Anyway, I figure... Execution's not great, thralldom might work though. Alfred probably doesn't want them back at this point, but we don't want to release them either.

I'd like to actually, like, loot the fort? We weren't paid all that much to begin with, and I'd at least like loot if we missed out on the extra orthstirr from the duel.

I'd also like it if we not take slaves. Like, I'm just not a fan of that. But even more importantly, it was one of the things Alfred wanted us to not do. I'd rather we just take them back to Alfred and have him make a show of them however he sees fit.

Alfred wanted us to not take any beyond the targets, he just said "Make an example of them."

Could be wrong though.

The impression I got was that he wanted them dead, or humiliated, or whatever. But making thralls of his people was something he wouldn't condone. Not too sure about it now when I think about it, though.

@Imperial Fister, did Alfred's 'don't take any thralls' extend to Louis and the Thanes, or only to non-targets?

If we do take thralls we'd probably want to make another stop to sell most of them. Introducing more mouths to feed when one of the biggest points of this mission was to get food seems silly.

Ah, okay. Guess we can take thralls, if we wanted to I suppose... still not the biggest fan of said idea.

Yeah, I think this is the best we can do right now, get our payday, get to know our Kinsman, and trust the other matters to work themselves out.
