But yeah, as far as it goes WRT the reputational loss I'm not worried. From what I can tell, the loss of relations wasn't enough to decrease the ranking of any of the ones who disliked it, presumably falling in 'more than nothing, but less than one rank' as it were in charge. Unless I'm misunderstanding, @Teen Spirit , I only just read through it.
And us potentially gaining an ally or at least nominal friend in Lady Arryn seems like it would be more than worth it... though obviously a part of me fears that the charm offensive she's promising to go on might make her genuine answer seem a little cynical... but then, this is politics?
Okay, now that I came to terms with a lot of things (namely that Rhaenyra is going to be pissing off people in general with her sitting on the throne and becoming a knight), I still think that while everyone is planning a harem of women, we still need a husband to help us continue the Targaryen line.
If we can't produce heirs because we spend our time with just women, then its a problem. A solvable problem, but still a problem.
I think my current greatest fear is that we'll create another Andrew Farman situation, and nobody wants that. So I wonder, can Gwayne Hightower, Harwin Strong or the Frey heir accept being a third wheel? I mean, the Freys' lord paramount is a muppet, so current era Riverlanders can be quite open-minded, right?
At the moment she's fifteen. The best thing she can do is make allies (which she's been doing) and learn and improve... which she's also been doing pretty consistently. Other things can probably wait a year or three.

It takes multiple loses of reputation in a normal situation (Because there are situations where reputation can raise or lower mulitple levels) to decrease the rank.

Technically, we don't strictly speaking need an heir as things currently stand. Our goal is to become queen, and whoever gets the throne after us isn't actually relevant to that end. We could just chuck it at whoever of Daemon/Laenor/Laena's offspring that seem least likely to tear the kingdom apart once we go away. Rhaenyra would not be the first heirless ruler.
Granted, having an heir is very useful for a multitude of other reasons (particularly politically) so we should probably get one if possible, but going by the goals been set by the Quest it isn't a neccesary step.

but if we do decided we need heirs instead of deciding to give it to daemons kids or Johana's kids or whatever, i vote we invite harwin to the forming polycule because i love his and rhaenaryes relationship.
I will say marriage and heirs don't mean you can't have a love life. And not getting married or having kids would make things far harder for you long term

There's good odds that in order to successfully inherit we'll need enough dragon riders willing to back our claim that no one else will try to contest it though. Children of our own have a clear interest in trying to promote the claim that we aren't a usurper, particularly if we don't develop a poor relationship with them.

I would not surprised with such results on qq... Well.... I always thought that this forum community are more mature and wouldn't vote for "lesbian princess go" thing just for the sake of lesbian hero.....

So, for next turn, after the wedding, I believe we must practice with Syrax. She is a part of us and becoming anything close to Visenya would include taking the duty of turning our beloved yellow dragon into the next Granny Vhagar... minus the love for war crimes, of course.

"My father holds a great deal of love for my uncle," you admitted, "but he is not unreasonable and he listens to his council and lords. And I very much doubt Lady Jeyne would want my uncle camping out on Runestone. I will talk to her and Otto Hightower. I am sure the two of them along with myself can convince my father to annul your marriage."
"I don't very much fancy having the Hand of the King think I'm in his debt," Rhea Royce replied. "But if you think it will work, I am all for it."
Relationship with Rhea Royce Established.
"I wanted to see what it is like to dance with a woman," you explained as you and Jeyne twirled around each other. "And perhaps make a friend who understands."
"Ahh," Jeyne said sympathetically. "It troubles you that boys don't hold your attention but the girls do?"
"It's not that," you replied as you held her at arm's length before pulling her back in. "Some boys can be quite compelling. I just find many women equally compelling as well."
It had started when you began training, when you found yourself being stared at by so many men and women in court as you beat up a practice dummy. You realized that you liked some of the stares. Those who seemed to appreciate your efforts and admired your skill, no matter the gender. And while you often fantasized about finding some strong husband to share adventures with, fighting together against bandits as you traveled the seven kingdoms and such, you also found yourself fantasizing about playing the knight to some fair maiden, having her give you her favor and in turn you crowning her queen of love and beauty at some tourney.
Both of these felt compelling, but there was no one you could share your feelings with on the matter within the Red Keep.
"I must admit I have never seen the appeal in men," Lady Jeyne's voice was dismissive, "but we each find our own way to love. If the fair princess needs some advice, I am always willing to lend an ear."
"That is most appreciated."
"A word of advice. Don't wait for the other girl to make the first move. It would be a shame to see a princess waste her years pining away." Jeyne's voice dropped as she leaned in closer, all but whispering in your ear. "Some girls, if you tell them what you want, you'll have them in your bed that night. Others, you have to wait and be patient. Guide them gently until they realize what they desire. But in all cases, you should make the first move."
"Our fathers and mothers have taught almost all of us that it is the man who makes the first move," she explained as you went through another spin. "That even when there is passion, it is the man who takes charge. Many of those who share our interests haven't unlearned the lessons of their parents. And with your status as princess and heir, rare is the women indeed who would make the first move with you."
"That is quite useful advice," you replied sincerely. "Thank you."
You admittedly had not thought of saying anything to anyone yet, or considered the notion of anyone trying to seduce you, but it was good to know what you should expect.
"You're quite welcome," Jeyne replied with a smile. "I must admit I was not expecting much from this wedding but this dance has been delightful. You should visit me in the Eyrie when you have the chance. I have always wanted to see a dragon up close and I feel we have a great deal we could talk about."
The music changed, prompting the two of you to break apart and return to your prospective seats.
Relationship with Lady Jeyne Arryn Established.
You quietly left the wedding not long after your dance with Lady Arryn once talk of a Bedding ceremony began.
To your surprise, there was little said about the dance in the days and weeks that followed the wedding beyond a few hushed whispers and a few of the servant girls giving you a bit more attention then they had before. Most of the conversation talked about the ceremony itself. Your flyover with Syrax left quite the impression on a great many of the visiting lords.
Another topic of gossip and conversation was the growing Westerland influence at court. A number of knights and minor nobles had followed the new queen and the Master of Ships to court and a fair few of them had no intention of leaving, becoming all but permanent fixtures in the Red Keep like some of the minor nobles of the Crownlands. And of course, the merchants of the city were quite happy with the influx of Lannister gold. The Dragons still dominated of course but the changes were unmistakable.
Your father agreed to make Alicent your Handmaiden without question, remarking she was an excellent pick. To your mild surprise, she took her new duties incredibly seriously. Right away, she got to work helping you dress in the morning, organizing your room, and planning out your day. You could swear the woman found a way to add hours to the average day because with her assistance you quickly found yourself finishing stuff before midday that would normally take you until sunset.
Of course, Alicent immediately suggested this just meant you should add more activities to your day, but you couldn't deny you found the prospect a bit exhausting.
A few days after the wedding, news came in from the Stepstones. Daemon had burned much of the Crabfeeder's fleet near Grey Gallows. The Prince-Admiral survived the attack and was quickly rallying more ships from the Three Daughters to replace his lost numbers and yet it was clear that your uncle and Lord Corlys had the upper hand. Grey Gallows and a number of other islands had fallen to your uncle's forces while the Crabfeeder's army was digging in on Bloodstone and elsewhere. It was looking unlikely this would be a quick war.
A week after the wedding, a massive storm hit the Crownlands. For days, rain poured down in buckets, all but keeping you locked inside the Red Keep as the wind lashed at the stone walls. This delayed more than a few guests who had been preparing to leave, causing the keep to remain cramped and full of people who were less than pleased about this whole situation. The maesters were saying this could be a sign Autumn would soon be here, but the Citadel was not yet willing to send out a white raven so far.
While you waited out the storms, a surprising message was delivered to your room. Alicent's brother, Gwayne Hightower, wished to speak with you. The message didn't say what he even wanted to talk about, just that he wished to speak to you in the training yard once the storms passed.
You had never really spoken to the man, so you were quite curious what he wanted to talk about, though with so many things you could be doing you weren't sure if you had the time to talk with Gwayne.
Alicent is now your Handmaiden: Free Action Unlocked
3rd Season, 113 AC
Free Action: Free Action allows to make one additional Conversation orAction per turn (So 3 Conversations and 2 Actions or 2 Conversations and 3 Actions). However, using it on an Action creates Stress from Rhaenyra being overworked and reduces the effectiveness of Relaxing.
Each turn is 3 months, though this may change as the quest goes on. You can pick either from the options below for your tasks or use write-in actions after QM approval. Please use plan voting for turn votes.
Conversations (Pick Two)
[] [Conversation] Speak with Viserys
Between his new Wife, his promises to make up for your subdued name-day, your dance with Jeyne Arryn, and his ongoing illness, there is quite a bit you could discuss with your father.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Alicent Hightower
It could not hurt to check up with Alicent, see how she is adjusting to her new role, and get her thoughts on the recent changes in King's Landing and the Red Keep.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Otto Hightower
You did promise Rhea you would speak to Otto about her marriage to Daemon.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Gwayne Hightower
What does Alicent's brother want to talk with you about?
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Commander Harrold Westerling
The Lord Commander must have some thoughts about his kin marrying your family. Perhaps he has some insight on your step-mother as well.
[] [Conversation] Speak With Lady Johanna Westerling
You couldn't help but notice the new Queen had a rather strong reaction to your dance. It might be wise to talk with her and see if you had accidentally caused some offense that you need to smooth over.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Ser Raylon Tarly
The two of you have been training a lot in recent months, and while the results have been quite effective, there's always room for improvement. Perhaps a good conversation would allow you to refine and improve your training even further.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyonel Strong
The Master of Laws and Lord of Harrenhal. A stalwart voice on the council and man you know generally strives to do what is best for the Kingdom. He could provide much needed insight in your efforts to earn a seat on the Small Council.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lord Lyman Beesbury
The Master of Coin. Beesbury is loyal, perhaps not as sharp as Lord Strong, but he is quiet loyal to your father. Perhaps he could be of some help in your quest to gain a seat on the Small Council.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Grand Maester Mellos
While your father assures you that he will make a full recovery in time, you must admit you find yourself rather worried by what you saw that night. Perhaps the Grand Maester could help you better understand the situation and lay your worries to rest.
[] [Conversation] Speak with Lady Jeyne Arryn
The bad weather has kept Jeyne from sailing back to Gulltown for the moment. Perhaps you can use this opportunity to talk with her about Rhea Royce, and other matters if you so wish.
[] [Conversation] Write-in
Subject to QM approval, has to have a reasonable chance of being in King's Landing.
Actions (Pick Two)
[] [Action] Relax
The Wedding was harder for you to deal with then you expected . Perhaps you should take some time to yourself, read in the godswood, fly around with Syrax for fun, and just enjoy yourself for a while.
[] [Action] Investigate the Death of King Aenys
Most Maesters and other writers agree that Queen Visenya had poisoned her nephew, King Aenys, to allow her own son to take the throne. But you have already seen how much those same authors were willing to ignore Visenya's contributions and slander her already. Perhaps this is simply another case of slander. If you could prove that, it could improve Queen Visenya's reputation considerably and make a stronger argument for your own eventual rule.
[] [Action] Study Valyrian History with your Father.
While you had never taken much interest in Valyrian history before despite your father's passion for it, your recent interests in scholarly matters has caused you to reconsider. Perhaps some time studying the history of your ancestors and helping your father build his grand model could provide some interesting insight. IF nothing else it would give you some quality time with him.
[] [Action] Train
Ser Raylon Tarly insists that if you keep the heavy training up for a while longer you could easily become one of the best sword fighters in the Seven Kingdoms.
[] [Action] Train with Syrax
While you have both adjusted to Syrax's new size, more training could only help the both of you.
[] [Action] Sneak out and Explore the City
When your father and uncle were your age, they regularly went out of the King's Landing at night for all kinds of things. Naturally such things were forbidden to you as they were "unbefitting a princess" but as heir to the throne, shouldn't you have a chance to let loose and explore the city you'll one day rule? And if nothing else it will be great practice if you ever need to sneak for more adventurous pursuits.
[] [Action] Push to become involved in the Stepstones
While a Dragon and the largest fleet in Westeros should be enough to secure victory in the Stepstones, having another Dragonrider would speed things along. This could be a rare opportunity to earn real glory for yourself and prove you capabilites as warrior. You could also use the chance to check up on your uncle and the Sea Snake, ensure this war of theirs isn't a cover for something far more sinister.
[] [Action] Request a Role in the City Watch
You know you are years away from your father even entertaining the idea of you leading the City Watch, but Daemon's recent actions have shown the who order to have dangerous flaws. Perhaps you could request some sort of role in it's rebuilding, overseeing the training or something like that as a way to ensure the next Goldcloaks are loyal. The role would probably be small and it wouldn't get you a seat on the Small Council but it could be a good first step on the way towards one.
[] [Action] Study
There is always room to improve your education.
[] [Action] Scout out Tourneys
There are few better ways to test one's skill in combat than a tourney. While you are quite aware that no tourney, however small, would allow you to openly compete, there was always the option of entering as a mystery knight. Your own grandfather was knighted after he entered a tourney as a mystery knight. While it was unlikely there would be a tourney as big as the one King's Landing had the day your mother died for quite some time, there was always some lord getting married or some heir having an important nameday. If you could find one close enough you might be able to sneak off and enter as a mystery knight. Of course, entering one and winning are two different things, and a quick defeat may hamper your efforts to become a knight.
[] (Action) Write-in
Subject to QM approval QM's Note: I realized that having Alicent as you Handmaiden is a good reason to change up the Action economy a bit. Handmaidens held an important role and basically act as chief butler for noble and Royal ladies. And she is the type to take duties seriously, at this point her life at least.
