That was an awesome omake. One thing though. Kygeetu helping Ashoka? Wasn't she on Mortis?

Second, assuming Danita was heading to the spaceport ... a pillow?
Mmm, good catch on the timing issue. I'll figure out a different mission or just make one up for Kygeetu to have been on.

EDIT: Alright I made it a more generic "mysterious helper" who clears or removes some obstaclesand leaves the person they helped terrified as to what happened there. Might actually be a fun thing to do at some point, an Omake of just how much like thriller/slasher films the Abyss agents and walkers would seem to others.

Danira's bit has more to do with trying to grab 20 winks enroute to try and get rid of the Dark Side Hangover. And Sith Eyes can be rather distinctive and I hardly imagine an Abyss Agent doesn't have a travel pillow as part of their standard kit.

Hold the phone, what do our Agents and Walkers look like? Seeing how we aren't "kills for thrills" Sith or goody-twoshoes Jedi, how does the Force change their bodies and psychologies? I imagine it isn't overt but at the same time feel it would be cool for there to be a tell amongst the knowledgeable.

Probably something that means they seem to hide in shadows with more ease than is natural... and not necessarily on purpose. And when they aren't hiding in shadows, they blend into crowds such that someone searching the crowd for a person who stands out can't quite put their finger on why the Agent/Walker isn't part of the crowd... and so ignores them.

So they have the ninja skills of the Assassins then?

I wonder, does Ciaran believe that nothing is true, everything is permitted when it comes to the Force?

To be honest, I think it's more like 'Nothing is false, everything is permitted'. The Force is a field of energy that encompasses and permeates literally everything. You can twist matter, energy, mind, time, space and reality itself with it. The only thing truly holding you back from doing practically anything with it is the fact that you believe, even subconciously, that you can't do it. You constantly limit yourself with things like 'this is correct, everything else is false' or 'this is false, but this is correct'. The thing is, with the Force, NOTHING is false. EVERYTHING is true in some way, and any claims to the contrary are the result of a 'mortal' mindset that can't comprehend the Force.

Well, that is what I believe.

maby their shadow's are longer?
I'd likely hedge if going by that logic, the best way to describe possible/arbitary future Abyss Walker veterans, is akin to Ciaren's veteran buried presense...

IE: That bloke, you can NOT tell for certain, is a Force User.

And at an absolute push, not the kind of person you can keep track on, even if you're trying to actively search for them, if they want to remain hidden.

Be it eyes that just don't 'register' you, as if you're not there. Even with forcesight at a push.

Nah, Ciaran managed that because the Ones percieve purely through the Force, not because she can actually become invisible to the mundane eye. I think that a nice passive effect would be that the aura our users proyect would lend to people underestimating them, at least those who don't know their true nature...

Also, do we at a certain point want them to acquire a philosophy or should we keep them purely utilitarian. I do believe that a moral code would be beneficial for helping them agaisnt the slippery slope most Force users go through. For now we have Vectivius' teachings but we can implement changes for the better, such as not being guided by sentimentality but not eschewing their feelings, as moderation is usually safe, or something like that.

we are a force sect
a code of some kind, even a bunch of rule's, is kinda needed, also i want to make one, it's sounds fun.

Abyss Agent:
Armor: Reinforced coat, light combat armor
Weaponry: Blaster pistol, vibroblade or vibrodagger, grenades, (rarely) lightsaber
Equipment: Medpac, synthrope, encrypted comlink (portable or headset), com-scrambler, slicer equipment, datapad, etc.

Usage: Force Users of the Abyss Watchers. Personaly trained by Tyro Torvin with regular assitance of Ciaran. Tend to have more a mindset along the lines of special agents/commandos than regular Force Users due to Tyro Torvins past as pirate and Lady Ciarans attempts to curb any darkside tendencies. Also very well paid. Usually recruited from amongst the rest of the organisation if force sensitivity is discovered.

Basically I see them as being like this, but more rundown sci-fi:

mmmmmmmmmmmmm desert ranger goodness.
i like the idea of this but in darker colors.

Oh I agree, I was just thinking that the coat had to look civilian-like so that an Agent could button it up, hide the armor and walk around in public receiving too much attention. Then when it's go time, slide on the helmet, unbutton the coat and you've got someone that radiates 'danger, do not approach'.

it looks like a pretty civilian like over coat actually.

You know what's really funny about Ciaran is that, while she's certainly an unrepentant crime boss with oceans of blood on her hands and Darth Traya...I don't think she's ever really used the Dark Side. Not once has she lashed out with the force out of passion.

..........UM
the wesker look a like got himself fucked over by a passionate ciaran.

... Beyond Shatterpoint and some minor Blaster manipulation, I believe the most Ciaran ever uses the force for is her Force Sight. BTW, what happened to the option to have Asajj train us up to par in standard Jedi/Sith practices?

........we kinda have though, we are just a few points behind asajj in combat, and a few points ahead in force.

Well, I mean, do we actually KNOW the methods? Yes, we're up there at Knight levels with using the Force but can we do everything a standard Jedi/Sith could do? Are we telekinetic, mind tricking, superjumping, and omnicognizant and all that jazz?

......yes
we can do more as well, such as telepathy. we can both manipulate AND read people's minds.

Yes, Dr. Snark stated that option was just there for us to raise martial and piety. We still train in those abilities they are just assumed to be done in the background.

Hmm... I kinda want to see a canon omake on how everyone perceives Ciaran. Like a more in depth version of that section in the first posts. How does our Hero units and Operational Advisors think of Ciaran and how she works? Is there a thrill of not-fear from Asajj as she reflects on how Ciaran is moving from barely notable Force user to competent rival to DARTH TRAYA? Are we as Ciaran and approachable kooky boss or some far off oppressive shade with a gleaming toothy smile to our Agents? Are we the best friend or the BESTEST Friend Padme has ever had?

the answer to that last one is yes. i would also want to see such a omake, especially with asajj, she went from a sith to a annoyed older sister, i want to see how that has effected her thought process.

Look the list doesn't matter, Ciaran would never make it to trial. Evidence goes missing every day, not to mention Lawyers, Judges, Witnesses, Jurors.

Ah, I remember helping out our old pal Nute Gunray with his trial(s). Wonder what happened to him?

So they have the ninja skills of the Assassins then?

I'd be totally willing to bet someone out there made an Apple of Eden expy. Or any of their "gifts". Seriously, Those Who Came Before made some goddamn effective weapons that made Adam and Eve and early Humanity able to go toe to toe with their makers before the Sun flared.
