[X] Plan I Wish We Had 30 Kaleesh Warrior Groups
-[X] Greivous (free)
-[X] HK-47 (free)
-[X] Dani Plenar (Abysswalker)
-[X] 14 Kaleesh Warrior groups (Tier 2)
-[X] 15 veteran Seeker Squads (Tier 3)

with greivous's buffs, the kaleesh warriors are our best units (35/30). and the veteran seekers are tied (total point wise) with a bunch for second best (20/30). and i value defense over offense.

honestly dont care what wins though, as long as we bring all of the kaleesh

Agreed on the kaleesh but we should really take both our Abysswalkers seeing as they have 35/40 +20 to survive and a reroll.

There is also a case to be made that we should take abyss agents or wookies over the seekers depending on whether +5 counterattack or +10 survival is better.

17 Veteran Guardian Squads
Attack: +25, Counter: +25

22 Veteran Seeker Squads
Attack: +20, Counter: +30

4 B2 Super Battle Droid Groups
Attack: +25, Counter: +25

2 CB-3 Droid Groups
Attack: +20, Counter: +30

1 BX Commando Droid Group
Attack: +30, Counter: +20

14 Kaleesh Warrior Groups
Attack: +35, Counter: +30

1 Dwarf Spider Droid Group
Attack: +35, Counter: +15

8 Wookiee Warrior Groups
Attack: +20, Counter: +25, Survive: -10

16 Abyss Agents
Attack: +20, Counter: +25, Survive: -10

1 Kygeetu San Torgh
Attack: +35, Counter: +40, Survive: -20

1 Dani Plenar
Attack: +35, Counter: +40, Survive: -20

These are all the highest scoring units. I included Grievous's bonus to the Kaleesh on their scores. Unsurprisingly, the Abysswalkers are ridiculous, but we'd need to balance their inclusion with the fact that they're named characters who can actually die here. Their bonuses make that unlikely, but it's still notable. (As an aside, Kygeetu would be insane if Ciaran were here, too. Like, holy shit, outright the single best unit.) Also unsurprisingly, as long as Grievous is on the field, the Kaleesh are the highest rated non-named characters.

It seems to me that the best score to focus on is attack. Counterattack helps to resist the counterattack, of course, but if more of them are dead, then there will be fewer of them to counterattack. Survival bonuses help them survive if they fail the counterattack, but counterattack helps them avoid the death roll to begin with, and attack helps them avoid the counterattack.

Edit: Also, the more killed each round, the faster we can shut them all down each level, so that ends up with fewer counterattack rounds as well. Attack is just the best stat.

With that in mind, I'd recommend:
14 Kaleesh Warrior Groups
1 Dwarf Spider Droid Group
1 BX Commando Droid Group
12 Veteran Guardian Squads

That leaves two slots for either two more Veteran Guardian Squads or the two Abysswalkers, depending on how lucky we're feeling.

No matter the plan, I say we take the Dwarf Spider Droid group for the sweet, sweet +35 attack to devastate. Only Hero units have better attack. And since Revan and HK-47 were once in charge, we will need all the firepower we can get.

[X] Plan Path through Destruction
-[X] Grevious
-[X] HK-47
-[X] Kygeetu San Torgh (Abysswalker)
-[X] Dani Plenar (Abysswalker)
-[X] Dark Spider Droid group
-[X] 14 Kaleesh Warrior groups
-[X] 2 CB-3 Droid groups
-[X] 11 Veteran Guardian Squads

By the way, can we leave units and droids that are not part of the raid battles to keep captured zones secure, just in case? I really don't want to capture a location and realize that some droids sneaked into our entry point/capture zone and reactivated all the droids and systems. And they are still trying to kill us. I propose we bring in the B1, the rookies with support in the form of the B2, BX and some experienced squads of Guardians and Seekers. And I wish we had droidekas.

Talking about Droidekas, can we possibly, one day, get our hands on their schematics along with those of its bigger 'cousin', the Scorpenek annihilator droid? For those unaware, the latter can decimate alone a dozen of AT-TEs and entire platoons of clones. And if it wasn't enough, it can protect the droidekas within its own shield, giving droidekas two shields as protection and leaving the annihilator to take care of all those non-infantry target without having to shoot infantry. Of course, we will have to steal the schematics, since in-canon-universe it is believed that less than 100 annihilator droids were made due to their apparently insane price tag.

Ciaran would probably read about their abilities and say "I want one."

[X] Plan Kaleesh, Wookies and Seekers

-[X] 14 Kaleesh Warrior groups (Tier 2)
-[X] 6 Wookiee Warrior Groups
-[X] 9 Veteran Seeker Squads

Wookies have survivability and are currently capped, Seekers over Guardians since they will be able to avoid damage more reliable (if that is what the counterattack boost does). 1 Abysswalker as to not risk two of them (and the other one is better for a turn when Ciaran can show up) and Kaleesh are amazing with Grevious.

I too wish we had droidekas. Count that and "make the Equus-class speeder available for manufacture in factories" as two things I'm writing in for actions next turn.

EDIT: and "Solve the Wookiee crisis limiting our wookiee warrior cap".

PSA: remember that our Wookie Warriors are subject to a recruitment cap: we can only have up to 8, and we have 8 right now. In real-world terms, it'd be ludicrously evil to put it like this but we should send at least some of our Wookies to ensure that Recruitment Center isn't wasted...

I'd say send mostly droids. They are disposable and have some beastly bonuses. Admittedly, we need a ton more of those sweet Tier 3 droids.

There's not going to be any chance of the extermination droids recapturing a deck; HK would lock down the systems and make sure that basically only he can reactivate them.

As for the Scorpenek well the Colicoids are still a target if you're interested. There's probably data about them floating around in the TU files though no blueprints would be available.

Grievious and HK are free and cannot die.

Kaleesh under Grievous are absurd.
Dwarf Spider Droids were a pain in Republic Commando, and also pack a massive punch. (Shoot first, shoot hard.)
Super Battle Droids are decent on attack and defense.
Commando Droids are decent on attack and defense.
Abyss Agents can tier up through combat. Given the 5% odds of tiering up from Agent to Walker outside of combat and the decent odds (25%) of tiering up from Apprentice to Agent outside of combat? The replacement rate is good. Let's get more Named Walkers!

Voila.

EDIT: on the other hand, if @Void Stalker wants swap out his 9 'Seekers' for 9 Abyss Agents, I think I might (narrowly) prefer his plan. Droid units are great, but that Wookie Warrior cap annoys me.

Didn't we get the blueprints for those already?
He and his teams not only stole the blueprints and several units of CB-3 droids, but also managed to capture blueprints on Hyena Bombers. Crab Droids. Various odd R&D projects that the TU was working on. He even managed to get complete blueprints for droidekas.
