The assumption is that they would bond over making Badniks.
Also take I. Mind, if you end up rolling low on the talk with Belle personal, that's do might affect how the building Badniks go if you assign Belle.
You assuming the Personal will go alright/without issues. And while it's good to hope that, there's no 100% guarantee on the dice not fucking you over.

Yeah but quest are all about risk and there's always the chance we fail in all our actions as well simple due luck.
So it's never going to be a 100% guarantee anyway.
Edit: I don't known if sending Belle to try to recreuit someone to do Eggman's work or negotiate on his behalf is a good idea since she's not even sure what to think about the guy and that hardly make the best negotiator and recruiter.

You just made it sound like Eggman and Belle bonding was the only outcome and that is something I had to comment that no, it's a real, actual possibility possible to things to go wrong, very bad, very fast.

I think we're going to steal the Lance since we aren't really going to bother gathering funds, and we weren't going to bring Badniks I think.

Being a person despised by the dice I can concur.
Unfortunately we don't really have any other options, as much as I'd like to ensure it goes well we can't really do anything. It might go horribly but it's the only choice we have.

That's a adventure you have to send minions and you would not send one Shadow Android but a whole squad of them and they do carry debuff since they will take time to gloat against almost defeated foes.
Also my plan does involve gather funds by the way.
Edit: it seem needless overcomplicate in doing this where is more easy ways in acqyiring the Relic, for me, to buy the Lance and get out there as quick as possible when people come looking for it without needing to fight the whole Auction plus we can make useful contacts on there as well and that's always useful since we are starving for allies at the moment.

The action make very clear it's a squad you are building not a single badnik.
Also we should consider gather funds, Fang will also sell ragnite he acquire and if we have enough money we can buy a whole crate of raw ragnite without needing to mine it.
Plsu not to mention potential contacts we can make there.

I know we have a +10 in recruiting a hero, +10 to Recruit Majima, +10 Talk to Restoration, +5 in any Heart action involve the Restoration. A small bonus in a Belle Personal Action or Nation Action (don't remember each one now). While also having a minir bonus in one of Metal's actions also don't remeber if is to PA or NA.
I think that's pretty much it.

As a Co-QM, I can step in to say The develop a counter Personal only works for characters who become Eggman's Hero Units.

Wait...i just thought of something. Shadow under normal circumstances would never SHOULD never side with Black Doom save for a few Dark Endings in the Shadow the Hedgehog game.
But Canaan is looking for a young lady called Maria with Blonde Hair.
If my hunch is correct that this isn't a Shadow the hedgehog PS2 variant, but rather a Bad End version of Shadow from Sonic X Shadow Generations...perhaps there's a way to counter Shadow. Or rather a way to get him to stop working with black doom.

We were already going to recruit Canaan and look into 'Maria' and if we find her...yeah that just might give us a handle on Shadow.
Unless he's been subsumed entirely (and even then) Maria should be enough to bring him back.

Another reason to not put Belle in Hearts is simple as well, she's not exactly sure what Eggman is even about and is utterly confuse what she should think about him. Suffice to say try to recruit someone or negotiate in the behalf of the doctor with this mindset is not exactly a good idea.
Plus Agent Stone has trait that negate a critical failure so we don't run the risk of permanent losing a chance to recruit someone nor rising the dice thnaks to a bad roll.
Also Eggman should definitely try to find use for Rings besides a power source in ArchieComcis they could be used to heal people as well from deadly diseases and even grant knowledge if you know how to use them, even if Eggman fail in the action it would lower the roll and this defintily need to be taken.
Edit: plus Fang will also sell other goodies he manage to klelp from the Empire besides the Lance so we should try to gather funds plus it's also a opportunity to open diplomatic contacts with other factions if we manage to do that.
