Just got an idea from reading a comment section.

What if we offered defected CIS officers with a few bullet point requirements.

1. Must place their whole being in the gracious hands of the CNS.
2. Must be able to full divulge all information and be free of war crimes (no genocide or knowingly assisting in a genocide).
2a. Protection will be annuled if lying or false information is given.

Simple right? I think the U.S and the Soviets did this for German Scientists back in WW2 with guys like Werner Von Braun (SS Captain and later First Director of NASA? Google that just to check but he was important for NASA).

Neutral, remember. Such an offer would have to include members of the Republic as well, to avoid favoring one side.

Intrigue: 18+2+2=22 (Grievous certainly understands the concept of subtlety...he just prefers the direct approach. Though he's learned quite a bit about it from working under you.)

@Dr. Snark, would Grievous be able to conduct an insurgency without giving away the game (openly using CNS assets or being identified by Separatist forces)?

Look up there. Yes he knows how to be subtle. Also, he is from a rather primitive culture that managed to wage WAR against the Huk with good success. Yes, he is a good guerilla.

...*Sigh*
Do I really need to spell out every single detail myself? Others have stated that Grievous is good at guerilla warfare, what more do you want me to say?

<sheepish> Sorry, just worried about another Darra-like incident. Works for me; I'll make the change. (Thanks @Bones)

Also, given the response to far has been "steady" (to keep the Castell base), I won't be making any further changes to the base purchases or the Plan this turn. Thanks for bearing with me.

Right then. Rolls will be...tomorrow, because it's late my time and I feel like a turn like this deserves at least a bit of dramatic tension with a bunch of new things happening.

As far as I know, most if not all hyperdrive capable ships in Star Wars can go anywhere they like. The hyperspace lanes are popular because they are thoroughly mapped to be safe, so you do not crash into a star, or a supernova, or a black hole. Many people don't like to take the risks of doing their own navigation/exploration. Even small number of ships like Lucrehulk disappearing is too much for a company like the Trade Federation. There are profit margins to consider.

The only advantage of an Alcubierre Drive I can think of pre interdictor is that it doesn't care about gravity wells, and totally can be used to fire an impactor at past C. Probly not something we would want to be caught building, even assuming it works in a universe like star wars.

I have returned from rolling.

Organa Protection Detail: 70% Rolled: 31+10 = 41
Let's Vary Piracy, With A Little Burglary (Onderon): 60% Rolled: 41+24=65
CNS Recruitment (Dathomir): 80% Rolled: 98 + 10 = 108
Hey, Trade Federation! Do what you do best!: 70% Rolled: 90 + 15 = 105
War-Ravaged Recovery: 80% Rolled: 73 + 15 = 88
The Hunt For A Madman: 50% Rolled: 7, Rerolled to 69 + 36 = 105
The Golden Tempter: 40% Rolled: 67 + 57 = 124
Homecoming Trip: 60% Rolled: 31 + 17 + 10 (Teron) + 10 (Echo101) = 67
Under The Knife (Silas Cata): 70% Rolled: 30 + 20 = 50
Force Training (Luka Sene): 70% Rolled: 44
Cheriss Sair: A New Body: 60% Rolled: 23 + 38 = 61
Thrawn: Return of the Mand'alor: 40% Rolled: 76 + 29 + 10 (Teron) + 10 (Publicola) = 125
CNS Recruitment (Alpheridies): 80% Rolled: 21 + 10 = 31

From the results, I have determined that you people are simultaneously stupidly lucky and may have a case of tsundere dice. Just to be safe you may want to take them on a date sometime and try to tell them how you really feel about them.

Though really that may be me trying to make myself feel better because you guys got a lot of crits in a lot of places you wanted them and flat out succeeded at everything.

The Force is keeping a very close eye on us. This clearly means we should focus on increasing our Lore, to repay the favour. Our current level of mastery over it is an insult to it, and will soon result in a terrible punishment. The Force has tried the carrot. Now, it'll be the stick! Woe! Woe be us, if we ignore the signs and don't master the Force!
