[]plan:we will move when we die
-[ ] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
-[ ] Chaplains: The Chapter is blessed with more Chaplains than average among its numbers, and higher quality as well. Treachery and corruption will find it far harder to grow within their ranks
-[ ] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.

Tbh I want to do something different. We've already a counterintelligence chapter so I don't really want to do another one. Also if we going to try and spread the imperial truth shouldn't we be trying to actively go to other worlds? And isn't the inquisition's power already reduced from just the existence of the synopticon and the light bringers?

That. Could cause a civil war

I'm thinking thanks to there stubborn they would be good at holding the line and being truly unwilling to move or run away

it is inquisition has to deal with people knowing what they did which means that it is less stupid, as for going to other worlds, that's just standard for space marines. We are doing interventions around local area of imperium

Oh Grimm is not going to be happy during the Age of Apostasy and you can bet he'll be joining in on the siege of his place.

Cuz one of the ways the admech is going to keep Vandire off of their case early on is going to be making Grimm work on some of Vandire's 'brilliant' requests.
Vandire: I WANT FEMALE SPACE MARINES!
Grimm: *Cocks acid toxin plasma round into gattling shotgun*

Correction, they're going to try. I imagine that we'll be able to call up on "grandkids" for help if need be. I imagine that our dedication to making sure that the chapters are as stable as possible has cast us in a good light overall. Especially since most of the chapters we've created have ended up being pretty popular with the general population.
Vandire: I WANT FEMALE SPACE MARINES!
Grimm: *Cocks acid toxin plasma round into gattling shotgun*
Vandire: "It was in a note from Malcadore that he wanted the Primarchs to be female because he thought that would curb some of their worst tendencies."

Grimm: *clicks safety back on gattling shotgun* "You have my attention."

(Kinda like commissars in krieg making sure that soldiers won't run to their death)
I don't think that's actually a thing

[] Plan: The last bastion
-[]Chapter Name: Lore Sentinels

This chapter wouldn't be a counter intelligence chapter, it would a chapter based around spreading a particular faith and culture as it's specialty. It would just be something they re skilled in. There is a difference between say a chapter specialized in siege warfare and one that just has skills in it.

The galaxy is a big place and no one can cover everything. On top of that you are always going to have those crazy assholes who do things that flat out defy logic. Think it does make sense to have a counter intelligence skill so that this chapter could watch out for others messing with not just them but any worlds that follow the Imperial Truth.

May also be a good idea since the chapter we made that does special in counter intelligence doesn't need to potentially spend a lot of time on just our particular areas where the Imperial Truth is spread.

Given the description in this update it feels like this chapter is more aligned towards Chaplains/Artillery Masters/Entrenchment specialists and their normal equipment being Heavy Weapons and Rhinos. Can't wait to see the Pallen Warp Eater in action and how the chapter tamed it in the first place.

Wasn't it listed somewhere that there were already female custodes?

It was retconned in. Though personally I don't see why female Custodes are a big deal.

Edit: Unless you also have an issue with the way that other things have been introduced in 40k, for instance the Votann(who were introduced in a similar way), I'm comfortable ignoring any complaints you might have about lore and retcons.

Some people are "neutral" about this, if "Custodes are the most boring faction of WH40K, regardless if they have female members or not" counts as such
