[] Observe Audio/Visual Recordings (Metal Sonic)
[] Clean/Organize The Doctor's Things (Agent Stone)
[] Moving Day (Belle)
[] Get Some Ice Cream (Clove)

Alright, let me go down the list.

  • ... I didn't know what to do for Mystic. Eggman sucks at it, and so does all of our other units. I thought gambling on some magic shenanigans would be better than grabbing more rings.
  • Eggman's personals are all in the interest of preparing for the future. Work out, tinker, make blueprints, struggle to communicate with the machine that isn't our daughter. That sort of stuff.
What do you guys think? Any criticisms or suggestions?

I like this plan but I still think we should swap the Belle action because she is going to be very unhappy with future conquest.
We may also want to go for the conch with Starline.

At this point, Raiding the Empire is already a given, however I think we should give the job to Rusty Rose. The DC isn't so high it needs Metal, and by not sending Metal, we would not lose as much element of surprise as we would otherwise.

This seems like it might be a good idea.

Ok I'm convinced. I'm currently changing my plan (Resource acquisition and saving a sick child.) to have "Look for the cacophonic conch" as it's trickery action. Still open to changes for the hero recruitment selection as I have no strong opinions because I don't know many of the tier 3 options.

Anyways, QM, can we assign Hero Units to Actions that can't be affected just for flavor text? Like assigning Belle to the Auto Success Building Badniks so that she can have bonding time with Eggman?

The Empire already knows Eggman is around or at least have some knowledge about he Doctor since Neo Metal Sonic, according to the QM, did proclaim he was conquering them in the name of Doctor Eggman in the background

Given that it's not much a surprise if Metal attack them plus we are only attacking one of the Work Camps not all of them, so people do know Metal is around at least and fully expect him to return since the Robot is very resourceful.

Not only that certain parties already notice Mr. Thinker has disappeared at worst we may tip off GUN but this level of laying low is somewhat unheard for Eggman, Sonic did have trouble believing the doctor was back in IDW earlier issues since it lacks his usual bragging, Dr. Eggman never was a man that stay hidden for long.

Neo Metal Sonic did assume control of the Empire in the absence of the doctor, they may believe the machine repair themselves into his base form due to lack of resources and now is just lashing out against the Empire. Nothing prove Eggman is around and most people are not aware how little independence the machine has thansk to the loaylty software, most think Metal Sonic has gone rouge and is doing whatever he wants, as he did in Heroes.

Also Metal mallus in trying to prove he's the "real" sonic will affect him in three turns and I am not sure what we can do to satisfy his drive so we may as well use him while he have no debuffs.

Say, has the QM told us what the benefits of contacting Captain Metal? Would he become just another Hero Unit, or would he and his crew become an ally faction like G.U.N or Restoration if we contacted them? Is it possible for Captain to be our Metal Supplier?

The Heart action says we'd possibly open up a collaboration action with him so presumably he'd just be an ally.

Would unlock Possibility of obtaining collaboration actions with Captain Metal like GUN and The Restoration just did.

Still would give us anomity. There's a BIG difference between a suspicion and a confirmed threat. Beside, it's not about tricking the Empire, it's about keeping the rumor of Eggman returning from spreading to Zavok. Mr. Tinker might be gone, but nobody knows what happened to him. He might be kidnapped, or for all they know got flattened under some land that appear on top of him during the shattering. Keeping the fear from becoming a fact is my main goal here.

As Co-QM, unfortunately gonna have to step in and say no.

For now at least, the Orbot and Cubot Trait is the only way to do more than Action in a category.
... Can that action be a repeat of the same action? Like can we take the same action twice in a category?
Tier 3
Goro Majima DC 70
Canaan DC 60
Dr. Bad-Boon DC 45
{Nephthys the Vulture DC Autopass}
Because if that's the case I think having both of the Bots doing an auto pass recruitment might be a good idea... especially if she is a tier 3

Metal is resourceful and has a historic of independence so it fully expected him to survive and attack the Empire in revenge for what happen to him.

Zavok never met Metal Sonic and he would have the files of the doctor from during the war so the only thing he knows was that Metal was meant to help the doctor and he try to assume leadership with the disappearance of Eggman.

Metal return is fully expected and not many would think much to see him around. I mean Metal has somehow made his way towards Eggman's current base so people would see he him surviving his match against the Empire and Black Arms.

Have to comment on this, at the very least, Empire and Black Arms(Shadow) have confirmed visual that Metal was destroyed in the fight. And GUN and The Restorstion assume that Metal is either destroyed too or not in a combat state cause ither wise no way Zavok would have taken the empire from him or if he was operable why the heck isn't Zavok fielding him.

Also you have to realize, there aren't many canon characters in Sonic universe that can fix Metal,(only Eggman and Tails) less on the empire side. When you consider crossover characters from other setting the story is different thought.

Still doesn't give any reason why Metal NEEDS to be the one to do it. It's only DC 50. Metal or Rusty, they both had a good chance of clearing it. There's more advantage of sending Rusty instead of Metal.

Edit: Well, what do you know? Everyone thought Metal was destroyed.

Cubot and orbot can only be assigned to logistics Actions.
QM, can Bell be assigned to Building Badniks action even though it's Auto Success just for flavor text?

Sure, will only be for flavor. Don't expect many or any benefits on that.

Also the badniks are using animal batteries, so she will definitely take a issue building them until we upgrade them to ring power at least.

So is possible people to not connect Metal return to Eggman?

Yeah but Rose is a cyborg version of Amy and the Restoration definitely knows about Cyberdirizations thanks to Clove and Nephthys interviews when they wanted amensty, so they see a cyborg Amy is even more blatant that Eggman is around.

We are using power cores, not animal batteries outside of the one that was already in place by the chaos council, literally both Rusty and Metal are rurnning on those at the moment.

Animal batteries is when we are really dry from resources and even then, we don't have any animals at the moment.

No doubt that if we wanted to use animal batteries first we would need to use an action to capture animals in the first place.

At this point I am almost convinced you are arguing just for arguing sake. We have long past the time we used animal for energy, we have energy cores. Secondly, we are no longer the only mad scientist that exist. There's a lot of other robots walking around that is not made by us right now. If Metal comes back, the minds would immediately go to us as prime suspect, with Rusty we are only one among many, which is the truth because we did not build Rusty.

Also there's a reason to acqiire lot's of money, Fang will sell other artifacts besides just the Lance per his annoucement so we may possible to grab other goods as well.

What? Since when?

Was it not confirmed Eggman is using animal batteries since we lack most of his infrasteucre so we revert to the classics for now or I was mistaken?

Hey I was just asking since the QM mention there's other mad scientist around thay could fix Metal in this crossover setting.

Also not a lot of people would built a robot Amy as well, Eggman did create once a Metal Amy, and there's a anternative version of himself that engage in cybernetic enhancement since the Restoratuin would at keast know about since they interrogate the former Egg Bosses.

Hey how does the loyalty bonus work?
From the turn 1 results it seems Starline got a +3, but checking the hero unit list I see a loyalty of 40?
Opinion:

Opinion: a way to track how much a Hero Unit like Eggman, as well as how likely it is for them to do the tasks that you assign them to.

This indicator can go from -100 to 100, and depending what's the current opinion of a respective hero unit, they might get Bonuses or Maluses when doing actions.

Eggman as you may know is a…controversial figure in the world of Sonic, everyone has heard of him and his great feats and that has caused most citizens to have a pretty negative view of him, expect most Hero Units recruited from this setting to have a low to negative opinion of Eggman.

As mentioned above, the value that Opinion has will give hero units a particular boost or decrease to rolls, here is the scale:

  • 0: Don't give any bonus, because the person doesnt have a strong opinion or you/doesnt really care, so no bonuses.
  • -1 to -25 and +1 to +25: Gives a -/+10% decrease/increase in the relevant stat, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • -26 to -49 and +26 to 49: Gives a -/+15% decrease/increase in the relevant stat, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • -50 to -74 and +50 to 74: Gives a -/+20% decrease/increase in the relevant stat, rounded down to the nearest whole number.
  • -75 to -100 and +75 to 100: Gives a -/+25% decrease/increase in the relevant stat, rounded down to the nearest whole number.

To make clear, having 100 opinion in a hero unit wont mean that they will do all that you say all the time, they still are people and have their own thoughts and preferences…unless they are robots programmed to follow all of Eggman's orders. In that case, you have nothing to worry about.

Depending how high or low the loyalty is, a percentage of the used stat is added.

For example. Last turn Starline did a trickery action, and cause he had 40 loyalty he adds a 0.15% of the stat to the roll.

Does that explain it?
