I think we should probably talk to Otto Hightower - he's the Hand, obviously, and between the Gwayne possibility being cut off and the Qoren thing opening up I feel like it's pretty vital to feel him out. He might have something kind of unpleasant but useful to say. Tarly also sounds worthwhile, both personally and as a good look at what kinds of things marriage opponents might say.

[] Plan: Overdue Talks
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Alicent Hightower
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Ser Raylon Tarly
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Laena Velaryon
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Isembard Arryn
-[] [Action] Train
--[] Challenge to a Duel: Raylon has suggested dueling others as a way of sharpening yourself against new blades. Have others find flaws in you that he has missed (Pick One)
---[] [Duel] One of the Dornish Nobles
-[] [Action] Train with Syrax

IIRC, we are not yet overdue for the harp, so we should pay some attention to bestest girl instead.

Speaking to Tarly is a must, and speaking with Alicent is probably critical, too. I mean, it's not like we have neglected her, but given the topic of current events, well. And I absolutely do t hink we should talk to Laena while we have the chance.

OTOH, I have no interest in the whole thing with Orwyle, at all. Or further doing anything about Harrenhal for that matter. So either we talk to Isembard, as we promised, or maybe to Otto instead.

We have just studied law, no need to pick it so soon...

And we need to Talk with Laena, this is a pretty unique opportunity we have in here...
Fair.
[] Plan An Application of Soft Power.
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Otto Hightower
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Maester Orwyle
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Ser Raylon Tarly
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Laena Velaryon
-[] [Action] Train
You are one of the greatest wields of the blade of your age, that statement maybe more than little egotistical, but it is true regardless. Still, you are young, and there's always a chance for improvement
--[] Challenge to a Duel: Raylon has suggested dueling others as a way of sharpening yourself against new blades. Have others find flaws in you that he has missed (Pick One)
---[] [Duel] One of the Dornish Nobles
-[] [Action] Fly to Harrenhal

A trip to Harrenhall is more than casual flying and will serve as exercise for Syrax. We need Mellos and his suggestions that we be removed from the position of heir packed up and shipped back to the reach and with a mix of Orwyle and Otto's help we can set the stage for that to be carried out. Alicent and Gwayne can wait a turn, especially since we brought Alicent along on our meeting with Qoren.

---[] [Duel] One of the Dornish Nobles
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Laena Velaryon
-[] [Action] Train with Syrax
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Maester Orwyle

Posting the two draft plans. These do Speaking with Alicent and Gwayne to strategize how to keep Alicent with us and looking their opinion in our marriage, Speak to Ser Raylon about his anger while dueling Dornish noble, and Speak with Laena while Training with Syrax. The higher one prepare for longer next turn Dragonstone visit and the lower Speak with Orwyle to start replacing Mellos in the council and in treating Viserys.

*Please vote for Alpaca27's Doctor Visit and Girl Talks plan over Doctor Visit as they raise a great point about speaking with Alicent alone first to focus on her tumultuos feeling.
[] Plan Doctor Visit and Girl Talks

[] [Conversation] Speak with Otto Hightower
Otto was neither your friend or your enemy when it came to matters with Prince Qoren, he did not seem to oppose the marriage per say but he did seem somewhat skeptical of the matter. Otto's support would help a lot when it came smoothing over the anger this marriage would not doubt cause in the Reach and the Stormlands. And perhaps it's time to speak to him directly on matters concerning Alicent.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong
The Master of Laws and Lord of Harrenhal. While Lord Strong's quite happy with you studies so far, it never hurts to try and improve your learning whenever possible. Perhaps the two of you could talk on matters of Dornish law, with the it looking quite possible that Dorne may soon bend the new, it might do well to learn more about their laws.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyman Beesbury
The Master of Coin. Beesbury is loyal, perhaps not as sharp as Lord Strong, but he is quiet loyal to your father. He apparently made a quite a bit of coin gambling on you as a mystery knight. Part of you is curious why he decided to play his faith in the Silver Falcon. It might also help to try and convince him to support your match with Qoren Martell
[] [Conversation] Speak with Rhaenys Targaryen
Your last conversation with your cousin went poorly, actually it's safe to say it went terrible. You were nearly screaming by the end of it. Perhaps the two of you could move past that and try to have a friendly conversation. At the very least you are curious what she thinks of what she thinks of matters in the Stepstones and your likely marriage.
Aaa! I wanted to talk to all the small council and Rhaenys especially with their new blurbs in regard to negotiation. Why not? Why shoudn't I create a high speed, focus on the moment Plan? :V

[] Plan Persuading All the Council.
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Otto Hightower
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyman Beesbury
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Rhaenys Targaryen
-[] [Action] Train

--[] Challenge to a Duel: Raylon has suggested dueling others as a way of sharpening yourself against new blades. Have others find flaws in you that he has missed (Pick One)
---[] [Duel] One of the Dornish Nobles
-[] [Action] Train with Syrax

This plan focus in talking with all the people that may have opinion on the negotiation and able to persuade Viserys whether because of their position or because they are Rhaenys.

*Edit added forgotten emoji. Including Alpaca27's Girl talks version.

Think that Harrenhal and Law studies can wait a minute. Harrenhal especially seems like the Stress is only gonna get worse before it gets better. Not what we need right now.

But between the Maester being both incompetent in his duties and now blatantly siding against us in Small Council meetings, I do think that Orwyle is an important person to talk to.

Isembard should be talked to soon enough, but even the option to speak to him refers to how we got home sooner than we were meant to. Pretty sure we can still hold off a few months.

That is a good point. And with the news about marriage negotiations, well, he'll understand.

So my plan slightly modified, and no longer so much about "overdue" talks

@Teen Spirit a couple of questions...

Can we still go to Harrenhal in winter? And if not how long left do we have of Autumn? I mean if statistically seasons in Westeros last a couple of years on average we should still have around a year worth of Autumn...

And if we pick the [] [Action] Prepare for a Trip to Dragonstone, are we going this trimester or the next one?
peaking to Tarly is a must, and speaking with Alicent is probably critical, too. I mean, it's not like we have neglected her, but given the topic of current events, well. And I absolutely do t hink we should talk to Laena while we have the chance.
I agree about Alicent, but I don't know if we should also include Gwyne here...
OTOH, I have no interest in the whole thing with Orwyle, at all. Or further doing anything about Harrenhal for that matter. So either we talk to Isembard, as we promised, or maybe to Otto instead.
So you are uninterested in talking to the guy who can give us a realistic medical diagnosis of our father and trying to solve our issues with that dream that is still obsessing us (and trying to poach Alyss)...

Ok but as you ca understand a lot of us are very much interested in doing both...

Agree very much. Let Isembard cook. He either succesful and can use extra time for extra money or he is not so he need extra time to calm down.

I think our father gave good advice, which is backed up by canon Targaryen history. Whenever Targaryens obsessed about dreams, portents, visions and prophecies, bad things happened. Viserys himself, Summerhall, Rhaegar... no good ever came out of this. We should just ignore all that magic stuff and either try to mend relations with our half-sister the mundane way, or accept that we'll remain distant.

Also, I just don't think we'll be able to do much about Viserys' health one way or the other.

I agree about Alicent, but I don't know if we should also include Gwyne here...
Also... what for? Way things are going, well, Qoren is our candidate so would we really have much to discuss with Gwayne?

-[] [Action] Fly to Harrenhal

Okay, we have a lot of conversations wr absolutely need to have as soon as possible.

We need to repair our relathionship with Tarly, talk with Orwyle so we can lay the foundations to get rid of the Grand Maester, and have a very very important Talk with Alicent and Gwayne regarding the future of Rhaenyra relathionship.

Also, we should fly to Harrenhal and meet Alys, since we now have the opportunity and is better doing it right now so next turn we can get rid of the stress by studying music.

I was thinking abaout adding a talk with Otto, but before talking with him we should coordinate with Gwayne and Alicent to see the best way to approach him.

Yeah, if it weren't for the continous Stress gains I would be as interested in Harrenhal as I am about King Aerys invesitgation, which is to say not at all.

-[] [Action] Train with Syrax
-[] [Conversation] Speak with Maester Orwyle

Feel like Orwyle, Alicent, Tarly, and Laena are the most pressing/time sensitive options. Only thing I would maybe change is the Gwayne aspect of the Plan.

Also definitely want to ride on best girl Syrax. Feels like it's been a minute.

Coordinating our efforts for when we approach Otto...

Hey I think that we should try to understand what happens in Harrenhal, you always fear the unknown, and making sense of what happened here will help us to process things easily... Or at least that we don't get 8 stress per action we spend around a couple of babies...

Besides that, Regarding Viserys Health, I am pretty sure that Alys can at least reduce the intensity of his symptoms...

Also... what for? Way things are going, well, Qoren is our candidate so would we really have much to discuss with Gwayne?

If we look at the Blurb, Speaking with Alicent focus on talking about her feeling about all of this while Including Gwayne is on the strategy to ensure we can prevent Alicent going because one or other thing. So it is up to us whether to Speak Alicent alone or Speak with Gwayne too. I think Alicent will either be more comfortable to already having concrete option with Gwayne or feels rushed about it. While Speaking with Alicent alone is safer in regard to feeling and relationship as we focus on her alone.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Alicent Hightower
The good news is you knew Qoren had no issue with your relationship with Alicent. It still would do well to see how your dear lady feels about your likely marriage and what it may do to your relationship.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Gwayne And Alicent
Unless things with Prince Qoren don't work out, the odds of you ever marrying Gwayne were very remote now. That didn't mean it was pointless talking to Alicent's brother. Far from it in fact. He could prove a valuable ally still and the three of you might be able to figure out a way to ensure Alicent never has to leave your side.

The Gwayne talk will be useful, but getting on the same page with Alicent first would still be nice. She seemed like she had a lot to say at the end of our talk with Qoren.
Alicent just stared at him, nodding quietly with a blank expression though you knew her well enough to see the cauldron of emotions still boiling behind the facade.

@Teen Spirit
Would inviting Laena out for some dragon flying together be a valid write-in option? We could use some time with both her and Syrax, and based on what we know about her, it seems like she might appreciate that over a conversation anyway.

You are right. I'll vote for your version preferentially so it win over Gwayne version.
