A Possible Future: The Great Jedi Schism

Great, yet another potential finale that I'm going to have to top. Thanks guys :V

(Enjoy the +10 Whumbly.)

'A Possible Future'.... by the Force, that's just, . . . .
:o

Edit:
Really Cool! Rock on!

Originally it started out with documenting a Clone Rebellion on Coruscant during Order 66. Then I started asking myself, "what if the Jedi came ontop in Episode III?"

It's one of those situations that killing the Big Bad doesn't really your cause. If Windu kills the Palpatine, it looks like a Jedi Coup as they can't prove that Palpatine was a Sith Lord. Even if you one does succeed in proving him a Sith Lord, that just raises really uncomfortable questions for both the Republic and the Jedi Order.

Then I found Light-Side Vader picture and my muse woke up.

So, this is a cool story, and I quite enjoyed the last thread (as a lurker), but I've got a question! What's the present situation with Siri Tachi? I figure she's still alive and all, but in this thread at least she seems to have been ignored in favor of Satine, which is the common trend in contemporary SW fanworks. Clearly, this is insufficient for messing with Obi-Wan! We need to get both of his blonde love interests involved if possilbe! Maximum CHAOS!

Okay, as the GM I'm going to be honest and say I have no idea who she is. Hang on...

*wiki check*

You mean that one random Jedi chick from the second Starfighter game was also one of Obi-Wan's love interests? And right now is technically his ex-girlfriend?

Ha
Aha
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD

Okay, with the research on hand I can justify her not being around Ciaran for various reasons, but that's definitely going to change in the future. *Leaves the area while laughing wildly*

If it matters/helps, she basically fits the Childhood Friend model. She was one of his closest friends growing up, and during his Padawan years, and they considered leaving the Order for one another before deciding together that that would be selfish of them. One of the bits that I always liked about her arc was that her death was one of the biggest ways that Anakin lacked understanding of Obi-Wan. She basically died in Obi-Wan's arms and he didn't immediately gut/torture/massacre her killer.

Anakin took this to mean that Obi-Wan had never truly loved her or known love, whereas when Obi-Wan's internal monologue was shown it was more that he did love her, but he wasn't going to become something she would have hated to avenge her.

Of course, with the creation of Satine Kryze for the Clone Wars Siri Tachi is largely ignored in favor of the Duchess of Mandalore. In fact, I think her entire existence is Legends Canon now more's the pity. That's what Fanfic is for though, and in the case of this quest/story it means Even More Ways To Screw with Obi-Wan. :p

Obi-Wan's must be unconsciously using Force Attract for this complex set of relationships. He's got the Childhood Crush (Siri Tachi), the Old Flame (Satine), the Femme Fatale (Ventress) and... well I'm unsure how Ciaran fits into it considering he probably knows she flirts with everyone.

Just to be clear.
What is Ciaran's view of the Jedi Order?
To answer:
The Jedi have helped in multiple crises in the past decade. No matter how imperfect they may be, they are pillars of order for which there is no other organization in place that can properly succeed them. I don't take kindly to those who would blatantly help those particular forces which prosper off anarchy.

A bit dense, but trying to do the right thing, more or less a good tool.

Plus, for Ciaran's purposes, well meaning, if boneheaded people are extremely useful. You don't need to take direct action if you can drop them the right hints to go paladin on dangerous people.

The Shipper.
Besides that Obi-Wan is still missing an apprentice/student crushing on him hard, I think?

I look forward to the section with Thrawn. Thrawn has had impressive appearances in Star Wars Rebels as well, such as when he easily deduced Hera Syndulla's identity simply through understanding of Twi'lek art and anticipating that Ezra was in disguise next to her and stunning him. He was also quickly able to deduce the Phoenix Squadron's next course of action and let them go so that they would lead him to the others.

Then, there is the way Thrawn neatly dealt with the sabotage situation in the Lothal factory, anticipating, neutralizing, and turning the rebels' ingenuity against them by first performing a demonstration, making Sumar test a bike he had built and sabotaged until it exploded and ended him, thus using the example to warn the rest. Thrawn concluded the demonstration by saying that now that he had the workers' attention, they should know that everything they build, they will test, personally, and that he expects the malfunction rates will decrease substantially. Perhaps in this quest, Thrawn will hopefully also have the opportunity to perform such a demonstration to bring an end to a potential sabotage scheme.

... you know if we could tell the security council (or the Jedi council) about the implant chips we could have them call up the clone army -

Yoda: Commander, Order 65 you must execute
Clone General: I need permission from the security council for that Master Yoda
Windu: Forwarding authenticated order now.
Genera: *looks at screen* ... Authentication confirmed, it will be carried out at once. Long live the republic. *connection closes*

Ciaran: : 3
Palpatine: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Hijacking for the win!

But on serious note, we NEED to find a 'cure' for this + rapid aging.

{immagine Ciaran's company offering "Juvenant" treatments and increasing lifespan and life quality: she'll get stinking rich! More than now!! }

There are no youth treatments in SW, right? At least nothing commercially available? If we pull this off, we'll probably be wealthy enough to count among the big names like Trade Federation.

As far as I'm aware, SW had nothing like that (unless you count Force-pseudoscience mostly explored by the Sith)
