Imperial books on Druchii are available, Dwarven books aren't.I don't think Imperial and Dwarven books are available on the Druchii due to lack of contact. We're not dealing with Ulthuan so books on them aren't particularly in demand. Back-fill gets us a lot of books, but not the ones beneficial to us, and we have an entire city district worth of books to copy if we want sheer quantity.
Turn 44 is three turns away, so we'll be doing mapping, paper/book-writing, and lornalim study before that. I get why we'd want Ulthuan and Druchii books eventually, but not why we want them this turn.Imperial books on Druchii are available, Dwarven books aren't.
Ulthuan is relevant for the elfcation, which I'm still hoping to do pretty soon (T44). And I know some folks are hoping to negotiate with Ulthuan for the leyline keyphrases once we have a working Waystone prototype, which might be pretty soon.

It's the flash is caused because of the Rune of the Unknown which most likely keeps our sword into a liminal realm.
So it may be convenient to do it next turn if we plan to do the Liminal Realm action so as to further reduce the risks of said action in case it goes wrong or to achieve greater results in case it goes right.

by that same argument, how much those it matter does all those Fundamental physics interactions passed the laying of the concept of 'the shape of a horse and carriage' onto a spirit horse?Possibly, possibly not. A horse pulling a cart relies on a lot of fundamental physics interactions that spirits don't necessarily need to bother with. How much pulling power does a spirit horse that only needs to carry a spirit rider actually have?
We'd probably need something more esoteric than a carriage, really. The shadowhorse spell is notably already pretty contrived, and something specifically made for the purposes of being transported is probably a step too far for Ulgu unless Mathilde had a very exacting mindset. Maybe a movable cloud of fog? Something that isn't pulled so much as guided behind riders, and is selectively tangible for people inside?Time to invent a shadow carriage spell specifically to be pulled by spirits.

On my part I want to see the consequences of giving stuff to the Gold College, and plot hooks is arguably of negative value to me, since I feel we have more plot hooks than AP available. Plus, I generally prefer delving deeper into a single plot hook and resolving it as completely as reasonably plausible than splitting attention over multiple, where a choice is available.I don't really get the interest in the Gold College (or the Amber one for the matter).
Almost all the other interactions look like they could give us fun plot hooks to follow or actionable information next turn (or are just about a character we like).
Meanwhile the Gold College... It just doesn't feel like it will give us such information or hooks.
We may go and the Golds may tell us they have cracked machine guns but... Why should Mathilde care? I see nothing that she could do with such information and whether she sees it or not is irrelevant to whatever the Golds will do with it.

'Chasing someone's shadow' seems like a good start, I think. Maybe let it be restricted to only be usable in daytime, then use the shadow as a negative space that 'hides' a space to sit in? Might be approaching burrito territory there, but I think you could get somewhere with a pocket space born within a rider's shadow. IIRC Boney has said that if we really want to find out what the ??? is then we should in fact try it ('it' here being 'casting in the presence of Tzeentchian sorcery') and find out.
