up to the taking of Karag Lhune or by helping carry the bodies afterwards, so it works on that level too).

I think hitting high value targets like any artillery, opening gates, and killing the warboss right at the start of the battle is our best bet.

Making the armies job as easy as possible is the most efficient route available her imo.

A lot of stuff could have made this encounter somewhat easier.

The dead simple +1 magic would've made our not hard enuff aetheric armor stronger, for example.

Miscast emergency services may needed. Additionally, it would be, to me at least, really cool to see Mathilde just duckling managing in an active combat zone.

There is never actually going to be a thing as being too killy for mooks to threaten us, as we just learned: bad dice luck can kill us regardless of stats. So yeah, better strategy and maybe some support units rather than more items is my vote.

Yup. If we roll well, we can finish out our remaining non-Battle spellbook in 2 Actions - I'm down for spending a bunch of actions in Altdorf this turn and next turn, to finish it up and grab some of the classes we want - Powerstones and Ritual Magic, etc.

So, by my understanding the Orcs are currently caught up in a four-way civil war, with two of the leaders being about average and two being pretty incompetent. @BoneyM, is that accurate?
