What is the most important thing to ask in character?
Please take into account the vague if accurate nature of this sort of thing when considering the question.
We should not ask something we can find out ourselves. At least not easily.
...Actually we could ask about Selvaria. Even in character we have good reason. After all she is the biggest threat left in Green Hills. Even if it was with help she beat Neo Metal. And with the Six and Arms out of the picture (or soon to be), she is the biggest threat we have.
Memories might end up in vague uselessness, kindness and control we can figure out ourselves.
But Selvie? Only way we'll figure her out is out-of-context information. If nothing else we'll probably learn about the Final Flame. We really need to know about that.

I much prefer the about some hint about the mystery of the Shattered Memories, we need some sort of clue to star handking the situation and I very mych sure this could also help Shadow and is linked to the nature of the Shattering.
Starline only did a patchwork at best and Eggman knows he's receiving memoreis from alterntive counterparts, dreams of events that never happen and blackouts.
Even before the Raid Eggman is concerned about what happen to him according to Side stories.
I pretty sure a painful demise or a lonely life.

Here's how I think the question for the shattered memories would be asked by Eggman.
"What is the ideal way for me, Eggman, to take control of these shattered memories that are plaguing me, so that I won't suffer from any negative consequences from them?"

i can see "can kindness and control exist together?" as a question that bothers him, but is out there just enough that eggman can simply pose it as both philosphical and intention enough to try and get a read on.
We do know she took Neo Metal down, and with all other threats accounted for she's the only one we need to worry about.
She beat NEO METAL SONIC. Eggman would want to know as much as he can about her, if only so he can take her down.
Though I'm fine with these too.

He does not knwo the name of condition or what's happening to him.
He know he get headaches, memories, balckouts and apperently alternative counterpats take control of his body by small amount of time.
Eggman is someone that trives in controlling stuff, the fact something is influecing him in a fundamental way and lose control of his own body probably would be disturbing for him in some levels.
I mean I certanly would be disturbed if something were happening to me this way and would search everywhere to have a clue why this is happening and make it stop.

This sound sounds like a topic that would deeply disturb him in some ways and want a solution orbat least a hint for a solution.
He may even be desperate enough to even ask for a Fortune Teller about it since he does not have the facilities to study it and he himself is being chnaged by them as well.

Honestly, I am with the second one here or "can kindness and control exist together?" both of those feel right for Eggman right about now.
Unironically it's because Eggman would want to know what the hell is causing it that he'd not ask that unless he has no other option. Eggman's not someone who believes in magic, so unless it's easily verifiable or something that is so out of left field no on should reasonably expect it, I don't think Eggman would ask.
Kindness and Power is just an idle curiosity that happens to fit with "no one would expect this question from me."

What he is asking Elizabeth is more as curiosity, in case she is the real deal. Its not a shot in the dark HoPing for a miracle answer.

Part of the reason I don't want to ask about our memory problem is the reasoning that Kingster gave us for not worrying too much about Archie Eggman. "There's no reason being afraid of the inevitable." We'll get our answer sooner or later. Perhaps as a result of the Council of Eggs Achievement.

TBH Eggman would have both hope and probably terrified of meeting Gerald.
He modeled his life after the man in the end and was pretty much his idol growing up.
But there is also the fear, the fear that instead of meeting one of the greatest man in the scietific field, he could instead meet the man which wanted nothing more but to destroy the human race for what GUN did.
