Well, there we go. An actual quote, from the first update even. Seems I need to do a reread.

As per Anna's statement just referred to, 16 is the average. As we know candidates are sometimes found late enough it is not entirely unusual for first years to be older than third years, it must follow the age range is something like 13-20. (With the majority in 15-16 range but a number of outliers.)
Valkyrie cores change their users. And Durga's been on a 'let Anna be more normal' kick now that she's not fighting for survival all the time. Apparently the extra height was useful somehow but Durga thinks not towering over everyone like a giant will help her feel more normal now that she's not fighting for survival all the time.I totally missed the information about Anna's height and that it changes. From what I get of the comments it is because she has removed one of her cannons for science but why would that affect her size?
Is that why the one pilot has armor for her hair?Valkyrie cores change their users. And Durga's been on a 'let Anna be more normal' kick now that she's not fighting for survival all the time. I think you may be a bit confused. Nobody has armor for hair. Though one pilot has inhumanly voluminous hair.
No, that happens. But that's armor over her hair. Wait... Hm... Maybe I was the one who was confused. The phrase 'armor for her hair' could mean armor replacing her hair or armor protecting her hair. I took it to mean the former since we were just talking about Valkyrie Cores altering the bodies of their users. You mean her hair isn't protected by armored cones?
What if the drills get damaged man?!
Morphic hair extensions? Sounds like Schwarzkopf and Krupp did a merger in the future. The phrase 'armor for her hair' could mean armor replacing her hair or armor protecting her hair.
4koma series with a chibi Anna doing science things in an oversized lab coat and a anxious Durga in a gynoid meido body.
Yupperoni!
Even if that were the case, I doubt Valkyries have to worry about things like neck pain. That would be... inefficient.I thought Sandra wore an elongated helmet for her absurd amount of hair. RIP neck muscles tho.
Yes, she does. We just had a conversation over whether someone had mistaken her armored hair for hair armor.I thought Sandra wore an elongated helmet for her absurd amount of hair. RIP neck muscles tho..
have you ever read through something only to feel like you've missed something very important? That's how I feel having read through three pages of thread marked posts but missing 760. So, for fear of my sanity I have to ask: what the heck did I miss?
Some topics are/were fairly salt inducing. Most of those are directly related to a vote (geometry notwithstanding). One of which was the organs on/off thing.Mostly through newbies walking in, kicking over a barrel of gasoline, dropping a lit match, and watching the fire burn. All of which was accidental. Really, seriously, accidental. I recognize that this thread is bloody massive, and that people should not be expected to read the whole thing. As well as that if you just read the story posts you will arrive to latest page feeling that some story posts are quite recent, because they are only sixteen of eighteen, but those posts happened over the course of more than a year.
Most of it you really don't need to read but you should read the threadmarked Apocrypha, Media, and Informational posts.have you ever read through something only to feel like you've missed something very important? ....where's my "Horror" rating?Sudden plot twist.
Avalanche is actually writing the quest all the time.
We just don't get to see this part of his work.
Skipping on updates that are not uploaded.
Since we chose the 'skip' option.
Yeah, definitely. We tend to maximize content per chapter, because we want as much awesome as possible before the overall story ends... But I *really* don't think we need to worry about that, and voting for fewer things might instead speed up the overall plot progression. Which would be nice, since avalanche has hinted at neat things.Have any of you ever had the feeling that we added an extra year to the delay before Avalanche writes the next update with the content we chose for the vote?
What I should have done:
What do you guys want to do in the morning and lunch?
*write update for morning and lunch*
What do you guys want to do in afternoon and evening?
*writes update for afternoon and evening*
