It's like taking a loaded shotgun, shooting yourself in the leg, and wondering why you aren't able to run anymore. Double Down outright..is the worst option to pick. It just hammers in a point of what he was before the world shifted into what it is now and that he isn't really possible of the change that we, the players/audience, want to see out of him.I am deeply against Double Down as an option; it is both effectively stating Father will never have character development; while also actively antagonizing Hank and showing to the entire planet Father is completely insane.
Right after we spent a ton of actions building PR, got a Semi-Public Government Contract, and have to deal with Hex's PR crisis.
There is playing a supervillain and playing a mad dog, Rationalize it is designed to allow us to do the former without the latter.
Alright, emergency switch!Just a note: Rationalize it is fine, but it'll achieve less than Double Down or Disown it individually.
That just means it does bothJust a note: Rationalize it is fine, but it'll achieve less than Double Down or Disown it individually.
It's not a good guy move, it's a Hero move. As I said, in our (and Venture Bros) neck of the woods, Hero and Villain aren't moral qualities, they're occupations to which one can aspire. Ask Jonas Venture: Science Hero par excelle...And also a total scumbag who abused his son and hurt a lot of innocent people.I find it inordinately amusing that working for and with the government is a supposedly a good guy move considering the nature of the world we live in. I legitimately laughed.
