Okay, looks like we've got a universal agreement on talking to Skirata, but there's still a relatively close gap on how Jango should be paid off.

Based on that I'll leave the voting open for a little while longer.

Could we permit a write-in to pay Jango slightly less (15 Credits per turn for 1 year/4 turns) and a single favor at the end of that time?

It seems like people want the favor for the plot-hook, but don't want to be swamped with doing favors for Jango for the next year. A compromise option -- so we pay him, but also promise (fewer) favors.

If this isn't acceptable, then my vote would go for the pure credits option, but let me know.

Hmm...I don't really think that option would really make sense so I'm going to have to shoot it down. Sorry.

I will at least point out that I definitely won't be swamping you with like 5 actions from Jango next turn or something crazy like that. He's been in the game long enough to understand that favors are valuable only if the other party is willing to commit, and the best way to do that is to not push your luck.

My worry wasn't that Jango would call 5 favors due per turn, but more that Jango's favors would cost us 5 Actions over the next five turns -- that it'd be a recurring 'cost of doing business'. Can you reassure us that these 'favors' will only cost us 1 or 2 Actions?

Unfortunately, no.

Let me make something clear though; I'm saying that because that uncertainty is the point of the vote. If I told you specifically how many actions the favors would cost there would be something lost from the narrative. This is a spur-of-the-moment-style of negotiation with the bare minimum of on-hand information, and I feel like the vote should reflect that in some fashion.

As I said earlier, I can give you vague estimations, but nothing specific. I will say this: don't get too worried about it dude. That option will be interesting no matter what.

FTFY, let's face it that version is more relevant to this quest anyway.

Well the Battle of Kamino is a pile of agendas.

Officially the Seperatist battle plan is to destroy the Kamino cloning facilities, the sciencists involved and any capacity that another facility could be set up. Unofficially Ventress is to infiltrate the city during the assault to secure the original DNA sample for Dooku.

Unknown to her Dooku has ordered Sev'rance Tann to ensure that Ventress is killed during the battle. Unknown to Sev'rance, Sidious wants to ensure a Seperatist Defeat on Kamino to keep the war drawn out.

Unknown to anyone else, Ciaran is planning on ruining all their plans, by kidnapping Ventress during the battle, subverting Jango Fett and Skirata (and whoever that man can convince) to aid their forces... and mull over any other opportunity that might present itself.

You know the regular ARCs?

Nulls are the prototypes, Kaminoans tried to improve on Fett's genes, but failed. Eidetic memory, independent, smart, and not at all like the Alphas. They also hate Kaminoans. Bastards were about to purge 'em as kids for being deviant. That tends to make them.... upset.
They were also saved, trained and adopted by Skirata.
