I just realized that it's been 3 years since Draupnir was born. If somebody could roll a d6, that would be helpful!

And also a second one, if you wouldn't mind

Alright, say hello to the two newest members of the family, Leikny Ericsdottir and Eldjarn Stensson!

Oh. I was confused as to why dice were being rolled - I thought it was saying that Draupnir had children, but that must've been impossible as he is only three.

Just doing the normal spacing, I think. Usually, the Norse weaned babies at two years old and breast feeding is usually pretty decent birth control (not perfect by any means, but decent) so a kid every three or four years is about right (probably usually about three since Hamr apparently helps with fertility).

Sorry to be a bother, but would you please not spaghetti quote and use two or less quotes per reply? It feels awkward to ask, but it is SV policy.
I've been assured the dividing line is three- as long as you stay at three and don't willfully subdivide what someone says in a way that misleads or bypasses their main point, you generally don't get in trouble.

Ah, good point! Yeah I was speaking a bit off the cuff there.

Honestly there's not a hard and fast "line" as such, but you're not wrong per se, that's pretty close to the standard that moderators use in practice. That said, I wouldn't recommend replying to someone with three quotes for like, an entire page of back-and-forth, as it might get looked at in aggregate, but honestly it would depend a lot on context.

Oh boy, I'm super out of practice on these normal turns, lmao.

Simple solution: Send a grendelspawn to attack us without warning in the middle of the night, thereby ensuring it will not be a normal turn!

What are the details of you going to Hasvir's house? I'm assuming that you're not wearing your mail, cause that sort of thing could very easily be seen as an implicit threat, but I could be wrong. Did you decide to bring anyone with you?

I'm pretty sure we're just going in casual clothes and all that, I don't... Think the context justifies bringing much company? We're just doing a vibe-check, more or less?

And now my anxiety is spiking again.

I mean, to be fair, I don't think mail would let us win if Hasvir really wanted to kill us.

Might be his brothers though. Or another attack.

Well, now I'm concerned...
And now my anxiety is spiking again.
Don't worry about it, I'm just screwing with you guys ;P
...which was kind of cruel of me, now that I think about it. I'm sorry for that.

I hit my stride more or less immediately after I responded to Skippy, so there's probably not going to be surprise shenanigans going on.

Besides, I think it would be a bad idea to throw another fight at you when you've got the troll-men on the horizon. However... it would be nice to write some smaller scale fighting... well, I'll leave it up to fate on this one.
