So I'm going to close the vote early since as of this point it's unanimous (GAZman is the great uniter of this quest). Expect the next update to be at 10:45. Two of your rolls broke 100 and one of them broke 200 so you can get hyped for that. But that does mean a lot more work on my end.

We should hire a scientist and try to get Palmer for Space travel.

Then we setup a base (easier with shrink tech), design efficient solar panel to be put into orbit around sun and beam energy away, and have it beam energy towards our moon base? (Preferably a closer base to the sun) which uses the energy to make more of the panels. A Dyson Swarm.

We can do better than the Atom if the plan is going into space. Adam Strange would be good if we're willing to take in people on the side of angels. Hector Hammond would be good if we want to stick with the baddies. Green Lantern Secret Origins retconned him from a petty criminal into an astrophysicist and future technology expert.

Wait... Only rolls with heroes can beat 100. two of four from: great armor, robotics\cybernetics breakthroughs, finding enemy sleepers, vastly improving security. Yes. I am hyped.

Victor Fries might be an interesting choice for a future minion. If he ever starts looking around for funding we could definitely offer some money in exchange for some of his cryonics knowledge. Cold guns are excellent weapons.

Turn 4 results
This turn was completely ridiculous for you guys (two rolls over 150). I don't even know what is going on with the dice anymore. This is the most ridiculous swing yet. World News is up next and I'll be interested to see your reactions to that mechanic. In the meantime enjoy your subvotes and your new traits as what you got was completely ridiculous. Please remember that there is a 1 hour moratorium before voting.

Turn 4 Results

[ ] Build Ivo housing in a sublab
DC 9
Roll 47
Decent success

Ivo had been nagging you for ever since he was in your employ for living quarters to be included in the sublab he has been working in. You have now completed the man's request after taking care of more pressing priorities. The housing was constructed quickly and covertly in a rather minimalist style. If Ivo wanted to live off of your dime in his work area so he could work on the A.M.A.Z.O. project nonstep you were going to make sure the housing didn't include anything beyond the basics. Unfortunately due to the speed and secrecy with which you built the housing very little surveillance or failsafes could be installed so that you could more effectively control the good doctor. Well hopefully with Ivo's newfound loyalty those issues wouldn't come up too soon.

Results: Ivo Housing built. Luthor-Ivo cooperation score +0.1

[ ] Improve banking and payment service on phone
DC 24
Roll 34
Small success

The team you had assigned to fix the banking and payment service had once again gotten the job done adequately but not anywhere near the standard of excellence you expect from LexCorp. The bugs had all been fixed and the service was now functional but the UI was still rather poor and your initial launch had heavily damaged the public's perception of the service. While the updates had gotten a few more people involved it still was incredibly annoying to have this service continue to underwhelm.

Results: Service improved and a few people begin to use it. Service still isn't popular though and isn't user friendly

[ ] The A.M.A.Z.O. project
DC 100 (DC 50 if Ivo assigned)
Roll 84+30 (Ivo learning stat) + 67 (reroll bonus) + 30 (Ivo learning stat added to reroll bonus)
Total 211
Monumental Success

Ivo is an unpleasant annoying man but he is without a doubt an incredibly brilliant man who despite his disease could change the whole world. While this likely will not revolutionize the world as your cell phones did just the insights gleaned from the first steps of Ivo's A.M.A.Z.O. project have drastically increased LexCorp's power and your own personal knowledge. Revolutionizing the robotics industry is the least of what you will have done by the time the project is completed. Others have squandered Ivo's potential by not letting him do the work he actually wants to do. You have allowed him to work on his pet project and already it has begun paying dividends

Results: Ivo-Luthor cooperation score +0.5, Ivo has gained the trait "Amazing Inspirations" (Amazing Inspirations makes it so that everytime Ivo is assigned to the A.M.A.Z.O. project LexCorp will gain at least 1 new bit of learning about robotics), Robotic Revelations Subvote

[ ] Improve armor
DC 12
Roll 87 + 19 (Pamela learning stat)+ 60 (reroll bonus) + 19 (Pamela learning stat added to reroll bonus)
Total 185

After all you had done for Dr. Isley regarding her very unpleasant ex she was more than willing to prove her own worth to you. She threw herself into her research with a zealousness that bordered on fanaticism. While armor might not have been her forte she quickly found numerous ways to improve the armor LexCorp makes while turning the whole process more eco-friendly. You are deeply pleased at the loyalty and ingenuity Pamela is showing. While she will never replace Mercy perhaps it's time you show a little more faith in the botanist as she seems to be eager to go above and beyond to earn your trust in any way possible.

Results: Pamela-Luthor cooperation score +0.2 (an extra action is gained). Pamela gains the trait "I Owe it all to the LexCorp Family" (I owe it all to the LexCorp family increases Pamela's cooperation score by 0.1 with Luthor or a hero unit Luthor has a cooperation score of more than 1 with everytime the total on the action Pamela is assigned to is higher than the one Luthor is assigned to), Improved Armor subvote.

[ ] Meet with Lucy Lane to reassure her
DC 11
Roll 19
Bare success

With all of the important work being done you didn't have the time to meet with Lucy Lane face to face. As such you delegated and sent her an email to reassure her that nothing her older sister did would reflect poorly on her. You then mentioned that you would like to meet with her face to face when both of your busy schedules would permit it. While she hasn't come around to your side Lucy has calmed down a bit and agreed to meet with you but she still remains wary and suspicious. You hope your future attempts to turn her will go more effectively than the previous two have.

Results: Actions involving Lucy Lane have their DC very slightly decreased. Lucy Lane remains nervous and skittish.

[ ] Investigate inside the company
DC 40
Roll 54 + 21= 75
Incredible success

You are quite happy to say that there is an utter lack of moles at your company. Most people at LexCorp want to be at LexCorp. There was one intern who was a corporate spy from Wayne Industries and about twelve incompetent Stagg plants (who have all been promptly fired and sued for industrial sabotage) though none of them were anyone of any importance and they had little access to sensitive information. What is frustrating is that a lot of your company's information regularly leaks like a sieve. Dozens of members of your staff have been overly careless about what information they will say about their work outside and a select few have been selling information about yourself and what they do to overly eager reporters. You are sure that Lois, media vulture that she is, has been getting some inside information from these individuals. Now that you know the problem you can swiftly deal with it.

Results: All corporate spies identified removed and sued into oblivion. Information leaking identified as a problem with a few individuals giving information out to journalists who ask for it.

[ ] Investigate the sword
DC 15
Roll 52
Incredible success

Whoever framed you had money that was for sure. When you looked over the data of the weapon used to kill the five assassins in custody some very interesting facts started to show up. Firstly while the swords were not used to initially decapitate the assassins the sword proved equally capable of slicing and stabbing. This indicated that the sword was two sided rather than one sided. There was no chipping of the sword left in the body so the weapon must have been new and well made. The bone deformation on the blow that killed the assassins was relatively minor so it means that the sword was not swung or stabbed with an incredible amount of force. Based on the gathered data you'd guess that some kind of high quality newly made jian was the murder weapon. Jian's are not a weapon that are commonly made in the United States and the airports records show no one flying into Metropolis with a Jian. On the east coast only three people have ordered a custom made Jian that could have been used in the framing attempt in the past 20 years. Those three people are Elaine Marsh-Morton, Miranda Tate (quite interesting considering she was looking for a job) and Sasha Glynul. It'll be interesting to see who was responsible for the actions that cost you so much precious time. You couldn't wait to find the person so you could make them pay.

Results: Suspects of who ??? is narrowed down to three people, Miranda Tate, Sasha Glynul and Elaine Marsh-Morton.

[ ] Tighten security
DC 28
Roll 71+19 (Mercy Martial stat)-35 (League of Shadows attacks)
Total=55
Solid success

Without having to babysit Ivo Mercy made significant strides in increasing the security of LexCorp tower. Camera footage was regularly inspected, people were regularly searched, metal detectors were put in place and roving patrols occurred all around and throughout the building. There would be no repeats of the first attempts where the League managed to bypass the first line of security or of the last three months where they managed to get around security through indirect means. Now the League of Shadows would have to get passed security first. It wasn't as tight as you would have liked but considering the sheer amount of assaults on your life which varied from direct attacks, to mailing you rare diseases to attempting to poison your buildings water supply you will allow Mercy commendation for having merely done adequately on tightening security rather superbly as you have come to expect from your right hand woman.

Results: Security significantly stepped up and increased. It still won't deal with too esoteric threats but the tide is beginning to turn against the League of Shadows

I think it would be best for the robotics subvote if we put it all into Amazo completion it would shave years off the final amount of time needed to create amazo
Regarding the Armor upgrades I would like them to be fashionable with the advanced polymer weaving, I am not sure what I would want for the third choice what but the one I am curious about is the liquid armor. Does that make the armor like the terminator?

So... Lightweight Organic Armor, that's either Hidden or has Camouflaging features? Feels like it should definitely be organic or something, given we had Pamela Isley work on it.

Liquid armor is the basis for the terminator stuff. Right now it is less full on terminator stuff and is instead based off of this idea we have in the works irl. Basically liquid armor is a liquid pumped around in a suit that keeps the user cool and is relatively soft. The harder the liquid is struck though the more it hardens to counter that force. Essentially it is an armor that responds proportionally to force (up to a point). I just didn't have a more concise name for it than liquid armor. You will be able to build off of this armor to get more stuff later and eventually get to the terminator point (in matter of fact I believe Superman has fought actual Terminators before)

Awesome turn.
Don't know if this was asked but just to be sure, how much research do we need to have in order to have DCAU Amazo?

these I choose, because getting two steps of the project is good, the basic builder bots will help out, along with mechanical surgeons to allow doctors to focus on critical stuff while automated assembly will allow us to really pump out the crazy stuff. Not to mention if we patent these technologies then we got a strong foundation for getting a futuristic city to be the model for the world Lex wants to build.

So overall these options seem like an easy way of greatly improving on the Lexphone and other technological endeavors while hidden weapons can be very useful for personal protection and some more nefarious purposes (IE assassinations, including miniature weapon systems in our cell phones and more.

[] [armor] Advanced defensive polymer weaving
[] [armor] Organic armor
[] [armor] Growable armor

Considering Isley is responsible this sounds like a good combination for getting her intelligence recognized and also these are all traits which can be found in plants. I know that certain plant fibers have the potential to be incredibly strong if not for hoe the fibers grow mostly seeming like random.

Not sure if theres a memorium or not so I leave it like this for now.

This turn is absurdly good.

Stuff I want
[ ] [amazo] Basic security bots There is never enough security.
[ ] [amazo] Microchips For our phone-branch
[ ] [amazo] Basic builder bots This will help with construction-related actions

[ ] [armor] Organic armor I want this because it should open good tech trees for Pamela
[ ] [armor] Hidden armor One of reasons why we started this project is giving Luthor protection from assassins

Would choosing all of these five work?
Yes.

The A.M.A.Z.O. project would be completed in 24 turns. DCAU Amazo requires you to have completed the project and for Amazo to fight the whole Justice league without getting defeated.

Does vote tally counts multiples of the same correctly? If not we can use a format like

[ ] [amazo] Complete another step of the A.M.A.Z.O. project
[ ] [amazo] Complete another step of the A.M.A.Z.O. project (2)

Not that I want to invest in Amazo ignoring all that good stuff.

There is a moratorium these votes are discounted. It's starting to get a little annoying to have to say this after every post with a moratorium

If I tally by block or with no criteria and then compile by hand it works out fine (that's what I plan on doing for these votes). Thanks for the concern but this vote is probably going to get crazy no matter what format it takes just due to the number of options that are good.

actually no. Best would be to pick all the other benefits and keep Ivo building AMAZO. With that new trait of his, it guarantees that we get a tech benefit whenever Ivo works on Amazo, and finishing it fast will either introduce Amazo with no way for us to counter it, or just lose us potential tech benefits from Ivo's work.

EDIT: Oops forgot the Moratorium

first no voting. second our main goal with Ivo is Amazo we still our going to have a hell of a long time with him even if we do devote is robotics vote all to Amazo I feel like everything else can wait til next turn since we will probably be dedicated a action every time to Amazo from now on

All at once? Or can we go one at a time?
You could go one at a time but it introduces more possible points of failure

Moratorium is in effect. This vote is discounted

The dice taketh away and the dice giveth. Wow.

For the robotic revelation subvote, I think we should pick non-AMAZO choices as now we get a double benefit for each time Ivo succeeds on the AMAZO project. So, we can milk it a bit and use this bonus to either get into another industry, support our own industry, or just improve our own research ability.

[ ] [amazo] Supercomputers
For the research and business boost that supercomputers would give.

[ ] [amazo] Microchips
Advanced Microchips? Our next industry! This chip has Lextel Inside!

[ ] [amazo] Animal-like AI
To unlock future Human-like AI.

[ ] [amazo] Human-like robots
Even if we shouldn't mass-market this tech, yet (not without Human-like AI), the ability to make a machine Human-like is beyond anything currently available. Maybe for an amazing ride at DisneyLand?

As to armor: what is Material Integration?

As to amazo: What are Miniaturized Machines?
