FATHER QUEST - A Cartoon Network: Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Cross Over

It's obviously early given how much is going to change but I decided to try and complie the probable new actions next turn:
-[X] Continue to Fight Gems
Reward: More Gem Tech, improved relations with Government, Possible Hero Recruits, Gem Prisoners

Likely actions from this:
- more study Gem tech
- various potential recruits
- interrogate Gem prisoners

Reward: Increased relations with all of the corporate factions. A writeup on the major corporate groups (Endsville Energy, Mandark Co, Scam Co, Katz Ventures, and Black Hat) will be presented in a future update. Actions related to VenTech Industries are now available.

- options to collaborate
- options to spy
- whatever Ventech offers

Reward: Your new news network will provide insight into further rival actions. Actions related to television/broadcasting now available!

A vote on which news network you'd like to buy will be posted in a future update. Canon Write-Ins are encouraged!

- options to diversify into other kinds of TV
- options to manipulate the news

Reward: Father is more aware of alien factions on Earth. New actions unlocked.

- Probably grants reach out to/spy on various alien factions/providence/forever knights

Reward: Gem technology principles understood. New actions unlocked.

The Gem warship is back online with a propane power source.

- probably a learning or stewardship on how to implement light technology into stuff
- decision on what to do with the captured warship

Reward: New magic item! It can be equipped to heroes and studied with future actions.

- the helm can be studied, whcih probably gives knowledge of Shen Gong Wu

Reward: Father has been invited to appear on Moltar Coast to Coast!

- probably a personal

So should we focus on dealing with the monsters next or resume going after KND remnants?

I support the idea of using our new spaceship to fight giant monsters

okay so a few goals out of the results of this turn.

get Moltar on board and running our news wing with Moltar coast to coast being the brand new adult talk show across the world .

deal with the KND he has captured by creating a military school for them using our new connections with the US military. drill sergents deployed aplenty and turn veteran compatent kids into well drilled and complient teenage solders to be deployed as needed.

reconfigure KND tech for adult use and sell them to the US military on the cheap to aid in the Gem war ( and when we find him the Vilgax war) for example those bus shuttles that can get from the moon to planet side in a few minutes would be an absolute god send.

continiue to push the Gems as much as we can while using our news wing to publcise our "heroic" actions on aiding the milatary in kicking the invaders off our planet.

use that influence to either catapult our own run for office on the base of being a war hero or to support a puppet pres's bid for office.

longer term set up a treaty with mandy to not mess with her and teach man dark a lesson

Counterpoint: the KND are a bunch of unruly brats who need a firm hand.
Moltar has them runing his business like good little drones

"Moltar Productions, head of security speaking. State your business."
Numbuh 362. That big brat sitting on the big throne of the KND. And here she was, sounding… Well, more depressed than usual.
"Well, well, well. Numbuh 362. I am most disappointed. Here I thought you were the only brat capable of picking up a phone. But you KND do find new ways to earn my Ire."
"Sir, is there a reason you have called me? All death threats, terrorist invoices, ransom demands, and personal attacks should be directed to Moltar Production's public resources depar-"
"What? NO! I HATE those things! I'm calling to see WHY you and your punks haven't even bothered to attack me since you dropped your crummy MOONbase on ME!"
"Sir, as per studio procedures, I am not… Hold on."
in warms my dead heart to see rebellious children being forced to answer calls like glorified answering machines.

he's done all the work of breaking their spirits for us! now we just need to shape those broken spirits into proper minions via horrific condtions and being yelled at by people who's whole goal in life is to make other people miserable.

Adult bless drill instructors

I think we can do better than attacking the KND with martial actions.

Can't easily post in SV at work, but I'm against going after the KND directly if we can help it

Crush them societally, make it harder for them to recruit and sustain themselves with related actions that can also benefit us
Something lile this would be better imo.

Also continuing to fight gems for more tech and loot could be amazing, either that or a military school if its martial to set up although I would guess stewardship. Maybe ice cream men training if we're recruiting XXXL.

I don't think starving the KND of recruits is going to work all that well. We can't expect them to hole up and do nothing while we attempt such a long-term tactic. I fully expect them to seek an alliance with a King that's already inclined to enmity with us (Mandark comes to mind), at which point the information they can provide about us is a serious concern.

eh, i'd like to hold off for a bit. We have a decent amount of self defense stuff to do. Cleaning the Yard, training our Ice Cream Men, and I'd like to drag the Mother Tie back at some point for increased profits.

If Hella is planning on letting us get multiple actions, Its likely behind the Ice Cream Men Tree.

Their dead as a global entity unless Monty can rebuild em. If we want to end the KND for our lifetime we need to find Monty and Nigel; not attack random tree forts. If we do cut down treehouses, it should be for a chance at important prisoners or 2x4 Tech.

I mean, the important prisoners you mentioned are the ones I'm worried will be looking to ally with other Kings. Plus, they're the closest thing we have to a lead on Monty and Nigel right now.

Don't put that past him, he's the one that revived it and kicked off it's...5th era/iteration? Something like that iirc. And this time he's not alone, he's got Numbuh 1 and the former DCFDTL at his back. All legendary figures in their own right.

Father is a powerful Martial King, but I'd be pretty shocked to hear that 0 and his new crew aren't a Intrigue King in their own right.

Don't kill me, but I wouldn't hate it if they did succeed in reviving the KND. It just feels right for Father to have them as his eternal rival somehow. So long as we can keep them from rebuilding a global presence and retain the upper hand I don't mind. It's not like we'd ever have Nigel willingly work for us anyway…

EDIT: And because they're all 13 by now and have Monty involved I bet the new KND would be a bit less dysfunctional when it comes to decommissioning.

Eh, I want Father to remain evil, but I do want him to develop a bit, and, frankly, spending all our time fighting children was a waste of our potential. I don't really care about the KND, so long as they're out of our hair.

I've taken the current 5 Martial Actions and compiled them into 3 Groups, defensive, offensive, and weird.

Defensive Actions are those designed to keep our territory safe, and currently consist of Cut the Lawn and Train your Ice Cream men. I believe we should do these relatively soon to keep our territory safe. Otherwise guys like Argost or K'nuckles might raid us

Next, our Offensive Actions are going to be Cut down Treehouses and Continue Fighting the Gems. The latter is probably the lowest priotity for me, mostly because we've reached the point where the DC is gonna get higher and we have to make contested checks against Jasper, who almost matches us in Martial. The primary benefits of both are 3 fold, we weaken an immediate enemy, we can aquire loot & prisoners, and PR with either the Soopervillains or American Public.

The 3rd, Weird Martial is stuff that isn't defensive, but also isn't really us fighting an enemy. Currently this is just Hunt the Mother Tie. It likely will give a business boost.

I don't think "out of our hair" is a realistic expectation as long as they're around. There's waaaay too much bad blood between us and them. If we want to avoid spending all our time fighting children, I believe the only way to accomplish that is to deal with them in the early game before they have a chance to regain their footing and come after us.

The issue here is that to fully remove the KND we'd have to travel across the world, attacking them all the while. It's far easier and more effective to just try and contain them. Same with the Gems.

The slow burn plan is designed to simply stop the KND from attacking by making kids incapable of joining and moving them away from Adult Co.

All children? That's a quick way to empty out our territory as families move out. Or do you just mean active KND members? In that case, we'll have to constantly work to suppress it in our territory.
The plan is to starve them of recruits by sending them to a military boarding school. It won't fully stop em, but we can keep them contained and be lax on the total action use.

If we want to use actions to fight the KND directly, we should be using intrigue and try to track down Monty, Sector Z and Nigel. They are the 3 biggest players on the field in rebuilding the KND with 362 incapacitad. Once we find them we can probably enter talks with Monty; are capture and imprison them. We also could try to get 362 from Moltar and use her as our minion; since doing so will 100% cause the rest of the KND to be tossed into disarray (They seem highly unwilling to disobey the Soopreme Leader).

Just attack them though is futile, since more will always keep coming. They'll sneak out of their rooms, get recruits from Sectors in states and countries we have limited resources in; and more.

Not sure how down I am with the military school idea, but, immediate idea: Thanks to our war on the Gems, we are now VERY MUCH on the fed's good side. Perhaps we could do some lobbying and get those little twerps classified as a terrorist group? That would certainly put a crick in recruitment. Why fight them ourselves when we can sic the government on them?

Probably not, though Father is actually planning on trying that with Providence going by the action blurb.

Maybe if we get a president and try lobbying; but even then it's probably a hard sell for the politicians.
