[] Plan: The last bastion
-[]Chapter Name: Lore Sentinels
-[ ]Chapter colors: Light blue with Silver detail
-[ ] Write in chapter symbol: Golden torch with wings
-[ ] Write in chapter creed: "Let reason hold and mankind thrive"
-[ ] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
-[ ] Chaplains: The Chapter is blessed with more Chaplains than average among its numbers, and higher quality as well. Treachery and corruption will find it far harder to grow within their ranks.
-[ ] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.
-[ ] Specialist Ammo: The Chapter has a ready source of specialized bolter rounds, letting them bring the best possible ammunition for any engagement.

As for traits... I like them but stubbornness could be both a blessing and a problem

Given everything, I think that chapter would somehow be effective in capturing and destroying Chaos-aligned factions...that is kinda hilarious.

I say we are fine on Chaplin, they are more faithful then normal. So I say we use it on something different instead of them being more then fanatics.

Zeal not too horrid they just really hate the concept of gods huh might be a problem with the imperial cult but great anti-chaos if we get counter-intelligence and chaplain maybe?

I really want to give our new Chapter more Chaplains and Counterintelligence Training just to see what happens when you mix those traits with Imperial Truth fanatics.

Favor of ???: This chapter is favored by ??? - the powers of the divine, both Chaotic and otherwise, are weakened in their presence.
Wonder what this could be. Favor of the Emperor? He seems like the most appropriate 40K entity to tell Gods to fuck off, especially for this chapter.

...I wonder which options we need to pick to augment this trait. Librarians? Chaplains?

They need Entrenchment otherwise their just going to make a last stand somewhere and die. Or Chaplain's could work if they temper their stubbornness.

I'm guessing a C'tan.

I kinda think they should have Blademasters that way they can cut down more Chaos Marines in melee, and since they'll probably be going up against Chaos I'd like extra Chaplains.

Kind of surprised that we have not once seen an option for extra tech marines. Then again that does feel like something only possible with Iron Hand descendants…

Also yeah! Blademaster and either Chaplain or Psyker, then Specialist Munitions plus either Assault or Thunderhawk surplus. Mobility and specialist!

Or hell, go all in on direct combat, and grant them Blade master and Sniper at the same time.

To be fair nowhere we have gone had techmarine speciality but yeah we could just make them generalist instead of speciality

They definitely need Entrenchment training. They are stubborn and zealous, which means they are going to have a lot of last stands. Best for them to be good at it.

That I'm afraid is going to be kept secret until the next update depending on weather or not you guys take extra Chaplains.
Welp, screw it. Let's take Chaplains and toss the coin on whether they help moderate the chapter or turn them into Super Duper Zealous Marines.

The Pallan Warp Eater is going to be a fun addition to the Chapter, I'm sure. We can feed it Chaos entities but not too much lest it becomes the thing that it always eats.

The poison resistance is a good surprise, especially if they're going to be fighting Nurgle worshipers.

The Stubbornness reminds me of the traits of the Steel Champions. Hopefully, this new chapter can do the same.

As for Zeal, well... The greatest example of this trait is Sigismund. The worst example of this is Lorgar.

Also, that Imperial Truth would definitely act as like a pseudo-Blank if done right.

As for a plan this is mine:

[] Plan: True Followers of the Imperial Truth
-[ ] Librarians: The Chapter's Librarians are particularly well trained, and have far greater resistance to the temptations of the warp. They are far less likely to fall to Perils of the Warp, and offer more potent psychic support.
-[ ] Extra Thunderhawks: The Chapter has access to additional Thunderhawks, of both Gunship, Transporter and Annihilator models, giving them superior heavy air power. (5 points)

The Librarian/Chaplain combo compliments the planet's trait and reinforces this Chapter as the true followers of the Emperor's ideals. One that Roboute would like to appreciate when he awakes from his 10,000-year coma. Also, with the Pallan Warp Eater in the chapter's control, I fear it being under the control of someone else, so I suggest doing this combo.

To compensate for the lack of warfare specialty, I want to give this chapter more heavy weapons and superior aerial firepower.

Have two quick ideas. The first is to lean into being both very good at siege and make them even more brutal against Chaos (and probably the orks honestly). Oh, and some wonderful irony about these guys having a better librarius of course.

The Second is to lean into the idea of spreading them far afield and essentially aiming to get them seconded to the Imperial Navy (spread far and wide) and essentially do as SM's do. Get sent to a strategically important area so that they can take it and hold it against any counterattacks. Considered jump packs or devastators but feel like they're fine as it is.

[] Plan: The Eternal Shore
-[ ] Entrenchment: The Chapter is better at erecting and maintaining fortifications than average.
-[ ] Librarians: The Chapter's Librarians are particularly well trained, and have far greater resistance to the temptations of the warp. They are far less likely to fall to Perils of the Warp, and offer more potent psychic support.
-[ ] Heavy Weaponry: The Chapter is well supplied with heavy weaponry, and can field a larger proportion of Devastator squads.

[] Plan: On Stranger Tides
-[ ] Boarding Specialists: The Chapter's Marines are truly masters at boarding voidcraft - even by Space Marine standards.
-[ ] Deepstrikes: More so than even other Space Marines, this Chapter has gained a mastery of the orbital strikes Adeptus Astartes are famous for.
-[ ] Extra Thunderhawks: The Chapter has access to additional Thunderhawks, of both Gunship, Transporter and Annihilator models, giving them superior heavy air power. (5 points)

I say roll our dice on Chaplain's then.

[] Plan: The Flame of Truth Part 2
-[ ] Librarians: The Chapter's Librarians are particularly well trained, and have far greater resistance to the temptations of the warp. They are far less likely to fall to Perils of the Warp, and offer more potent psychic support.
-[ ] Chaplains: The Chapter is blessed with more Chaplains than average among its numbers, and higher quality as well. Treachery and corruption will find it far harder to grow within their ranks.
-[ ] Extra Rhinos: Though many would call them simple metal boxes, the Rhino is a capable transport and this Chapter has some to spare.
-[ ] Extra Thunderhawks: The Chapter has access to additional Thunderhawks, of both Gunship, Transporter and Annihilator models, giving them superior heavy air power.

Extra vehicles to move the Pallan Warp Eater's and to give them the ability to maneuver into the best positions and support to hold said positions.
