Considering I don't think the lightsaber's blade weighs much if anything, I doubt that's really the sort of design we're going to get.
Considering we're a natural for Matukai, we might see some kind of hafted 'lightsaber pike' given Matukai practitioners generally fight with custom hand made halberds.
