Yeah, that was another thing I thought we should do, avoid any themes of capitalism, communism, and anything else which could offend china or the USA in our first few films. Making the Villains of the first film we make Nazis would be one way ot do that because everyone hates them.

I think we should actually make a TV show not a movie. Specifically Cosmos from the Looking Back interlude.

It'll be basically Open_Sketch's Torchships: The Show.
After a limited nuclear exchange, both the USA and USSR were forced to work together and the process of environmental reconstruction that necessitated everyone working together brought about word socialism. In the distant year 2100, the diverse crew of the star-ship Rosetta is setting out to explore the vastness of space: to make contact with alien civilizations, deal with new ethical dilemmas, and overcome imperialist powers through the power of friendship.

Hmmm. If we only do one action this turn, does that still wipe out the total reputation cost? I'm thinking we might load up on rep heavy actions to save us the cost later on, and then actually finish their chains over the next few turns.

Fair, I still think we should put mechs into it to introduce our people to the concept and get them familiar with it, as well as to see if anyone comes and asks questions about that part of it.

You'll have to pay the costs of Mega-Projects every Turn you do them, but can negate that by slotting in more than one Action.

Why 10 actions when it only needs 8? Because when rolling that many dice some are bound to give bad results, and by hedging out bets and overcompensating, we can hopefully avoid paying an extra -15 Rep penalty the turn after when there's only 1 or two actions that are left to complete.

Can we assign actions for this to overflow into in case the dice gods smile on us?

edit: Reduced the number of actions going to CyberSyn on account of that fact that megaprojects use the average dice roll, and moved it to Industrial Espionage which will be good for catching up to the west in terms of electronics manufacturing techniques and will probably help with our torpedo batteries.

Also added an action to follow up on the missing sex tapes.

I've also listed the relevant bonuses to help gauge our chances of success.

want to save it for next turn to use on revamping the school system. I'm inclined to bank it, but I'm open to suggestions.

edit: Here's an alternative plan that swaps Espionage for Education, it's a 1 Rep difference and having a sub-vote might be nice since the turn summary will be pretty bare otherwise?

Yeah, that would be nice to know. Especially since that the only reason we have reached our target is the US reparations, so that timer is going to be our deadline for bringing up our food level another notch by ourselves. Otherwise we're going to slip back down to below our target when the reparations finish.

You don't get any bonus for additional actions, only upgrades to your existing infrastructure. The reparations are not enough to aid you in that.

Yay, though it seemed so much of everything failed to to tsunami and the overwork malus

Now that we have fooded secured, we can lighten up on it's focus (though it is important we keep investing in it) and start to work on our actual industry. It's very good we have 2 foundries now, as building rail roads and buses as well as light industry should possibly be our next step. Maybe some aerospace investment or military to fulfill our ambition to see space?

Hetalia: Guangchou Edition
All things are, sooner or later, given a personality and made into a person to make comics with. So create an omake in which the world of Hetalia reacts to little Guangchou, either at the time of revolution, Jungmins ascension to Great Leader, the Iwo Jima Crisis of '74, or another theme to your liking.
(Up to +8 to any category depending on the Omake)
... OK so, if I remember right Hetalia is nation-people right? So I see Guangchou as a super happy go lucky, flamboyantly bi-sexual person of indeterminate gender. Normally very chill, but when provoked pulls out a fucking iron tiger suit to stomp people with. Also on par with Russia during winter in terms of "Places you shouldn't invade". As for situations that could be amusing to see this as... I feel like a scene of Guangchou digging up a box full of old German stuff and starting to tinker with it, in the background a totally normal day in the world of hetalia, where Guangchou is just slowly building up a massive mechsuit behind the other countries while they're doing something else and no one seems to notice. Might end up writing this omake, probably won't though since I've got a lot to do today.
While I don' quite think I could write it. Well, I could totally see Cold war Guanghou as the chipper, surprisingly calm and affable minor nation that leaves everyone scratching their heads, with varying levels of suspicion, while Guanghou is kitbashing together a mech and setting the groundwork for SPACE!
