Out of curiosity would a Kunna be able to replace a missing limb?

Like if someone with a wood Lunna lost an arm would they be able to replace it with a functioning wooden arm?

Turn 2, Summer Set-Up
The summary will come this evening, presumably east canada time.

Regardless,

Grimfari Jarl calls the denizens of Rekavidr to order with a lifting of his hands, "People of Rekavidr, we have done well this winter! But now, it is time to turn our land to profit, to grow crops worth having and make friends worth keeping!"

"To these efforts, all those with fertile land must grow Golden Grass, so says the Thing! Furthermore, an expedition shall be formed, headed by Ragnar Fair-Spoken, to seek out friends to the West. Be wary, fair friends, of threats on the horizon. Crabs on the march in the East and Onigar to the North." He sighs, looking world-weary as lines crease his face, "Knowing reality, both threats shall strike at once."

The Norse can regrow limbs, generally, so it doesn't usually come up in the long term. If you sacrifice a limb it stays gone, and I don't think Kunna would be enough to replaces it because the sacrifice is spiritual more than physical. If you're temporarily down a limb this probably works, though.

I realize yesterday was perhaps the time to clear this up, but since the wording is a bit ambiguous, I think we're on the same page that while cultivation of golden grass is required, other crops can be grown too. You just have to grow some.

Do we have golden grass seeds yet, or do we have to obtain that

Ingegärd and Runa have some at the very least. And the law says they have to share, though Ragnarr at least volunteered to help compensate them for doing so.

@I.F. Ister how zoomed in on this do you want us to be? Do we need to do a big discussion over how we grow golden grass, or can we just say we do so as a passive?

Definitely going to spend some time cultivating some of 'dat grass.

Question is, does Ragnarr want Rikard as part of the Trip to the West, or should I stay in the local region so I can respond quickly if we get jumped?

Up to you, really. You'd be useful doing either. I think Gunnar is gonna go say a (probably violent) 'Hi' to the Oni with a group of people, and having you along on that would also be useful if you're interested.

Right now our Trip to the West has only three people (Ragnarr, Sigmund, and Ivor), so we definitely need more people, but whether you want to be one of them is up to you. I do think we're not taking enough people that you need to stay back on defense, so if you want to come, you should.

All the Golden Grass found so far was in sheltered, protected spots. The crook of a number of tree roots, as an example

I'm...not sure what this means in the context of my question? The question was more OOC logistical, like, do we need to do a whole thing or can we just spend passives to grow it like other stuff, maybe with a note we are doing so carefully?

Oh, sorry, I got distracted and posted without completing the bit.

Anyways, it's up to you. I will, however, assume that you'd be growing it in the style familiar to the Norse if it is listed as 'we grow golden grass' in your passive.

Hmmm. @I.F. Ister I feel like logically Ingegärd and Runa should maybe get some ordstirr at this point for finding the Golden Grass? They didn't at the time, but given how important we've found out it was, I'd think public opinion would now give them more credit.

[X]Njall Redaxe
-[X]Active be prepared to fight the Onigar in the North
-[x]Passive Grow Golden Grass
-[X] Passive Grow Mushling from Spawnbag

while some of my kinsmen do live to the east, the main clan compound is accessible by the north.

I want to try to make a brass necklace to inscribe runes on, since you guys have a fire kunna, it should be possible for you to make a necklace from brass even without a smelter. I'll give you a rune item you want in exchange, or in eclipsedstar's case, would you want meat-keeping sticks. Just need to put it in your passive action.
