Mitth'raw'nuruodo: Chiss Attorney

...I hate that you figured out one of my potential plans for this, even if it is an obvious one.

This is weird...let's say that depending on how things play out something like this could happen, but odds are it would be a different kind of courtroom drama. Something more akin to A Few Good Men or something along those lines. Still have the +10 because all that aside your omake is legitimately great and I want to see more of it.

Is it possible to tag something as preemptively canon?

i wonder if we can snag ahsoka during this, or at least give her a happyier ending in this thing......isnt ahsoka one of the only things keeping ani as a jedi? cause if so we should try to snag him after this, that would be super fun.

Doesn't he try to help her get away until she could be proved innocent? I'd be completely unsurprised if he tried to get her to us at this point. After all, he mostly trusts us, and knows that we're good at the sort of sneaky stuff needed to get her away safely.

The problem with a trial here, is that you are all assuming that it will be a fair one. From my own personal experience as part of a jury, Ahsoka's trial should have broken down due the lack of any concrete evidence by the prosecution that would give her a motive and means to be the mastermind of the Temple bombing.

After all none of the members of the conspiracy (living or deceased) had the technical knowledge to reprogram the nano-droids from medical purposes to explosives (let alone get hold of the amount they found considering how expensive they are), Ahsoka had never had contact with any members of the protest movement before the bombing and the fact that had Ahsoka been guilty she wouldn't have willingly walked into a high-security prison as even if they did have evidence against them it was little more than the word of a terrorist against a GAR Commander.

However, since Palpatine had the intention of ruining the Jedi Order's Reputation, the jury (being made up of purely Senators) was compromised by means of political pressure and public bias meaning they couldn't deliver a unbiased verdict and the fact everyone was willing to ignore the how she was captured meant that it was little more than a kangaroo court.

yes but you forget
WE KEPT NEWT GUNRAY OUT OF JAIL
and he has ALL the evidence against him, so you know, we can bend that jury over backwords if we want.

If it comes to that busting Ahsoka out would be easy. But catching the real culprit and making the whole thing very public through the media is certainly on the cards, and the preferable choice.

It is, it's just that if that thing happened it wouldn't really resemble Panory's omake at all because of Spoilers. And even 'worse': Player Decisions, which are known to completely destroy any plans a QM has for anything.
it's the transcript/lets play of a game based around the lawyer career of thrawn. case one is Asoka, cirian/padema getting framed for something would be case two or three. the other case I don't have a clue about.. case four would involve palintine, possibly as prosecutor and that he was the mastermind behind the entire clone war, to discredit those of his followers still in power and pushing for an empire.

It's not the actual events, but a dramatizied version focused toward gameplay.

i love that there are achievements, it makes me feel like this is a rpg and that ciaran is one of the faster leveling characters around. our one of the most op characters.

Correction, we took advantage of a political loophole to flood the courts with so much contradicting evidence that they couldn't compose a proper trial by the deadline because they didn't have enough people to sort through it all.

I suspect if we tried the similar method Palpatine would just switch from a Senatoral Trial to a Military Trial due to Ahsoka's status as a Commander in the GAR. Considering the GAR was only set up two years ago and made up mostly of loyal Clones, they're unlikely to give defendants any legal protection.

im wondering why it wasnt a military trial in the first place to be honest.

Now Ciaran can use her considerable resource to make sure Aboleth never gets out. That is basically as close to an ideal insurance of their safety in the current screwed up state of the galaxy.
This is a good point.
Sinkhole Station maintains the Maw. Centerpoint was used to build it.
I thought the destruction of Centerpoint Station in canon was what lead to the maw opening enough to make Sinkhole Station accessible, which in turn was what allowed people to get to and disable that, which is what lead to the Maw opening enough for Abeloth to escape? Though it should be noted that she was still able to exert influence outside her prison before, as she corrupted the Jedi students who were staying in a space station built into the Maw during the Yuuzhan Vong war.
It does do other things as well. That's like saying finding the Mantle of the Force was the first step to stabbing Yoda in the face. It can do that, but why would you want to when it can do so many other things?
Using Centerpoint Station means letting everyone know what it is and what it does, I for one don't trust say Palpatine to use it responsibly.
Centerpoint makes for a nice base, weapons platform and interdictor too. :V
See above, we can use it as a base but using any of the star system shaping stuff is going to show literally everyone where it is.
