[X] Plan 2 wizards
-[X] Recruit Panoramia
-[X] Recruit Maximilian

[X] Disdain for Sigmar > Polytheist: Your bitterness towards Sigmar has softened with time and distance. You're still not thrilled with him, but as long as his followers are coexisting with those of other Gods, you can deal with it. +1 Piety, removes anti-Sigmarite penalty except when dealing with Sigmarite supremacists and monotheists.
[x] Wolf Familiar > Winter Wolf Familiar: Turns out Wolf is a late bloomer. Wolf will grow large enough to ride upon.

[X] Leave the EIC alone

[X] Avatar: You're growing worryingly familiar with being used as a conduit by deities. ???
[X] Windreader > Windsage: Your magical senses see more than your normal ones. +2 Learning, even more able to see and understand emotion and magical effects in others.
[X] Bureaucrat + Practical > Warrior of Paperwork: Scholarship is just a specific form of paperwork. You can live with it. Combines the two traits, +2 Learning, remove penalty to writing papers yourself.
[X] Magical Duellist: Anyone unwise enough to try to cast spells you don't want them to will quickly regret it. +2 Learning, +10 bonus to dispelling and inducing miscasts.

[X] Return it with your thanks to the Bright College. +2 College Favour.

IF we want to go the theurgy route, then Avatar is likely to be a big help whilst I'm sad to miss out on a lot of amazing traits ultimate the choice has to be pared down Magical duelist would absolutely be my third choice if there was such a thing as it's pretty incredible especially when paired with the waaaghbane.

These are definitely the traits I want. We want to do a bunch of research, and the penalty to writing papers will be a constant annoyance. Meanwhile, making ourselves an enemy of the Sigmarites just isn't smart, especially with how they literally revere helping dwarves - we're likely to be racking up some serious rep with them without even knowing it already, and hating them too much to take advantage of that it silly.

[x] Polyglot: Your time with the Dwarves has revealed that you have an ear for languages, and learn new languages much faster.

Panoramia is the only one of the set I particularly care for.

Really enjoy the idea of Mathilde just casually picking up Every Language. Also Wolf getting CHONKY.

Tempted by the idea of Magical Duelist, but I'm wary of inducing miscasts left and right when they could potentially summon a daemon when we screw with someone doing a big work, haha.

Technically this is true, but they're really really shit at it. This stricture is essentially one of the most ignored of all the sigmarite ones.

[X] Recruit Maximilian

Regimand advised that we recruit him, so let's do that.

[X] Leave the EIC alone

One less responsibility would be good.

[X] Avatar: You're growing worryingly familiar with being used as a conduit by deities. ???

I like the idea of getting closer to Ranald this way, as well as what having that trait would let us do. Getting Nehekharan-style theurgy is a goal I want to pursue.

[X] Wolf Familiar > Winter Wolf Familiar: Turns out Wolf is a late bloomer. Wolf will grow large enough to ride upon.

We can take him into more dangerous battles while having a reasonable amount of safety and he'll be an even greater help to us in combat. Making Wolf less likely to die and more relevant is good.

[X] Donate it to the Winter Wolves of Ulrikadrin.

A nice thing to do and something they could make use of.

[X] Collegiate: They say managing Wizards is like herding cats. Herding cats isn't actually that difficult. Can manage three other wizards per action spent.

I'm not really feeling the pro sigmar option. As a character it is much more interesting to read her with this grudge against them. Narratively, I'd like to Mathilde to get over her grudge by actually working with them, and appreciating their actions instead of in a campaign where they were conspicuously absent. On a gameplay level, I'd much rather improve areas of strength than shore up a non critical area of weakness.

There is something deeply amazing about recruiting Johann as if he were a journeyman. We really should vote for that !

[X] Take an active hand in the EIC
Hopefully by expanding EIC reach, it's grip on Stirland will be softened. Also, having Mathilde taking a more active hand will allow us to know more of EIC current state.

I find combining both of these votes to work pretty well and the trait could work well for the long run when we have more wizards under us. As for why I didn't include Johann, dude seems to want his alone time and wranggling him out from the rat holes is gonna be a pain in the ass. As long as he doesn't blow things up, I'm okay with leaving him alone. Still, in the same time...

[X] Avatar: You're growing worryingly familiar with being used as a conduit by deities. ???

I can see a lot of shenanigans with this. Anyway, going into trait change, I have two of which that is in mind.

[X] Wolf Familiar > Winter Wolf Familiar: Turns out Wolf is a late bloomer. Wolf will grow large enough to ride upon.

First one is because I want to see Wolf finally doing something aside from being a cute furball. The other is because I feel that this trait might bite us in the ass at some point and I rather we deal with this as soon as possible.

Finally, for the magic artifact.

[X] Donate it to whoever ends up leading the Undumgi.

I get the feeling that the soon to be leader of the Undumgi will just be your 'average' human. This will not only give this person a boost but also help increase our relationship with the person.

if we have our hand on the pulse we can better control it. and be ready to strangle it if needed

was thinking of doing this anyway. as long as the leader is the military commander and they can use it properly it would do more good there than with us.

[X] Avatar: You're growing worryingly familiar with being used as a conduit by deities. ???
oh dear lord why must tho tempt me so. being involved in the affairs of gods is messy and dangerous but it is a trait that can be a gateway for more bonuses and gains. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! I CAN'T RESIST!

[X] Collegiate: They say managing Wizards is like herding cats. Herding cats isn't actually that difficult. Can manage three other wizards per action spent.
action efficiency is only second to additional actions in usefulness. a VERY good perk

[X] Magical Duellist: Anyone unwise enough to try to cast spells you don't want them to will quickly regret it. +2 Learning, +10 bonus to dispelling and inducing miscasts.
THAT MISCAST BONUS THO!!!

[X] Wolf Familiar > Winter Wolf Familiar: Turns out Wolf is a late bloomer. Wolf will grow large enough to ride upon.
i like big floff and i can not lie. also, badass and useful in combat. also also, make ulrikans like us more maybe? first impression is always good.

[X] Windreader > Windsage: Your magical senses see more than your normal ones. +2 Learning, even more able to see and understand emotion and magical effects in others.
MORE MAGIC. MORE MAGIC GOOD. MORE MAGIC COURT WIZARD GOOD.
