> 2012: Impact
> Anna born ~2054
> AGs arrive 2057
> Global Population drops over 50% within first few months of AGs arriving
-> Population loss is dramatically higher in areas closer to AGs because those areas are A) abandoned by UN, B) slaughtered to a child by AG ground forces
> Anchorage remains active until at least 2061
> Anchorage is actually closer to active UN zones than many major population centers -- Anchorage to Siberia/China is probably (?) a shorter distance than W. Eur to India / South Africa, but more importantly WAY fewer AGs in the way too.
-> Anchorage supported by UN 2057-2061??? Probably. Otherwise, unclear how it took 4 years for AGs to destroy it.
-> NA population (excluding Mexico?) likely a 6-7 digit number within 3 months
> AGs sit back and build forcenumbers for at least rest of 2057
> NA 2057- ~2061: ??????
> 2061: Battle of Britain ends w/ discovery of 300, EU turns into a rout momentarily
> 2061: Uralsk Breach destroyed, Type Zero Indra debuts as first Type Zero in aftermath & stops UN progress in EU.
> 2061: Anna finds Durga
> 2061: Anchorage destroyed by AGs
> 2062: Saskatoon Breach established by AGs
> 2062: first probing attacks reach Hometown
-> AGs were likely preoccupied fighting UN who had lots of humans + guns instead of hunting down random backwaters with unarmed 8yr olds in them.
> Somewhere between 7 and 7.5 years of intermittent combat which eventually becomes nonstop combat, Anna does not have memories of desyncing Durga during this time (possible memories deleted)
-> Gradually ramping up as Saskatoon Breach became more established (?)
> Gradually ramping up as AGs dedicate more firepower to killing weird little girl defending 4 digit population Hometown in middle of nowhere
> 2063: Aswang annihilates central African arcologies
> 2066: Great Battle w/ AG pushes on all fronts starts. SEA & NZ are major battlefields feat. AGs from NA, SA is largely ignored.
> 2066: Mombasa Arcology attacked by AGs. Sandra is present, Shuri is present & fighting the AGs. Shuri saves 300,000 civilians by soloing several Types while defending armored plate as it closes, photo op of her reuniting Sandra & Sandra's father. First recorded use of group teleportation by non-Zero AGs (Feat. Type-18s). Shuri's fellow Pakistani child-Valks are slaughtered.
> 2067: Type Zero Class D Hou-Yi killed by Pakistani AF feat. Shuri
> 2067: Type Zero Class E Medusa killed by Pakistani AF feat. Shuri, Valks are ordered to chase Medusa deep into AG territory & Medusa turns on them w/ massive ambush, Medusa is killed, but only 300 interrupt prevents a subsequent total massacre
> 2068: Sandra tests & confirms for Valk compatibility despite political exemption. Signs on for Co2070 @ Perth.
> 2068: Guerra FOB slagged into molten puddle by Class A Kronos w/ Class B Marut and Class B Ahriman in attendance. Shuri is present as part of escort for evacuation.
> 2068: UN takes control of Pakistan, subsequent resolution passes that absorbs all other non-UN entities into UN. Shuri put on indefinite leave.
> early 2069: Sandra abducted in Bangladesh kidnapping incident, Shuri investigates & cracks a people-mover/slaver ring. In aftermath, Sandra tests positive for Valk compatibility & enrolls with Co2070 for Perth despite political exemption.

> 2069: Batallion 44 Incident, Shuri involved (details unknown, some connection to UNAF reorg?)
> Nov/13/2069: United Nations Armed Forces reorganization (details unknown)
> 2069: Great Battle ends, presumably in aftermath of Alaskan Offensive which stops AGs invading SEA from NA.

If you're worried about it being an arms race, which is actually pretty fair, then we can keep ahead by keeping developing Wave Force further. Everything we've seen indicates that the WF is a skill tree, at least, we have two new types (Red Wave and Blue Wave) to develop right now, and you can bet that beyond those there'll at the very least be a combined Red+Blue Wave.

The thing about Target Rich Environment as a method for developing strength is we can always be overwhelmed. The counters already exist - more numbers, or stronger enemies. Meanwhile there is no counter for Class A TZ that the Antagonists will allow the UN to actually deploy (in theory enough 300, but in practice the AG know that and will withdraw before enough can be mustered). The end-goal of our WF project, where we can teach a much-improved version to other Valks, represents the end of the idea that high-tier TZ are invincible so long as they are deployed away from concentrations of the 300. And only we understand the Valk-level WF right now.

There are strategic reasons why the UN turned WF study into multiple top-secret projects, after all.

Been noted IC already back when we visited the instructor's lounge.

I wasn't really thinking about it becoming an arms race. Like I said it, I just wondered if, in the event she got sent to Africa, she might help better if TRE was at a higher level. It was mostly a random thought.

I think we can safely say that they have been in production for awhile science the first classification as Aberrant Type was in use for more then just Indra and their was at least 11 that were discovered over the course of this interlude. Indra was simply the First Type Zero A seen.

Our frame has comprable combat capabilities (probably)
Not exactly, Avalanche explicitly stated that Durga's Impeller strength is notably less than a 300 frame's (and that's with us rolling the maximum possible strength at quest start), and we also know that 300 frames recharge Impeller ridiculously fast.

In other words, 300 frames have a qualitative superiority that isn't just a result of gaining "XP" faster than normal frames, especially with regards to Impeller Fields but possibly in other areas as well.

Indra was explicitly the first Type Zero recorded. That's the phrasing used in the wog.

Comprable, not equal. Let me redefine: I expect Durga is closer in strength to a 300 frame than it is to an average Valk frame.

"-the latest report suggest the clean-up operations following the recent Alaskan offensive is proceeding well ahead of schedule. With the destruction of three minor Breaches in a record breaking, lightning fast two week campaign and the elimination of two Type Zero AGs on top of that, our analyst suggest that the Western Seaboard of the North American continent will be completely cleared of hostiles within months."
Do we know the name of the other type Zero that died? Cause the wasn't one of the A's, and the main charters Sister was involved in the offensive.

Not sure. The only other Type 0 that I can recall off hand as being confirmed killed was Indra, but no mention of where that was. Death was mentioned the first time we visited the instructor's lounge.

The incandescently white Type Zero, first ever of its kind, surrounded by hundreds of photos, most greyed out and a few still coloured in. You suddenly realise that the greyed out photos must be of the Valkyries whom had been slain by Indra and those still coloured were those who had fought it and lived, including those who eventually killed it.

There were three Type 0's mentioned in the Single Sweep historical scenario, but no confirmation on any of the three being killed, two of which were specifically noted to have escaped the initial push, but might have been taken down later.

Raksha.

Herakles.

A pair of Type Zeros, Class B and Class C, facing Pinnacle Squadron head on.

[...]

The last Type Zero Subjugation Squadron in the Northeast Theatre, Theophagy, were still battling Aeon out of Sandra's map range. Historically, here on the West Coast, neither side would take casualties. The Type Zeroes would battle against Last Word, then retreat as Deicide joined the battle, escaping before Ragnarok could cut them off.

EDIT: Ah, Koden found it below. Aeon. I remembered the wall with the photos from that update, but I didn't think to read the rest of the text.

Aeon.
From when Anna met the instructors.

"Thank you for destroying Sekhmet," says Meyer, her tone sombre, "We both lost people we knew to that Monster during Alaska."

"We probably wouldn't have been able to pin down Aeon either if you did not go on to shut down the Saskatoon breach," continued Leonhart, both of them still holding their salutes.

"With Aeon and Sekhmet still around,
Herakles and Raksha probably wouldn't have retreated from Los Angeles and we'd still be fighting today," said Meyer as both women finally dropped their salutes, "So you undoubtedly saved our lives and hundreds of thousands of others."

All these people wondering why Type Zeroes aren't fighting like Zergs and I'm just sitting here, wondering why three of them decided to gang up on a single Arcology with two doing fuck all.

Seriously, what the fuck were they looking for there? Did that particular place have something they needed?
