Durga, this is where you reveal that you've been brute forcing and reverse-engineering a successful emulation of Anna's parents based on their behavioral profiles and the sensor data you took off of their corpses while Anna was burying them. Right?
My friends and I joke that I am a tremendous bully when it comes to characters, but contemplating the idea that Durga, as quasi-sophont as she is due to being linked so long-term with Anna, would basically brute-force hack Anna's brain to try and dredge up memories that had been blanked due to traumatic brain injuries (Which Anna's admitted to having in the past), didn't sit right with me.
So, of course, my tremendous bullying was limited to the whole 'She remembers the faces, but not the names or relationship she once had'. Admittedly, that'd probably be more-suited to a -2 or -3 world, because Anna's fairly on the ball instead of being unhinged, but there's been implications of gaps in important memories as far back as her very early childhood.
Also, there's the whole 'She hasn't had time to even start coming to grips with her grief'. She spent so long fighting, trying desperately to protect her hometown, that her time in the Perth Arcology's pretty much been the first time since she was 8 where she could sit down and have a proper cry.
