Wait no, I've got it. Bram Ironjaw is a Steelbrother, and meeting him will certainly be an experience.

IF is saying we're guaranteed to get a Steel Hugareida just for meeting him. Neat! :V

The flyting of Horra Hasvison (fearsome hill)
The flyting of Horra Hasvison:

Horra Hasvison, coward and criminal
took the routing route trough life
took down a father's brothers
with poison finished few brave men
their souls took from valhalla's halls
to ever linger in the lands of life
Horra Hasvison
corpsefucker with sons and a daughter
his crime? taking good men's lives
his life? a waste and a shame
his death? a joy that came too late

Sowing more seeds to your soulscape's fields

Adding more to the soulscape house
After sketching out the general layout of your house—and incorporating those new ideas you learned!—you find that the overall quality of the design has improved! When you build your house, it'll be one level of quality higher then it was before!

Teaching Shadeclaw and Abjorn Reinforce Shield
"Reinforce Shield?! What kind of a silly name is that, She-Who-Bears-Bears?" Shadeclaw, of course, makes her presence known the moment you start your lesson. "The Great Bear calls it Strong-Shield and so that must be its proper name, She-Who-Is-A-Very-Silly-Mama-Bear!"

You turn your gaze to your husband, who simply shrugs and says, "That's just what Dad called it."

You frown, "Steinarr called it 'Reinforce Shield', though."

'So did Ironjaw,' Blackhand adds before continuing, 'and I learned it as Painted Armor.'

(Shadeclaw and Abjorn already know that trick)

Frisian Cultivation Treatise
Emperor Charlemagne, as thanks for their assistance in the restoration of the Pope to Rome, granted the Frisians a unique freedom. No feudal lord or state of serfdom shall rule over their lands nor their peoples. They are freemen, one and all, from the very first inhale of life to the last and final exhale of death.

As such, it is to no surprise that the Frisians count themselves one of the few Christian Peoples to practice cultivation in their entirety. Under the grace of the Roman Emperor, the Frisian Peoples were tasked with safeguarding their coast against the sea-demons of the north.

However, one must pay heed when travelling Frisian lands. The people of Frisia—though now civilized—have tried time and again to return to their pagan ways. Fortunately, when Emperor Charlemagne granted them his mercy, they learned the error of their ways and have since become loyal servants of the Lord.

Alloying Stoker State and Glima together
When you mix Glima and Stoker State together, it seems as though you can lend the strength of your stoking heart to Glima and the ease of power to Stoker State. They grant their strengths to each other, allowing greater complexity of use.

Trying to re-contextualize Ignition
You frown as you try once again to 'lengthen' your Ignition. Unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, you grow now closer to understanding how you'd do that.

However, it seems as though something is happening when you try to do it. Perhaps you're missing something or doing it incorrectly?

Squinting, you eye Vagn Wheel-Drifter as you circle around each other in the sparring ring. Orthstirr fills your vision as it peels back the layers to gauge the effort he's applying to his next few moves. A grin slides across your face as you see the slack in his defense's strength.

Arm swinging back and then forward, the bolt thrower leaps into hand as crimson orthstirr shines along the iron head. The bolt screams free as it tears across the sparring grounds, eager to see its prey dead—but Vagn is no quivering rabbit.

A spectral wheel crashes against the flying bolt and smashes the figment of a trick to pieces. All it managed was momentarily blocking his vision—but that's all you needed it to do.

Leaping forward with crimson fire streaking from your body, your limbs burst with speed beyond your limits as your heart pounds like the war drums of the Final Day. Like the swords of the Gods, you swing Sagaseeker with every ounce of strength in your body behind each blow.

In the span of five heartbeats, you deliver fifteen attacks.

Vagn's teeth grind together as blow after blow cleaves the strength from his ghostly wheels. The twelfth strike sounds the death knell for Vagn's defense as the final wheel cracks in half—and there's still three more swings to go.

You gasp for air like a beached fish as as you come to a stop with Sagaseeker's edge resting against Vagn's throat. Your face is as red as your hair and is swiftly approaching a choked shade of purple as you struggle to retain your grip on Sagaseeker—the clatter that follows signals your failure in that. Your heart sputters and shakes, yet feels like it could leap from your chest at the slightest jolt.

Vagn yielded victory to you, but he's clearly worried if the way his mouth hangs open and his eyes stay wide has any meaning.

You collapse against the ground, breathing like your life depends on it. Vagn climbs to his feet as you start to feel your fingers again.

He grimaces as he looks at you, "Are you okay? What happened?"

"I'm fine," you reply in-between ever-leveler gasps. "Just a trick I came up with recently, figured now was a good time to test it."

He stares at you as he adjusts the front of his tunic, "You're one scary lady, boss."

"Don't I know it," you grin in turn as you make to stand. Accepting the offered hand, you rise to your feet and dust yourself off. "Now, have you thought about my offer?"

Vagn glances to the side, towards where Abjorn watches, and swallows. "I've given it some thought," he says as he nods, "and I've decided that I'll accept your offer."

Your smile splits your face in two as you vigorously shake hands.

Stopping off at Ribe (Hamingja: 6x2, 5x1, 4x4, 3x1, 2x4, 1x4) 3 Successes.
As you make landfall at the market of Ribe, you find that you've arrived too late in the year for much of value to be available for purchase. What's available here is the same as back home, just more of it and of finer quality.

Would you like to purchase anything?
[ ] Yes
-[ ] Write in what you'd like and how much you're willing to spend (Because I do not feel like doing a full shopping turn lmao)
[ ] No, you'll save your money

AN: I am very, very concerned about getting the entirety of this one out today, so I've decided to post this bit now and continue work on the second.

No moratorium, very short vote.

What's the cost on metal here? And are there any that aren't readily available at home?

We've got a shitton of money, and if we can save an action here by spending some of it, we'll be in great stead.

So what was the trick that Halla nearly exploded doing?
The "I hit you with lots of attacks at the same time" thingy we made for Stoker State. Each of the hits counts as a Basic Attack, and therefore makes more Stoker Dice. For balance reasons we are now capped on total Stoker Dice of Mastery x9, so 45 Dice. If we dump our entire base Stoker pool (15 dice) into the new move we get 15 Attacks that each make 3 Stoker Dice. This puts us exactly at cap and we take damage if we go over the cap without immediately spending to get back below cap.

The actual trick is 1 Basic Attack per Stoker Dice put in as fuel, and 1 Speed per 3 Dice put in

Basically, Halla learned how to overdrive her Stoker State engine on command. It came out even better than my Galaxy Brain thought

Anyway, if we can get a good price for Forged Iron, I'm all for getting it, just so we can save an action in the upcoming season. @Imperial Fister , what's the exchange rate here for Forged Iron, and are there any other Iron types on the table that might not be on the open market in Asvir?

Alright, I've changed my mind on it being a short vote. Sorry to say, but the second part isn't going to be posted today because I'm getting stressed while trying to rush and both of those things are having a rather negative impact on writing quality. I'm taking a step back, declaring what I've got posted to be good enough, and will get back to it tomorrow.

Hmm, having proposed the 'recontextualize a single Hugareida', the result is promising..

.. Perhaps it's like a metaHugareida? We amplify an aspect of a Hugareida at a cost to other Aspects? By amplifying certain concepts at the cost of others.
