Okay, Imperial Fister just dropped an important piece of info on how the world works in Discord and I thought the thread should know:
If you have a better Hugareida rank in the exact same Hugareida as someone else, you can just cancel their usage of it. Your mastery is greater. So. We can non-sell people with less Ignition's use of it, and people with more Ignition can no-sell ours, and so on. This isn't relevant right this second, but I thought everyone should know.
Perfected Tricks are apparently exempt from this.

The closest match is that a higher ranked Hugareida is basically just more of X Hugareida, implying that higher Hugareida mastery wasn't really a big deal compared to knowing how to use that Hugareida better.
Huh.... That means steinar and sten might have gone softer on us?
Hm... What about Lars Forkbeard? He also had ignition, no?
Edit: sten no, his is only grade 2.... But the question is if his rocket launcher trick is perfected or not.
Steinar, yes, his is grade 6. He let us fly.

He did, but it wasn't his main thing (that was Lightning) and we had, like, around Grade 2 by then, so him having no more than us is pretty likely. Heck, even if we only had Grade 1, him also only having Grade 1 in a secondary Hugareida is decently likely.
EDIT: Going back to check, yeah, we had exactly Grade 2 Ignition for this fight. A very believable amount for Lars to have as a secondary Hugareida.
Yeah, Steinarr going easy on us is not a surprise. He also let our Sword Guard actually exist for a moment before breaking it.

Also would the water of the river of the dead (where we fished up Aki) be mystically potent enough to power runes?

I think the question was if it was already Realized, but it's true that we cannot Realize a boat or ship.
Hm.... We are going to England.... The Scots and Irish are quite near.... Perhaps we run into a warband with the warpaints?

Making dresses that look good with soot has already been approved (and is on the itinerary), but this is also valid. I'll add it to the list.
Someone suggested plants with good smelling ash.
I'd like to ask Solrun for plants used in purification that smell good and then see if we can use their ash.

Cosmetics are usually expensive to make and buy, and Halla will do it, because it's literally more comfortable for her to have her face dusted than not.
