I didn't even vote, admittedly was already very one sided so it wouldn't have mattered much, and also the general idea is that if he does get anything from the Zeti, it would be the same electromagnetic manipulation that they have. Presumably allowing him to use it to protect himself. And Zomnom isn't exactly the smartest tool in the shed.

Being completely honest however, this is the one area where how the Raid mechanics kind of don't work in our favor.

We can't exactly make any kind of plan of how to best use our units. We just list them and the heroes and that's it. No plans or strategies. Just raw mechanics.

If we could plan a defense and strategy, then there would honestly be a lot more confidence on my part of Metal Sonic being able to get them by surprise. Because…that's kinda the point of what he did in Sonic Heroes. Tactically getting Bio-Data without getting caught. But we can't do that. Since you just ask us for a list and the heroes and you decide what happens.

Sorry if the raid mechanics seems this way and actuallty do work agaisnt you.

I will admit i don't allow more in depth strategizing and write ins for this, mostly cause of my lack of experience with Battles and doign battles like this. I admit this is the most I'm familiar with.

I rather let the dice deicde the flow of the story and that's why for raids you just oikc the teams and the doce occurs to see what happens.

If the current raid mechanics doesn't seem to work will try to change them for future raids. but please, bear with us during this battle.

Also on the aprt of not allowing metal Sonic what he did in Heroes...well that's because doing it as a sort of game balance, if not you could obtain the biodata of pretty busted characters pretty easy way to fast.

Like telling you know, Metal might not seem as impressive right now, but he is one of your units that can snowball like crazy once he gets going. That's why have to balance him a bit.

TBH the Zeti are honestly the only thing that mess with the system in general with us, mostly due to these guys being hard counters for us.

If we were fighting someone like say Curien or Max outside of certain trumps cards they have it is actually a lot more bearable and fair

I understand completely. And it's fine. It's not a gripe against you or any of the other QMs. But I'd be a liar to not say that it definitely does make things a bit harder. Still it's fine, it's your quest and whatever works for you is what you gotta do. It's not like your actively screwing us over or anything. It is what it is.

Just was a point to be made, especially in this scenario.

Neo Metal supremecy...all the way!

i hope we dont get screwed by the dice here...or we have to rebuild metal. or recapture him.

Won't know until after the Weekend….or one of the GMs gives us a preview at the rolls themselves that will likely send us into a panic or cheer depending on the context.

Let's hope for cheer.

You know I was looking in the DC roll Zavok did to raid our base.

If I understand right Zavok has a power of 32, and perhaps Zamon has a Power of 30 if I understand the roll rights.

They just give us a number. Not a 100 or a 1, something more in the center like 64. They don't even tell us who rolled the dice, we just know someone, on one of the sides rolled a 64.

You know QMs I think one grip about Raids is that fortificartion is kinda... useless?

Like it seems only to affect national action roll instead of being part of the battle despite saying we put a ton of traps and such.

Like it would make sense if anyone that does a raid against a fortified territory have mallus on they combat rolls since thay have to avoid traps, mines, gun enplacements and so on.

It would continue this mallus until they get rid of the fortifications in battle.

Can you guys at least tell if Metal is screwed or not? Those comments are really scary

Fair enough, ask and you should receive:

Zomom uses trait:
Zeti Magnetism: All Zeti have the natural ability to manipulate magnetic fields which, somehow, allows them to take control off electronics, robots, and other machinery within their range. (Zomom can use his Mystic in attempt to take control or disable electronics, robots, or machinery.)

Zomom roll-Attempt to control Metal Sonic

Result: 1d100 (60) + 2(???) + 24 (???)+ 10(???)
Total: 96

Metal Sonic-Resist Zeti's control (Heart Check)
Result: 1d100 (93) + 0(Metal Sonic Heart) + 10(Obey EGGMAN!)
Total: 103

Zomom Bare failure!
Metal's Ego is too big for a Zeti to handle!
