So i was looking at some lore on dragons in D&D and this story it made me wonder what are the Epic Dragons(Prismatic,Force,Time,Stellar) doing while everything is going on with the rest of their Species in this story if you dont mind me asking.

Just so it's clear to everyone who, like Missy, doesn't quite understand what is meant in medieval justice by "Hard Labor," a sentence of Hard Labor of more then a few weeks is generally understood to mean "we don't want to be seen executing you, so instead we will work you to death, and expect it will take less then this amount of time for you to die."

The Lady didn't want to upset Missy, but she did indeed sentence the idiot to death.

(Looks up Honda Vespa)
... Huh. Okay...

Knowing that "vespa" translates to "wasp" in Italian, her pulling out a spear means she's got quite a sting, and the reach to enforce it.

At least she wasn't named after the WW2 bomber, Aichi B7A 流星

Eh, maybe. Someone running around Sigil in the first place is going to be a bit tougher than the average mook in a "normal" fantasy world.

But I don't think Missy is that worried about it - the guy did fire off an anti-personnel weapon in a crowded market after all.

On the other hand, probable wizard. Who are not exactly known for their physical strength and hearty constitution.

Would Missy ride into battle ridding her giant corgy Raj Whitehall style?
Once a week, for six hours. It is, indeed, a figurine of wondrous power : Onyx Dog. Unlike your standard FoWP:OD, which is a mastiff in leather, this one is a little... off. Probably made by the archmage, Acme the Insane (creator of the Wand of Anvils and other such fine magic items...)

Rachel would probably approve, though her power wouldn't be able to affect the Dire Corgi. She might actually chortle, though.

What are the epic dragons doing? Sore wa himitsu desu! (That's a secret!)

Wait a minute, who let Xellos in here...?

Re: Two Years Hard labor in the Farms district means working on the Apple Farm for 16 hours a day for the next 720 days. Jackie and crew won't work 'em to death, but if they don't work, they don't eat. At least he isn't headed to join a clean out crew in the Twilight Quarter, where you can run into all sorts of fun things... Vampires, Wights, Wraiths, the ocassional unwanted Lich... No demi-liches, though. She homes in on them and smears them across all the known planes of existence rather quickly. IOW, he'll be worked quite hard, and probably won't die. He probably won't escape, either.

If she's anything like Guenhwyvar, time away from the Astral will increase as she gets older.

Wierd question. In this version of Sigil. Are the old factions like the Dustmen around? Cause seriously having missy react to some of them might make her question her sanity lol. Gods i miss the sheer insanity that is planescape

Re: Old Factions in Sigil - They were all forcibly -removed- by The Lady, or pre-emptively removed by civic minded citizens of the City about half a century prior. Right now, the only faction is Hers. The Watch is run by Her trusted servants, and amounts to a loosely organized police force / militia consisting of a diverse number of races. For instance, some of the winged beings Missy saw healing were Devas, along with quite a few paladins and clerics.

Basically, you have The Lady, The Gold Medallions, the caretakers and the Watch. There is no lord Mayor, though there is a city council that deal with the very minor, low level matters of the city. They're allowed to exist because they stick to the rules : 1) Don't Worship Her, 2) Don't take over the Ring, 3) Don't actively proselytize within the Ring. To fail to do so is to suffer a horrible, agonizing DEATH.

Re: The Guy with the Wand - Definitely a rogue, not a wizard. While most Wizards who call Sigil home have a townhouse in the city, their lab and workshop are away from the place, usually in the mountainous edges of the ring. For a small fee, they can even get a connecting portal between the two. Most do not, instead relying on a few servants to handle matters in the city whilst they are busy in the lab.

Also, re: The number of survivors in the Bazaar - I rolled low for damage, OK? Also, the few who didn't make their saves were the ones who needed medical attention, and even then, it wasn't Napalm burns bad. As to why the clothes got destroyed? Rule of Funny. If you haven't figured it out yet, I tend to go for the absurd result, because RL is too depressing at times and we all need a chuckle or two. Which is why you get things like... a dire Welsh Pembroke Corgi. In plate barding, with spikes. :)

One particular tavern, The Slaughtered Lamb, was reputed to have at least one location on every plane of existence

I wonder if there's a plane of existence which consists of nothing but a town/city of multi-planar businesses.

Also, which way from The Slaughtered Lamb to Callahan's Crosstime Saloon?

I'd guessed "probable wizard" because they used the fireball wand in a crowded area of Sigil. Which says to me either high level rogue, mid level bard, or arcane caster. Even low level wands tend to be unreliable until mid-levels (assuming you have a high charisma) if you're using UMD in 3.5 edition. And in 2nd Edition it took until a fairly high level to have even a 50% chance to activate a wand if you were a thief or bard. Since the person with the wand clearly has a lowish wisdom due to using the wand in a crowded area of Sigil and trying to rob someone favored by The Lady of Pain... I figured they can't be that high of a level. Which leaves Wizard or Sorc. And of those two options, I figured a sorcerer would likely have tried intimidating Missy and Vespa due to having a fair bit of charisma. Thus, probably a wizard... but could be some other class.

How is Asmodius taking advantage of everything going on because this is a situation that i would think that he would be making moves especially since the Gods are getting involved (or any of the other Lords of the Nine Hells) but mostly Asmodius since he is the Epitome of Lawful Evil and is your Version still a Greater Deity

@Rockinalice :

Ol' Greasy Beard has a slight problem...

When he broke his agreements with Tiamat, quite literally all Hell broke loose. All contracts agreed to in the Nine Hells are binding, with dire consequences on the one who does it.

Tiamat's last gift was to effectively slag most of Avernus, while taking most of Hell's treasury with her. While you can still get to Avernus from the Astral, and it's gate town in the outlands (which, by the way, looks like it got hit by a middling sized nuke, with most of the town relocating a day's travel away, but the gate, which is fixed in the old town, has radioactive glass oozing out of it), the way the gates between layers are set up, no one can get out. The gate to the second layer is under seven leagues (approx. 21 miles, or 34 km) of molten, radioactive glass. Also, the arrival point on the second plane is simply missing. The only devils able to get around are the dukes & archdukes, and a few of the more powerful pit fiends. But they can't leave the nine Hells, only move around between layers 2-9.

Avernus itself is not a nice place right now; think of an ocean of radioactive, molten glass. For the moment, the Blood War has come to a stop. No One wants Avernus right now. Tiamat's loyal legions of Abishai in the fringes are the only semblance of order on the plane. The two archdevils who had taken Tiamat's position of ruler of Avernus are now Lemures in Cania for the next thousand years. Avernus is simply deathly quiet. The only activity you find is on the river Styx, which flows through the edge of the plane. Even then, where the slag has met the river, it is simply of plain of radioactive glass, crowded with Lemures simply left there to rot.

What did Avernus do to piss off Tiamat that badly?

Also, yikes to the radioactive leftovers. Sounds like her breath weapon is hot enough to produce fusion byproducts.

Isn't there supposed to be a city between the walls of reality where you can buy anything? I think a certain lewd TV show/ Plot Device operates from there as well.

Avernus is simply deathly quiet.
I guess even the Radio Station is no longer running...

(seriously, if you go there on 'Neverwinter' there is a radio station to listen to while riding around on your 'infernal Machine' Temp-Mount.

I don't know about tv shows, but the epic level handbook had the City of Union, which was a city owned/operated by the Mercanes where all are welcome to visit and do business, so long as business is not disrupted. Not quite as cool as Sigil, but still cool.
While I love Sigil and Union has utility, The World Serpent Inn has to be one of my favorite locations in the DnD Multiverse. An inn with entrances everywhere and the main entrance could be anywhere.

Not Avernus, but Asmodeus.

As to what Tiamat did, as a final flipping of the bird to him...

Well, how much destruction would be wrought by the complete annihilation of 11,000 metric tons of matter?
(E=MC^2, E, in MJ = Mass in Kg * Speed of Light Squared. E = 11,000,000 x 89,875,517,873.681764 = ...
988,630,696,610,499,404 MJ... or the explosive force of 236,288,407.41168725491 Megatons of TNT. Easily a world sterilizer.)
(My math may be incorrect; feel free to correct me, but don't make a derail out of it...)

She basically gated in the equivalent of her weight in anti-matter just as she left.

Her state of mind at the time could best be described as... Very Upset.

Well, that's one way to drop the mic and bring the house down.
