[X] Plan: The Gift of Wisdom.

I really really want to do Blood Angels. But not with this current combination. The vampire angels need something else.

Future plan for the Iron hands

Step 1: Mix them with the Salamanders

Step 2: Put them in conteact wiht the forge-world the "recovers" tech

Step 3: Base them in the world between the two other forge-worlds

Step 4: Give them that Cerberus-pettern dreadnaught and drag that fourth forge-world into the moshpit

Step 5: Hope they diplomacy between all of them and form a faction that actualy does something besides killing eachother over technology

Step 6: Profit.... hopefully

Favor of ???: This chapter is favored by ??? the powers of the divine both chaotic and otherwise are weakened in their presence.

Is that a Chaos God favoring our nascent chapter?

I hope to the Emperor that He himself is favoring this chapter, and not one of those flying reality tumors.

Malal what are you doing here? get back in your prison of Non-existence! you are not canon.

But honestly considering how this is a world that embraced the Imperial Truth and got THAT from it... its worrying.

I would be terribly amused if we somehow got an Eldar World Spirit to wake up and support us. The Eldar on the other hand would not be as amused.
Eldar: STOP. STEALING. OUR. WORLD. SPIRITS.

Humanity: you're just mad they prefer the me over you. just a jealous ex.

Hey guys, I guess we found where the shard of the Emperor who hated gods and ditched the rest of him when the corpse sitting on a certain throne metaphorically threw up his hands and said "Fine! I'll be your goddamn God!" went.

I'm like 90% sure that "goddess of wisdom" is just Slaanesh
Can you explain, what Slaanesh has to do with wisdom? If it's one of the Chaos Gods, it would be Tzeentch. "LoL. Slaanesh is female!!1!1!1" is one of the dumbest memes I ever show in the 40k fandom. In the original Realm of Chaos books, Slaanesh was described as half man half woman, literally, left side of Slaanesh body was a woman, the other man. In other sources, it's mentioned that Slaanesh likes to change what physical form is shown to others, but the favorite form of Slaanesh is that of androgynous, young man.

Unironically, this image sums it up well.
None of the Chaos Gods have true, physical forms, just the favorite ones, Tzeentch likes to constantly Change, Nurgle likes being fat and bloated with disease and Khorne likes being giant in armour with vaguely dog shaped head.

And course, that ignores the fact that not everything in 40k has to do with Chaos, Eldar had a bloodthirsty God of War and Murder, last time I checked, he is cleary differenciated from Khorne. It's more likely that Goddess of Wisdom, was just that, Goddess of Wisdom, either a minor Warp entity or just religious beliefs of the planet population that didn't have anything to do with any actually existing supernatural entities.

in short, I believe that this was a local goddess that Slasnesh ate and started subverting the cult of, but then realized the crusade would show up before she could get any real progress done. and while Slaanesh can be either gender, I've only ever seen Tzeentch portrayed as a male.
If I correctly remember, Tzeentch cultists in one Felix and Gotrek stories cosplayed monastery of local God of Order. They did same thing over and over again, years, what Tzeentch followers would never do. When I was listening story, thought that it would be Belacore or Nurgle, but no, Tzeentch. So, stop thinking that Chaos couln't pretend or be different from usual behavior.

Okay. Cool. Please, explain to me, why Slaanesh would care about things like Wisdom to ate minor Warp entity of that, why Chaos Gods in general, especially God of Passion Like Slaanesh, would care about things like "getting any real progress done" and wouldn't corrupt the planet either way even as The Crusade getting close. In the worst case, the planet gets bombed, just like many other planets that worshipped Chaos before it and after it by The Crusade, remember, Fulgrim didn't need to know what Laer actually worshipped to kill them all, and at best, the Cultist succeed and summon army of Daemons to temporary fuck with The Crusade.

Again, Slaanesh is God of Passion, Excess and Hedonism, he of all the Chaos Gods is most likely to do things, literally for the LoLs, even if he knows that nothing will be gained from it in the long term. And again, even if we assume that somehow, a everyshifting entity with a thousand faces, can be in any real sense categorized as male, Tzeentch still has way more to do with wisdom than Slaanesh, it's not like Tzeentch would have to become hermaphrodite or a woman, to ate and then start subverting cult of a Goddess of Wisdom, and definitely Tzeentch is more likely to stop doing that if nothing is to be gained from it, than a literal God of Excess and Passion.

With all due respect, I don't belief you thought about things beyond "LoL, Chaos is behind everything!" and "LoL, Slaanesh is female because sex!" bad memes.
