Voting is open
While the vote is ongoing, CyberEnby planted an idea into my head that I mulled over the last few days, coming to the conclusion that, should any decision be made, it should be done in the way the madness truly began. With a dice roll.

@Magoose, if you have the time, please roll me any dice of your choosing. If you don't want to, you can defer to the general thread.

An UNEVEN number means we jump into the rabbit hole and see how deep it goes.

And EVEN number means we stay in wonderland and marvel at a new dawn.

i cannot wait for a kancolle omake where iwo jima to be summon in an alternate universe and when she says that she collides in a commie island.

So I realize this is a ways off the current thread topic but I was rewatching a video of the youtuber RTgame playing Tropico 6 when in the video he discovers that his attempts at oppressing the working class was actually hurting his economy and that by giving some more freedom to the people his Island nation would gain tangible benefits. In this case his island nation had high unemployment rate due to his use of child labor.
He started out the video intending to be incredibly brutal and oppressive only to realize that it is simply more practical to show a bit of (relative) kindness to his citizens.
This actually reminds me of the start of the quest what with HeroCooky intending to show the dark side of communist dictatorships before the player base decided to shoot for the GLORIOUS GAY UTOPIAN REVOLUTION.

(Commiewood has gotten into the spirit of the Plan Goals and the recent reveal of the Wolfsmenschen by debuting a series based on the Sector General books written by Irish author James White. A medical drama with pacifist themes set on a hospital station in deep space where doctors of various species must treat an equally diverse cast of patients, Sector General was praised for its animatronic non-human aliens and its use of parabolic flight to simulate zero gravity (usually during rocket ambulance rides - holy shit you would not believe how much of the budget those ate).)

Sitting in his living room, James White stared at the ending credits of the show he had just watched, the last episode finishing in the same manner as the previous 23. Then, standing up, White slowly crosses the room to eject the cassette from his TV, looking at the label denoting the name of the episode and length of the same.

"The Price of War," White spoke gently, softly, as if tasting the words to see if they made sense or fit within his work. A slow nod followed, his mind going through the happenings again, a piece he had written last year but nearly scrapped altogether because he hadn't liked what it spoke of, what it entailed, and the viewpoints said within. Above that, it just hadn't fit within the setting and the characters, so it almost went into the bin.

Until he got a call from someone wanting to produce a show based upon Sector General, seeking his approval or refusal. To say that the realization of said person being from the other side of the world and economic ideology had been a shock was to call a sleeping cat uncomfortable.

And yet, he hadn't seen the reason to refuse. After all, what was the worst that could happen? That they slandered his work to shoehorn in their propaganda, causing him trouble with the government? He had given them the okay but refused the money to stave just such accusations off, on the off chance that they would produce a lasting legacy in the minds of the newer generations he couldn't do with books alone.

Putting the cassette into its box with the others, he turned to the kitchen, Peggy having called him to help her deck the table. A smile was on his lips, and a vigor in his steps, feeling younger and more hopeful for a better future than ever. The show had been more faithful than any counterpart produced in the West would have been.

Construction noise tore through Guangchou once more, every city across the nation a bustling hub of activity as clinics and hospitals are checked, written off, and replacements drawn up in record time across the island. Where the years before had seen a massive surge of construction to see every person housed that could be housed, said capability was now redirected into the creation of medical infrastructure in an effort rarely seen in human history and one which would be studied by many generations to come for its failures and successes each. So great is the speed and capability of your construction sector that it manages to replace what medical infrastructure you possess in six months with modern equivalents, capable of housing every medical professional you have and more! Much more, in fact, with over a third of all structures currently empty and awaiting new graduates, foreign experts, and loaned personnel.

The construction of pharmaceutical plants in Das Capital proceeds with speed and urgency. The workers know that the quicker their efforts are completed, the faster people across the island will benefit from the medicines produced here. Therefore, even with a stricter eye on quality than your inspectors had already deemed needed due to the speed, each plant passes with flying colors, leading to the first batches of products being produced and undergoing testing as the year turns into the beginning of the next one.

However, that is when several people realize that, due to a spelling mistake in the orders from the Great Leader, several more plants had been constructed than ordered. This is quickly buried internally, as nothing of significant import happened that could have hampered other projects, and to ensure the plants can provide the massive quantities of medicines and chemicals required by the populace. All well, that ends well, at least this time.

The implementation of the Bureau of Stricter Quality Assurance Ensuring Improved Efficiency Among Domestically Produced Goods (BSQASIEADPG) goes swimmingly, smoothly, and without any notable delay. Though some Unions jockeyed for power within local headquarters or requested changes to accommodate local circumstances in the make-up of the new organ of state, nothing of significant import hindered the process in the implementation of higher quality assurances from ensuring that domestic products could endure far beyond their capitalist counterparts or among those produced by factories within the USSR. Unluckily, nothing happened to boost or improve the bureau itself. However, something going as planned is better than it going worse, so putting aside any envy generated by the grand expansion of the medical sector has to suffice for the satisfaction of a job well done.

"Okay. What happened." You do not say that so much as you flatly state the words as you look over the reports of the various teams working on implementing the CyberSyn systems in the Medical Sector in specific and those working on the Cyberization of Guangchou's Light Industry in the broader terms. "And keep it simple."

"Well," Wei begins, gently banging their head against your table as you carefully secure a glass of water with some anti-headache pill slowly dissolving in it from the vibrations. "We tried to crack getting our electronics down to 800nm to keep the advantage, remember?"

"Yes, I do. Though the technical talk went slightly over my head, That is something I am very much invested in keeping for as long as possible. How does it pertain to...this?" You ask, tapping the reports on your desk once more.

Taking a deep breath, Wei slowly lifted their head to look you in the eyes; the look of someone with too little sleep, too much coffee, and far fewer fucks to give than is healthy staring right back. "We managed to crack the size easily enough, with some time spent implementing it in prototype units in a single production chain, a test to see how the new electronics would hold up in non-laboratory conditions."

"And that is how we got factories that talk with each other?" You dead-panned back, causing Wei to wince.

"Please don't say that. It is bad enough that the engineers are flooding the internal communications of Mingxiang with AI-Overlord Jokes; I do not need you to do the same. But, yes, that is how we got a specific factory module to check and update numbers with connected modules capable of planning in advance without human intervention, more than what Mingxiang can do right now due to a test of a new script being used."

"And what does that mean, concretely?"

"We have many things to look over and implement once we develop Mingxiang 2.0. But, aside from that, our medical sector is set to be the most productive and disturbance-proof industry in the world once it fully spools up."

A moment passed between you. Then you grabbed the anti-headache water with some protest from Wei, drinking it all in one long motion.

"And that would be all," Patrick Lussier said, adding a little bandage over the arm of the small girl bravely sitting before him without making a face despite having to endure several injections the past few weeks. "And here, because you were so brave," he added, handing the girl a bright-red lollipop with a small part of himself amusedly noting that she likely had been so brave because of said sweet. Grinning, the girl grabbed the sweet and thanked him in Guang, running out of the tent to her mother, who had finished getting a similar vaccine in the neighboring tent moments prior. "Next!" Patrick called out; a local nurse had told him the word for that in Guang when he had arrived. A man with a missing arm bearing the noticeable scars of a botched surgery walked into the tent, smiling with bad teeth and evident thankfulness, sitting down with a wince due to an obviously injured leg.

Back home, the man could have gotten the treatments he obviously needed. But, then again, he was here, in Guangchou, not France. Pulling out a new, fresh needle, Patrick carefully prepared for the vaccination, his mind going back to the day he had arrived with the others and the shock at the near-appalling state of the health of the people of Guangchou. He could still not understand how a nation had the money to create massive weapons far more advanced than any could dream of yet lacked even the most basic medical infrastructure. There had been African nations with better healthcare, for crying out loud!

Shaking his head, Patrick focused on the here and now; there were still three more hours before his first break and another twelve to be spent vaccinating this town.

"But why do I have to learn thaaaaat!" Zu whined, sprawled over the table in her new, much better home. She even had a whole room to herself! (Even if that was soon to change with the twin's mom would be having any day now, and her four other siblings planned.) "It is so boring and squishy!"

Sighing, her other mom lightly tapped her on the head with the papers she had taken from work. "Knowing how to dress wounds, clean them, and help unconscious people in emergencies is vital, especially when you can't get to a doctor. And you knew that learning how to deal with broken bones would not be pretty, yet you signed yourself in that program regardless."

Ugh, great, she was making her actions her fault once more. How could she have known it would deal with all that stuff? All she wanted was to be with Chu! "But moooooooooooom!" She tried, hoping that nagging would get her out, betting on having more energy than she patience.

"No. And complain again, and you will clean the apartment. Alone." Darn it.

Some would say that looking into the happenings and going on in the country of an ally is rather rude, especially if you make this in preparation for whether you want to send military forces there or not.

However, you required information about what was happening in China. Unfortunately, the information you receive is scattered, sometimes contradictory, and all-around bad news no matter which way you spin them unless you go full delusional mode. You don't do the latter, though, so you need more information.

You got that.

Alongside a headache due to drinking more booze than you should, trying to purge the memory of the reports you got and as a way to skirt your responsibilities you would now have to act upon.

The information you got was, at once, incredibly detailed on the goings-on and horrifyingly depressing in what is portrayed. In short, there were three "official" sides in the oncoming civil war.

Chairman Hua Guofeng led what could ostensibly be called the Communist Hardliners, internally a block of politicians unwilling to let go of the principles of the revolution and cause even if they would be able to attain valuable allies, military aid, or strategic wins by abandoning several programs pioneered to ensure that communism is one step closer than the day before. The CH is also the faction with the smallest military force. Most of the army seems either "neutral" or actively subsumed into the other two factions silently gearing up for a violent takeover. Helping them would require substantial aid, militarily and materially, yet enable you to push hard reforms through the hard power you'd wield over them thanks to your assistance.

The second faction is what can only be called Warlords 2.0. A collection of generals within the army that have, through one way or another, managed to veil their identities from investigations, yet managed to accrue undeniable power and allegiances from divisions and regiments, multiple provinces poised to declare their loyalty to the to be spared in the more-than-certain looting and reprisals to follow to those who resist their takeover. Their goal is to create an authoritarian workers' dictatorship, which, not unlike Guangchou, is backed by military might but wholly unchecked by any civilian governance in any way beyond those family members and allies sent to plunder the people for personal gain. Aid for them would be the least, and it would yield meager results to get them to put away any power they couldn't grab right back once they have established themselves.

The National Liberation Army, led by Hu Yaobang, is the last faction. They are, at once, the ones with the most popular support by the people and the ones most scattered around the country. They are also worryingly happy to accept aid from the West and seek a reconciliation with the Chinese Republic Exile Government in Taiwan, if not outright re-unification. Sending them assistance would be straight-up idiotic, as they see communism as a failed ideology designed to make them suffer. Yet, with a few accidents and friendly fire incidents, control could be usurped and melded to your purpose. Yet, it would be incredibly difficult to manufacture such and require planning and execution beyond what you are willing to trust on the off-chance that you'd get China under the thumb of Guangchou.

Regardless of which faction you'd choose to help, militarily or otherwise, the war will happen in the next year. If not sooner.

Sep 18th, 1980,
Cloudy, Cold, Light Rain
Excited, Shocked, Exhausted.

When we first arrived on the island, we were ushered into a small hall with several boards on the side of the room displayed prominently, numbers and locations, alongside photographs, pinned underneath the names of clinics and hospitals needing staff. After that, on a podium, a woman at the front welcomed us, thanked everyone for choosing to work in Guangchou, and then said that we could choose any position we'd like on the boards as they all needed to be filled.

That was exciting, with everyone quickly shuffling around to look at what positions we could gain, many hoping to get some of the more prestigious ones before the others would take them.

That excitement quickly turned into confusion at the sheer number of positions offered, with multiple hospitals saying: All Positions Open.

I should have taken the cue and marched back onto the boat and home. But instead, I took a position as a surgeon in a rural clinic alongside a nurse, hoping to get more experience in a less established clinic.

And now? I cannot leave. I have surgeries every hour that I am allowed to work, with the very second I can operate again, followed by correcting maladies, fixing damages, or any surgery that one could think about.

It is terrifying that healthcare has degraded in such a manner here, yet I cannot help but feel a sense of pride in my work. Every person I operate on needs my help; every life I save here is one I couldn't have saved back home. And, though it is a small part, I know that, in a few years, I will be one of the most experienced surgeons on the island, able to get senior positions in any hospital I wish to work in. But, of course, that is only outweighed by the number of lives I save.

"And what am I supposed to do with a cane?" You asked, raising an eyebrow at Wei as you looked over the black-green cane lying in a box between you, a hand lifting it up to look at the head closer. Oh, nice engravings. Foxes in a bramble, cute.

"To walk," Wei deadpanned back, chuckling as you rolled your eyes in response. "Oh, come on, you are getting old; you need to rest your weary and creaking bones, or you'll fall apart! Especially after a tiring workout!"

"I am in better health than when I was 17, and with nearly double the muscles too," you said, scoffing. "And after-workout exhaustion isn't something I need a cane for."

"Oh, but I wasn't talking about those workouts," Wei smugly said.

You looked at them. They waggled their eyebrows. You looked at Mai grinning at you from across the room, The Look on her face.

You took the cane without shame or hesitation.

Congratulations! Mai is pregnant with triplets!
...wait, no, you both got that snipped.
Congratulations! Jungmin walked with a limp for a week! Mai got through her catalog of things to try and wear! Both of them are even more insufferably in love with each other! The nation's birthrate increased once more...wait, why is that here?

"3G chickens got loose," they reply, out of breath, making you pick up your pace.

"The gravity ones?"

"Yup. The other ones had their security increased after the last breakout attempt," the scientist added, looking to the side to see another scientist join your party of fleeing people.

"Oh, you got the notification that the 3G chickens got loose?"

"I made that one," the first scientist replied.

"...oh. Uh, bad news then," came the reply. "The electricity ones got out too."

"Do I need to call the army?" You said, looking at the panting scientists with some worry, effortlessly keeping pace.

BA-BAWK!

"Yes."

To summarize a lengthy meeting where you took a more in-depth look at how your horde of offspring was doing in their respective schooling environments.

Ma Li managed to gain several friends, roping Bo Ni into various shenanigans that almost resulted in a forest being burnt down (by her re-telling of the story) or a bush catching fire, as Bo Ni tattled to you. Nevertheless, both were doing very well in school, with Bo Ni coming more and more out of his shell, getting comfortable with the other students, and finding some peers to spend time with, particularly in the art program offered.

Chaoxiang is turning out to be an utter delight to be around, according to her teachers, always polite and helpful, with Daiyu seemingly taking any chance he gets to play-act his favorite scenes from books and comics as the hero. Conversely, Hu has a quick mind, able to quickly learn anything he sets out to learn. Of course, each has some friends, but they are more close-knit than your other spawn.

Jangmi, Bara, and Mei are, all without fail, either asleep or too young to reach any conclusion about their developing character aside from being somewhat active in their groups and attentive to what is taught.

In short, you are as happy as a fish in water with their progress outside your home.

Despite the revelation of the Lupi still relevant and fresh in the minds of many, their appearance changed much yet changed little in the broader aspects of politics, especially within Europe. A bill six years in the making, drafted, changed, doctored, altered, and remade, does not vanish for something as silly as another human species entering the light of day, the names attached to its success seeing no reason to stall what they saw as a vital step into a brighter future, a securer future, one where European Nations wouldn't be reliant on a singular ally that seemed more and more unreliable to act in the case of war with each passing year.

Despite the difficulties in establishing Bill 27-C, it passed the vote of the European Parliament, with Greece, Portugal, and Spain entering the accords of Free Movement, Employment, and Research with much-lauded applause. Though many critics voiced that many nations were merely hoping to profit from the technologies that created the Lupi now being studied, few could deny the benefits the OEA brought. In the grand scheme, it was not all that major, merely an outgrowth of international politics reaching their conclusions, but one that seemed poised for greater things, as the Act gave the Parliament some teeth to pull its members along and some more observant commentators noted, a sense of progress and budding belonging amongst some people that reached across borders in a way it hadn't before, the blue flag with a circle of golden stars fluttering high above poles like a herald of change.

"What'cha lookin' at?" Wei Long asked, poking their head into my room, disturbing the comfortable gloomy darkness with the harsh lights from the corridor outside, stabbing me directly like a lance of legend.

"Close the damn door," I hissed quickly, shutting my eyes as the door closed with Long stepping inside. Then, taking a sip of my tea against the migraine I had for the last month, I allowed the sound from the TV before me to wash over the silence before I answered. "I am watching the inauguration of the new US President, Jimmy Carter," I add, causing Long to hum in appreciation of my answer, hopefully letting me nurse my hurting head in continued relative silence.

"Isn't Chen doing the same?" Nope, they were apparently in one of their chatty moods.

"Yes, but we need some redundancy to ensure translations are accurate. Can't have one agent with an agenda translating a statement of peace into a declaration of war, can we?"

"Instead, we have two?" Long quipped, making me snort as I looked at the screen where Carter had just finished his oath and stared at his wife.

"Well," Yang began to speak as half a world away, a man looked at his wife, now the First Lady of the US.

Years had been spent attaining this position, with bartering and trade even within his party only barely getting him the support needed amidst the uncertain times tearing at the unity of the United States. Even with the close race, one close enough that many among his opposition still called for a second recount, he had still won the presidency, intent on healing the rifts and cracks forming within the nation, setting it on a path to reconciliation and renewal. If all went well, he would not leave his successor a nation assailed by unrest, protests, crime, and extremists of every stripe spewing vile rhetoric and hatred on the streets and news. A small taste of ash entered his mouth as he remembered that he had to completely ignore the issue of the Lupi to win, every advisor telling him that speaking positively of the controversy, or at all, would not get him the voters that mattered, only those that would already vote for him anyway.

Looking back at Rosalynn, he smiled. Without her, he didn't know how he could have managed the months leading up to the vote, and his subconsciousness acted on the love before his conscious mind could react, a hand already lifting itself to grab her hand, a small gesture of intimacy shared between them.

The piece of metal fired from 1.3 kilometers away enters his head, passing through the thin outer layer of flesh to start piercing his skull, bone offering no protection from the projectile's kinetic energy. The nerves responsible for noting the pain and notifying the corresponding sectors of the brain to send their signals, scream at the hole that suddenly appeared within the previously healthy wall of cells. Said signals fail to reach their intended destinations, the neurons responsible already pulped by pressure exerted by the now malformed piece of metal, bone shards of his skull adding to the destruction as they slice through his brain, turning once vibrant fat, water, salt, and energy into a mush being dragged out the other side of his head. Thanks to the large hole, there is little reason to suspect the death of the 40th President of the United States of America was anything but instant.

Rosalynn Carter stands, sprinkled with her now dead husband's brain, blood, and bone fragments, a proud smile slowly fading as she realizes what has happened.

People watching the event worldwide, especially in the US, look on in utter shock.

The crowd watching the inauguration begins to panic as the Secret Service Agents nearby realize that they failed, for the second time in living memory, to prevent the assassination of an acting President, however brief it may be.

1.3 kilometers away, a man leaves, the information gathered from the clues left behind pointing at a black man with communist sympathies in New Orleans.

Two months later, Ronald Reagan became the 41st President of the United States, as the recount demanded by Republicans confirmed him to be what was requested.

(A good way of improving quality of life without needing to produce too many consumer goods is to implement a program where people can borrow more infrequently used goods from a central storehouse - things like vacuum cleaners, specialized cookware, hand tools, etc. The libraries can also double as social and entertainment spaces by including television or radio, depending on the size of the library and the number of people served. These activities draw people to the library, increasing their familiarity.)

(The Fateful Seal is designed as a top-break gas-seal revolver, using the Webley and the Nagant M1895 for inspiration. Research shows that as much as 26% of propellant gas escapes through the barrel and cylinder gap. Like more or less all gas-seal revolvers, the FS uses the cartridge case to seal the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. It uses a 13.2x55mmSR cartridge; the flat nose boattail bullet is 13.2 millimeters wide and 15 millimeters tall. It has a level on the right side, like the Webley revolver, and is used for the same purpose. Additionally, with the proposed 4.7-inch to 12-inch long barrels, the FS uses a combination detachable shoulder stock and holster and a 6-or-7-round cylinder.)

Cambered in an 8x40mmSR cartridge, the CF is designed to be as simple as possible while safely chambering its integral 10-round box fed with stripper clips. The handgun is supposed to be so simple that anyone who can rifle the barrel should be able to make the rest of the pistol with hand tools.)
--[] Spook's Squeak (Agent Pistol)

The Swedish Mauser provided the PF with its general shape, appearance, and stripper clip guide, the Lee-Enfield it's magazine and sling mounts, and the Fateful Seal gave the PF the base for its unique 12 g under-barrel revolver shotgun. The PF is meant to be able to use 40mm rifle grenades such as HEAT, HE, and Smoke, with the under-barrel shotgun supposed to be primarily used for riot control in police use and rear line units. Chambered in the same 13.2x55mmSR cartridge as the Fateful Seal, the PF is fed from a 10-round detachable magazine with a 25-inch barrel length and a 40-inch overall length.)
--[] The Militia's Friend (Cheap SMG)
(The MF is a crude SMG taking inspiration from the Sten, PPS, Swedish m/45 SMG, MP 40, and MP 3008. The MF, just like the CF, is meant to be used not by the military but by the militia forces of Guangchou. The Swedish m/45 gave the MF its general shape and appearance; the MP 3008 gave the shoulder stock; the PPS, its knowledge of curved magazines; the MP 40, the safety features and sling mounts; and the Sten, its simplicity. With a fire rate of 570 rounds per minute, it is chambering the 8x40mmSR cartridge from a 20 to 30-round detachable box magazine or a 50-round drum with a 20-inch barrel and a 28-inch overall length. The MF is designed to be as simple as possible while still safely chambering its cartridge, and it's supposed to be so simple that anyone who can rifle the barrel should be able to make the rest of the "submachine" gun; using hand tools.)
--[] The Soldiers Friend (Mainstay Select-Fire Rifle)
(The SF is a relatively simple select-fire rifle taking inspiration from the AVS-36, the Fedorov Avtomat, the BAR, and the FG 42. It is meant to be used by professional forces, not police or militia. The BAR provided the SF with its general shape and appearance, the FG 42, the operational and gas system, the Fedorov Avtomat, the magazine, the dust cover, the AVS-36, and the muzzle brake and sling mounts. The SF has a fire rate of 406 to 610 rounds per minute, chambering the 6.5x57mmSR cartridge fed from a 20 or 25-round detachable box magazine while possessing a 28-inch barrel and a 40-inch overall length. The SF is designed to be a reasonably uncomplicated weapon yet modern and meant to be the main arm of the military while still being cheap to produce.)
--[] The Guard's Arm (Costly High-Magazine SMG)
(The GA is a costly high-quality submachine gun taking inspiration from the Browning Hi-Power, the MP 40, MP 5, and the Conscripts Friend and is meant to be used by the secret service and the guards of various military-industrial and laboratory installations. The conscript's friend gave the GA its general shape and appearance, the MP 5 its action, the MP 40 gave the detachable muzzle ring, and the Browning Hi-Power gave it the detachable double-stack magazine alongside modern safety features. The weapon has a fire rate of 457 to 800 rounds per minute, chambered in a 6.5x30mmSR cartridge from a 10 to 30-round detachable double-stack magazine or 48-round detachable double-stack drum. The GA is 457mm in length, not counting the detachable shoulder stock, and has a detachable muzzle ring that can be unscrewed to attach a suppressor.)

(Right now, there's a wide variance in the effectiveness of your foreign intelligence agents, which suggests a need for more effective mentorship and information transfer from the more successful ones to the less successful ones. Formalizing a training program means institutionalizing the knowledge of your best agents (with a focus on industrial espionage in Japan) should go a long way toward delivering more reliable results. Of course, industrial espionage may not be as glamorous as the political and military games the CIA and KGB played. Still, it's easier and has a better long-term payoff for the nation. Furthermore, narrowing the focus to Japan due to proximity, an abundance of high-tech industry, and ease of letting your agents blend into the population allows us to get the most optimal results for the effort invested.)

(Gunagchow is an unholy combination of Chinese and Japanese, with enough loan words from Korean and Malay to make up a non-trivial portion of the overall syntax and more exceptions than English. And it's written with Hanzi characters that often don't match their Mandarin counterparts, and never mind that the grammar and word construction don't always line up. Even before the systematic destruction of the island's infrastructure by the IJN air raids, literacy in Guangchou was among the lowest in the Asia-Pacific - mainly because the language was simply a massive headache to learn. Before establishing a robust schooling system, we have a golden opportunity to correct this and grant the nation a competitive advantage in international relations in the future. [X] Commiewood: Sector General - Commiewood has gotten into the spirit of the Plan Goals and the recent reveal of the Wolfsmenschen by debuting a series based on the Sector General books written by Irish author James White. A medical drama with pacifist themes set on a hospital station in deep space where doctors of various species must treat an equally diverse cast of patients, Sector General was praised for its animatronic non-human aliens and its use of parabolic flight to simulate zero gravity (usually during rocket ambulance rides - holy shit you would not believe how much of the budget those ate).

[X] Commiewood: Sector General

(7 + 3 = 10 - Boosted)

Oh shit..... Well about that unrest...

So we can expect renewed and feverish international meddling eh?

[X] Commiewood: Sector General - Commiewood has gotten into the spirit of the Plan Goals and the recent reveal of the Wolfsmenschen by debuting a series based on the Sector General books written by Irish author James White. Now that things have settled down a bit compared to the hustle and bustle of managing the Sino-Soviet reconciliation, your friends have thrown you a belated birthday party to mark your big 3-0. You're not old; you're not old! (You are old.)
Wei has gifted you a cane.

You and Mai check in on what your kids have been up to at school. [X] Commiewood: Sector General

I am legit happy that the man's work even though it was made by communists was enough to make him proud of it.

Someone just framed an african american communist for the assassination of Jimmy Carter. The whole world is going to react. Intel agencies are going to be busy for a very long time. God I hope this doesn't cause wwIII

Should the Healthcare report still be at -4 (currently Collapsing)? I noticed that we've gone from ----- to ---, which I think should be Severe Shortage?

To add to that, will it also further decrease over time (maybe an additional -) as things start to go in full operation?

On a different note, Im no American, so can anyone tell what are the potential ripple effects this'll have compared OTL aside from the WW3 risk increasing or cold war getting hotter at the very least? Are there certain noteworthy laws acts or events that will no longer happen with carter dead? What was he like as a president anyway?
