Super Robot Quest

[X] Plan Almost as Planned with more Swording

Fight going rough? Time to bust out the new toy!

...considering that most giant robot anime were a vehicle to sell toys, that might not be hyperbole.

I mean, Takara did it all the time with the Brave series, so…

Sam: Merchandise it. Merchandise it!!

Anyhoo, I'll get to rolling dice sometime soon-ish.

Highway Robbery - Rounds 4-6 Rolls
I am adding this text in the front of the spoilers because the board decided that hiding my text inside of spoilers did not count as having enough to contribute. Let's try it this way!

One. I am never doing these rolls in one sitting ever again. Holy hell that took awhile.

Second of all: Also holy hell, I was not expecting that final roll from the Timberwolf. Timberwolf is stronk.

Narrative post is likely to come tomorrow or in the next few days.

domon Richard: This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! It's loud roar tells me to defeat you! Take this! My love! My anger! And all of my sorrow!

Indeed, Timberwolf is the current definition improbable strength. Wonder how much of that is coming from Callaghan's psych ability...

Quick edit: @Basarin, is Bandit dead or knocked out?

Oh yeah we got Bandit primary objective completed! Now just to turn him over to the Legion since I'm sure they'll do a far better job at keeping him contained and making sure he can't escape.

Poor start of the fight, nice ending of the fight.

Going too need some time too fix all the damage but hey at least we smoked a bandit

Paper work for this is going to be a doozy. Bandit has been defeated and captured if not outright killed. the other one got away but he wasn't our primary target anyway.

Well, the knock-on effects of taking out Bandit on the Free Brothers' logistics should be interesting. Less surprise toys for them to use at the very least. Slowly whittling their advantages. Oracle Support? Matched. Numbers? Alliance counters more and more over time. Tech Quality? Bitch we are the DFRI and we just crippled one of there procurement specialists(Granted this will probably cause the FB to work more closely with the Westies).

I'm definitely looking forward to the narrated fight.

Also, might need to refresh my memory on the quest, but I ponder at the possibility of a G Gundam reference with Inferno Mode.

(Granted this will probably cause the FB to work more closely with the Westies).
Unlikely, since Bandit was their line of contact with them. And no one else bothered with reaching out to humans either.

Also taking into account that Bandit was someone clever enough to know how to bribe Tyranous into approving and supporting independent operations, their ability to act cohesively outside of Tyranous taking direct action just nosedived considerably.

It'll take time to fill that hole in the Free Brother heirarchy.
