I smell an omake. A Riphath omake. "I may have a solution to a few of your problems, Master Kenobi, for the low low price of teaching me Soresu better than the basics I've picked up from watching holovids. Why would I want to? Maybe I think it might be nice for you to be able to tease Ciaran back about love lives. Despite all the rumors, I've never see her with anyone, have you?"

Obi-Wan and Siri going to Tython and getting Jedi-Betrothed wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. It's discard-and-draw for humor elements (dropping Ciaran teasing him about his love life but adding Obi-Wan getting to tease her.)

Imma have to stop you there unfortunately. At least for the near future Obi-Wan's gonna be just a biiiiiiit off his game due to the everything going on.

I love how Obi-wan was teasing Asajj in the last update, like he was psuedo teasing Ciaran, but waaay too afraid to directly do so after the last time when they were leaving Mortis. Makes me wonder what kind of retaliation Ciaran got up to for him to be so hesitant.

Also I liked how different Asajj seemed. I sorta headcannon that force users recognize people a fair bit more based on their force signature than how they look (yeah she has hair now, but she still looks like herself). I think it'd be funny if sometime she passed Ashoka in a hall on her way to talk to Ciaran and Ahsoka took a moment to recognize her or only realized it after she left the room.

To put in into perspective, I would say that Ciaran has had six "masters" over the course of her life, each of whom gave Ciaran something that helped her reach her full potential far quicker than one would expect.

Also all of them are Sith. Well okay, one became a Sith later in canon, but still.

Huh, that's very insightful. Some were obvious, like Vectivus and Kreia, but I wouldn't have expected Jerec. Does Obi-Wan not count for teaching her Form 3?

Honestly it's more that Obi-Wan taunting Asajj (and vice versa) is practically a reflex at this point. No joke, Asajj had to actually restrain herself from the usual insult fighting she and Obi would have.

He did, but he didn't really influence her to the extent of the others. Obi-Wan taught her Form III, but her mentality wasn't really affected by those teachings. If that makes sense.

Question for the QM: will the Attitudes part of the be updated at the end of the turn? 'cause I'm sure that Obi-Wan's opinions have changed at least somewhat (probably Siri's as well once the omake becomes official canon) and I am curious to see what Tholme's feelings are expressed as.

You fool, they've been updated the entire time and I totally didn't space out on that and procrastinate on editing that part.

By the way, since some people mentioned earlier the potential shock of everyone if for someone reason it would be revealed that Ciaran just so happens to have a Darth title... and of all possible titles its Darth Traya.

I'm looking forward to something that is far more likely to occur. Ciaran introducing one of her trumpcards. A certain... Count Dooku.
Thought her subverting one of the Republics most prominent naval officers was concerning? How about the fact that she has been allied with Count Dooku for who knows how long! On her own terms, too!

"The situation isn't as bad as you might expect - I needed to keep it secret for reasons that will soon be obvious, but I have a high-ranking mole in the CIS who will be key to our success."
"Oh, okay. What's his name?"
"Yan Dooku."
"...Excuse me?"

Since I liked how this played out I'm going to pull back the curtain a bit and point out that Ciaran's comments on the whole "don't marry cause of Order rules" thing is going to rattle Obi-Wan a lot more after the fact given recent events.
So when are Siri and Satine gonna honour duel for Obi-Wan's hand in marriage?

I have to ask that question in order to prompt you to tell us how Ciaran has altered Anakin's worldviews. :p

I think that answering that question would take up several paragraphs in total - and more importantly that's a mix of "stuff that's already been covered whenever he gets to be a major character in events" and "spoilers."

Edit: Also, I have enough faith in the intelligence of my readers for you all to get the gist of what I've been getting at without me having to write a giant essay going "THIS IS WHAT I INTENDED, DO YOU GET IT YET HERE LET ME SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND."

That's just being a patronizing dick right there.

I hereby formally propose we name our new pet rancor Wuffles.
This has my vote. Mostly because it reminds me of one of my favorite bits of writing ever:
"Okay," she says, "I can't just call you 'Geth'. Would you object to me giving you a name?"

"This platform would accept a designation."

She nods, circling around him.

"Lessee...Jeff? Sounds like Geth. No, no. Don't look like a Jeff. How about Tali 2.0? No. Too masculine."

The Geth raises a metal petal.

"How about Blossom? Because of the flower thing?" The Geth stares at her. "Pressly? Nah. Don't look like a Garrus, either. And you said you were how many programs?"

"We are 1,183 programs running on this platform in synchronicity."

She nods. She nods again. A mass of programs. A mass of individuality. Like an army, or mass. A one who is many. Like a...a...

"Ah fuck it," she says, "I'm calling you Wuffles."

"That is an acceptable designation. We are Wuffles, a Terminal of the Geth."

They're a pacifist and a jedi, so never. The negotiations might get a bit aggressive though.
Ciaran might have...suggestions as to how they might do that. Or, depending on how liberal certain sectors of the galaxy are, they might not need to fight over it in the first place.

I don't know if that would make Obi-Wan someone to envy, or to pity.

This is lies and slander.

Grievous would be the one to make those kinds of suggestions with absolute sincerity.
