It would seem Johann has 'graduated' from curiosity to Issue. And we are now tasked with preventing him from becoming a Problem."Do tell Magister Johann to stop playing silly buggers. He can poke at the ratties if he really must, but it's unseemly to play pretend with our allies."
I can't be the only one who heard that list and thought: "To Do'.How many of those little messages are there, anyway?"
"A few. Most of the big ones you'll probably never need.
A healthy supply. Favours of any sort are not the scarce resource we once thought.
...nope.
No Rune Fang or noble title but nonetheless that woman is the power in Stirland.
You say that like it is a bad thing.
I'm imagining Anton as a stay-at-home dad, and it's kind of perfect. She could be, we delt with our journeymanlings well enough. Besides even if Mathilde finds that she hates raising kids Anton seems like he would love it.
Also nobility historicly very rarely functioned as their childrens primary caregivers.
There are actually turns where we don't go out and assassinate our enemies.I think Mathilde would be a very doting mother the five days a year she was around.
No, the real problem is preventing her from trying to do something stupidly risky while pregnant.
But OTOH, we can still investigate wierd stuff as steward, we just need to fit it into our mayor schedule.Yes, but in that case you will not be in charge of the Undumgi.
First, you really should use the reply function. I know we're talking to each other because I've been quoting you, but to other readers not replying makes it hard to follow. Second, for me, it's not that there won't be someone there, but that I think that Mathilde would want to be a good parent, and that necessarily means hanging around a significant amount in Blutdorf.
That's not at all the attitude that Mathilde likely has, given the world she lives in. Ideas on parenting do not include being required to stick around for the vast majority of a child's life, but to see to their physical well being and growth. Being a part of your child's life does not necessitate giving up on the duties of your station, otherwise the entire social structure of the Empire would have fallen apart millenia ago.

Probably would give Marthilde something to look forward to, increase motivation, and peace of mind.I'm imagining Anton as a stay-at-home dad, and it's kind of perfect.

Question, did we pay off our EIC Debt this update? I didn't notice anything specific and given the mention of how the EIC is something to be watched for overreach and Stirland's cash flow difficulties it is something we should have done from a lot of perspectives. Plus the thread did want to even if we voted to spend most of it in K8P
We didn't, and we got told by moneywizardWilhelmina that it's a terrible idea. Debt terms are strict enough for the countess that she either waits for us to pay it on schedule over a long time or sells it to EIC at a large discount - and EIC would be willing and able to purchase it.Question, did we pay off our EIC Debt this update? We didn't have any elves...I advocate for a "United dwarves, elves and hobbits against orcs" category.
Isn't Belegar damn good at stewardship?[x] Marry me...
- [x] Soon
[X] Steward
We gain a solid marriage and a strong relationship, as well as helping oversee the growth of a fledgeling human settlement in K8P and the possibility of creating the next Tobaro. May the Undumgi be a fine servant in the name of King Belegar!
